Biography
Nora Rose Spencer is the biological daughter of Shawn Spencer and Juliet O’Hara-Spencer. Shawn chose or rather stole the name Nora for his daughter due to his eventual friendship with Lassiter as he had a daughter named Lily Nora. Lassiter assumed that Shawn was just being a jerk and tried to force him to change her name, but Shawn said it was a way to honor him and Lily, which Marlowe thought was sweet. Lassiter reluctantly allowed the name, though there was really nothing he could do about it anyway.
When Nora was two years old, Shawn and Gus took her and Gus' son to the park. However, Shawn became distracted by a passing ice cream truck and temporarily forgot about Nora to go get some ice cream for around ten minutes due to the line at the truck, leaving her unattended. Unfortunately this incident would prove to be a grave mistake as when Shawn came back, realizing that he forgot to bring Nora when asking her what ice cream she wanted, she was completely gone. Shawn and Gus attempted to find her on their own, with Gus telling him he needed to tell Juliet and get the police involved, but Shawn not only thought he could do it on his own, but he didn't want Jules to give him the silent treatment. After spending hours looking and lying to Juliet when he came home, saying she was staying with Henry for the night, only for Henry to show up minutes later, and realizing he couldn't further lie his way out of this mess, he admitted the truth to them.
Morgan grew up developing her skills with her eidetic memory and being hyper-observant, with their neighbor Lynette even one time wanting her aid to see if her husband Tom had been cheating on her, which Morgan helped discover he had not been cheating, he had been planning a surprise party for his wife. Morgan did this because she was quite close to the family as one of her best friend's was their child, a girl slightly older than herself by the name of Paige Scavo. Paige Scavo's niece, another girl their age was named Sophie Scavo, who was also their best friend. Morgan, Paige, and Sophie were inseparable and were almost like sisters.
Morgan liked to develop her skills and soon found it easy to call the police hotline with tips regarding their cases. Due to the fact that she was underaged, she never claimed the money and told them to donate it to school's around the area to help fix them up. Morgan always pretended to be an adult because no one would take a fourteen year old seriously. However, one day the police traced the call to her residence, and wanted help with their case, which Morgan was happy to help out. She ended up solving one of the biggest murders in Fairview which ended up making national news.
Due to this coverage, a detective of the San Francisco police department and her husband ended up noticing the girl's birthmark. Making note of her exceptional skills, the couple realized that the girl on TV was their missing daughter Nora. They traveled to Fairview and introduced themselves as Juliet O’Hara-Spencer and Shawn Spencer, and told them they believed that Morgan was their missing daughter. This caused Katherine and Mike to reveal to Morgan that she was adopted. Once they had her DNA tested and it was revealed that she really was Nora Spencer, Morgan did not want to move, but had to.
Katherine was unable to bear to be apart from Morgan, and weeks later decided to expand her company of making french pastries, giving her friend Bree control of the Fairview division. With Mike's son MJ in college in San Francisco, Katherine and Mike decided to move there as well to be closer to their adoptive daughter, moving in a vacant house next door to the Spencer's so that they could all be close and MJ would save money on room and board. Morgan missed her friends deeply, but was glad that she could be near her adoptive parents, especially while she got used to her biological family.

Once they found her, he discovered that she inherited his abilities and his knack for solving crimes. They were able to become rather close, with Shawn developing his daughter’s abilities in a more fun way than his father would have done for him.

Losing her daughter was the worst experience of her life, leaving her extremely depressed for years, though she was able to work through it. Upon reading a story of a girl who managed to solve a murder case, she saw the same birthmark on the girl that her missing daughter had and knew it was Nora. Once she got Nora back, she was the happiest she had been in a long time. While Nora was closer to her adoptive mother, she eventually grew close to Juliet as well, eventually calling her mom too.
