1603: He was born during the summer of 1603 to a warlock named Benjamin Bane and his wife Adaline Weber. At the time he was called “Alexander” or “Alex” if his father was in a fond mood. The Starfall Coven moved from place to place, and Alec with them.
1604: Shortly after Alec was born parliament passed the witchcraft act, moving the issue from Church to ordinary Court. Fearing for their son, Benjamin and Adaline fled with the rest of their coven. When Alec grew older he began dabbling in spells that were not meant for his eyes, and one of those spells backfired on him thus leaving him immortal sometime in his mid-30s. (Considering spells to keep those looking young and youthful were common, no one questioned the depth of his condition.)
1692: The Salem Witch Trials, the Starfall Coven were stuck, they couldn’t move to another village without being noticed so they had no choice but to stay where they were at for a while. During this time, they kept their gifts to themselves. Alec on the other hand found it hilarious that is until the first person was hung in their village. The first victim, a farmer’s daughter, one that Alec had grown fond of. He couldn’t stand by and watch her be hung, so he used his own magic to cut the noose loose. This only made it worse, and more people were taken to the noose. Despite being told by his parents to keep his head down, Alec tried to liberate all the victims only to be caught himself.
He was later hung before the entire village, though he was smart enough to act dead until nightfall. When he returned to his family alive, they all realized what he had done, how he used dark magic to make himself immortal years ago. This made members of the coven shun him, looking him over and never really seeing him or his parents.
1735: The Starfall coven moved to England when the Witchcraft Act of 1735 was passed, making it a crime for a person to claim that any human had magical powers or was guilty of practicing witchcraft. Alec was quite fond of living in England, and kept his distance from the coven as much as he could. He spent most of his time in brothels, gambling with Navy men and wooing young women.
1813: The Regency era (around this time Alec became more fascinated with fashion), it was a darker era for Alec. He was still being shunned by his coven, and his dark tendencies were becoming stronger and more tempting by the passing second. It was around this time he took to taking opium, always spending his evening at a part of some sort. During his era he had won the hearts of many regency era women, he was the mystery they all craved, though none of these relations were ever serious for him at least. It was then the coven soon noticed his darkness and decided to excommunicate with him, and there was nothing his parents could do but turn their backs on their only son.

1916: Around this time Alec was making a name for himself in London, he was using his skills as a Ghost seer to his advantage. He was being hired by parties of arrogant rich mortals, asked to perform a seance. He made sure the mortals got what they paid for, and most of them were quite mentally damaged after what Alec had showed them, but that didn’t stop other people from hiring him for their party. It was also around this time he became slaying vampires, having missed the first war between his people and the vampires, he decided to take it upon himself to rid the world of the vermin the best he could.

1920: Alec had moved from London to America, deciding it's best to take a new start. Though around this time the Alcohol ban came to be, which annoyed Alec greatly considering his fondness for the spirits. So, Alec frequented speak-easys around town; partying until dawn unless a vampire or two caught his attention. Around this era, he became very well known for his slaying skill and was considered a warrior among his people despite his excommunication.

1950s: During his era Alec still kept up with his slaying, living on the rough side of town despite his wealth. He was currently hunting down a vampire who took to choosing victims from the local high school; so he remained in California until the vampire was caught, working undercover at a local gas station.

1983: Around this time Alec had moved to Oregon, following the lead on a black-magic coven in hopes of doing more research on the dark arts.

1993: He comes across the Blackblood coven and that’s where he met a dark magic witch named Terra Athena DuBois. He was intrigued not only by her beauty but by her power and the two began a relationship after he was accepted into the coven. He took his time to learn all he could from the coven, though there came a time when Terra became a bit unhinged and overbearing, feeling suffocated in this new relationship, Alec abandoned Terra and the coven and left in the middle of the night never to be heard from again. Little did he realize, Terra was pregnant with his child.

1994: Terra DuBois gave birth to Alec’s daughter, she was named Anula Sage DuBois, Alec was unaware that he had fathered a child.
2003: Alec moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and decided to lean on his skill as a Ghost Seer. This landed him a TV show that became quite popular all around the world. In his show, he’d pay visits to haunted locations and cleanse homes of evil spirits.

2013: Alec’s popular TV show “The Ghost Seer” got cancelled due to his alcoholism. The show still left Alec with a lot of money, and he did do house calls. With his money he was able to buy an apartment, which is filled to the brim with dangerous haunted artifacts.
2018: Alec kept to his side business of doing house calls, though during a drunken haze he decided he needed an assistant. That is when he came across a fellow excommunicated warlock named Elijah Dashwood, he too had knowledge on dark magic and was quite a skilled summoner. Elijah was hired, even though the two can’t stand each other.
