Activity Check - 9/27
Raven had never been a creative person. It was of no fault of her own because her life had been a constant sleu of fight and survival. Sitting down and playing around with paints or clay had never really been an option for her. In fact, to her, there was no real difference between one art piece and the other. They were as they were: pieces of paper, clay or marble etched and morphed into shapes and colors. It was for this reason that she couldn't help but snort as someone called her aside while she was walking through Riot World; they wanted to draw her, to show her who she really was. "You're funny." The raven-haired beauty coughed, but stopped immediately at the downtrodden look that splashed upon the young boy's face. A heavy sigh escaped past her full lips as she agreed, taking a seat where he had asked her to and allowing him to 'work his magic'. The boy was busy to work immediately, his tiny hands working seemingly at the speed of light as he dropped one pencil for the next, rubbed at the parchment with his fingertips and even grunted here and there. Raven remained silent, only moving as he finally announced that he was done. He lifted the image off the easle and showed her, his face overwhelmed by emotions of pride and excitement as he asked what she thought.
Her eyes drank in the piece, noting the intricate lines and shapes, the shading and details. What he drew was not what she expected; she did not look like a person and instead, looked like a big ball of abstract shapes with shades of red and black. Rae tilted her head to the side as if to better digest what she was looking at, but it didn't help make it any more clear. Out of fear that she would discourage him, a small smile twitched upon her lips. "Very interesting." Raven hummed, rising from her chair and naturally grabbing out a few 20's that the boy attempted to decline until finally, her stubborness won out and he took the cash. Rae took the image in her hands, offering another light smile to the boy. "Keep up your work. If this is how you see me now, I am curious to see how you may see me in the future." She concluded, before turning on her heels and stalking off.
