OPTIONAL TASK 363

Bowie grabbed her coffee and went upstairs. She sat down at the window seat and rested her coffee mug on the shelf. She rested her back against the wall and bent her knees before placing her journal on her knees. Glancing out of the window she smiled. This had been a wonderful summer. Probably one of the best summers she had ever experienced in her life. She watched as she leaves on the tree blew backwards and forwards, before turning her attention back to her journal. She wrote down the words ‘best summer ever’.

Well journal this has been the best summer ever. I had given up on love but then someone came into my life in the most unexpected of ways. I was drinking in the bar and some guys spiked my drink and the owner stepped in and saved me from trouble. I then saw one of my old rapists and had a full on breakdown and I ended up confessing everything to him. Instead of running he was understanding. He respected me, and didn’t judge me. We talked more and then went on a few dates and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was so happy. Azarath is an incredible human being.

We have been to Disney and Paris, fairs, festivals… we’ve done so much together. It really has been the best summer ever and I cannot wait to see what is next for us. I am head over heels in love. I can’t believe I got so lucky to find him. I believe in love again and I’ve never been this happy. The world seems a whole lot brighter with him in my life.
