Amara strained her ears to hear what was the cause of it. The slight sound of audible hissing and screeching set her teeth on edge, clenching together, her face scrunched up slightly. “...If this has anything to do with... “I guess we’ll have to call this a early dinner, Hm?” She gave him a smile and looked outside the window again before grabbing her clutch from the place next to her. “I suggest you go on ahead... I can pay for this dinner if you promise to take me out for breakfast or lunch tomorrow.” Amara looked up while standing up, winking at him. “I’ll catch up in a second.”

She didn’t leave the table right away, instead she rounded the table and reached for his chin. Leaning down to plant a light kiss on his lips, fangs nipping skin lightly, but not breaking skin. Amara had the nerve the smirk even wider when she pulled back. Turning on her heel she walked over to the waitress and made a effort to keep herself from looking back.
