Vampire Rising: The Fall
(This is an alternate version of events)
Evil has always enticed man ever since the serpent lured Eve in the garden. It progressed, taking root. The seed festered. In a matter of a few years after the expulsion from the Garden, the fall of the two brothers would lead to the first human-demon hybrid - the descendants of the first man and woman. Lucifer tried to tempt Abel. Cain believed his brother was corrupt, so he attempted to kill him to protect him from succumbing to the darkness. The brothers were cursed for their discord. Cain was punished for his crime. He was cast into exile, forced to live his days believing he killed his brother, and marked for his crime. Lucifer saved Abel's life. He offered him immortality and power. Abel accepted this proposal, not realizing the full extent of Lucifer's offer. It darkened his heart. He along with his bride Lilith became the first vampires. Abominations feasting and destroying the race from which they emerged. Time passed. The disease that was vampirism spread, but it was also diluted as it passed from maker to progeny. Descendants, including the direct Aurelius line, were weaker vampires stricken with frailties, such as an inability to withstand sunlight. Fortunately, the Shadow Men were able to contain Abel. They imprisoned him in a death-like state buried deep within the ground. But Lilith escaped. Led by the Slayer, mankind fought back against the growing vampire hordes. One girl, in all the world, chosen to fight the demons and the forces of darkness.
According to legend, the blood of the chosen one (the Slayer) and the blood of a descendant (the Winchester line) could awaken Abel from his slumber. It was feared he would attempt to open the doors to the heavens and the gates to hell. He had expressed desires to rule them, a byproduct of which would be a human world in a state of dissonance. For centuries Lilith waited, searching for the opportunity to awaken her mate. She looked for a member of Abel's blood line. Only to finally find one that was in love with a Slayer. She watched them until the Slayer bore a child with the blood of both lines.
This was the perfect opportunity. She tried to take the child to drink in her power. But her efforts were in vain. The forces of good and love had prevailed, for the time being. Lilith had failed in her endeavors, and her body and head were now separated by hundreds of years and millions of miles, not dead, but not alive either. A few precious drops of Samantha's blood were spilt, unnoticed during the events at Lilith's castle, absorbed deep into the floor. Abel felt it, as if in a dream he was beckoned by those few drops, summoned. Deep within the ground his body regenerated. Tissues began reforming. Fluids flowed. He awoke pushing his way to the surface. It was time
