Slave Wars Pt.2 Making Friends
Current mood:  accomplished

Story Prelude Part 2 : *~*~(This is a segmented chapter of history that happened in the slavers' war of Tevinter. The battle itself reached the outskirts of Nevarra lands thus explains why this was posted here, and from here it is mostly viewed from Tempest's point of view.)*~*~The fire sizzled and cracked over the burning logs once it reached the dried wood of the makeshift center. If there was one thing Lasher knew the best, it was how to build a fire on top of piles of snow. Tempest did have to give him credit for that. The area had to be dry, which required damp dirt for the bottom, stones around the fire itself to keep as much snow from melting into water and seeping in between the cracks to put it out, and of course piles upon piles of dry wood and leaves to burn. Though most of the trees had too much sap in them to really catch into flames, it took a little while before they could begin to burn properly.Tempest was staring back down at his bandaged hand from where he injured himself for the sake of the battle. The wound itself was clotted up and stiff. Every time he slowly attempted to move it, a stinging pain centered near the main artery of his hand. He had almost cut too deep this time, and he knew it, but the cold weather was proving to be a challenge for his power.Lasher was sitting on the other side of the fire, watching Tempest seemingly sulk over his problems. The redhead though; never seemed as bothered by the present tasks, or even his own injuries. He hardly had any this time anyway. Besides, now that they were back at the camp, they were able to finally relax. He could even swig down a few drinks and let another slaver guard the tents for a while."Does it hurt?" He finally asked before tilting the bottle of alcohol to his lips.Tempest looked up at the sound of Lasher's voice and his eyebrows lifted in a state of disbelief and annoyance. "... ...Yes. It hurts."Lasher made an audible grunt after swallowing down a few gulps of his liquid and then lowered the bottle to wipe his mouth with the back of his hand. "You need to stop thinking about it with that kind of attitude. Embrace the feeling. Slowly; if you have to, at first.""I'm not like you... Pain is pain. That's how I feel it." Tempest shook his head and looked back at his hand again."You wouldn't have to if you'd take my advice..." Lasher mentioned and then moved to stand up. He walked towards the sack of their remaining supplies and grabbed another flask before turning and heading closer to Tempest. "If it's that bad of a problem, then why don't you just heal it?""I'm not that good at healing..." Tempest found himself admitting openly. He then lifted his head and watched as Lasher walked towards him and handed a flask of liquor to him. Reaching up with his clean hand, he accepted the offer and lowered it back to his lap. "I can only do small healing spells for small amounts of time... and out here in the snow, there aren't many resources left.""Well, that's reassuring for battle...!" Lasher added almost in his cheery tone again and took another sip of his liquor before walking back to his spot by the fire to sit down. "At least the snow stopped falling for now. You may be able to still find things for salves if you look hard enough." "True... But I may as well heal normally at that rate. I'm not about to dig through the snow for any materials that may or may not be already withered from the weather." Tempest continued and turned his attention briefly towards taking a sip from his given flask. The liquid was warm and it burned down his throat like fire, but the inner fire felt good against the cold."Fair enough." Lasher answered and leaned back against his resting spot against the logs behind him; using the pile as a backrest.Tempest looked from his flask to look back at Lasher once more. He paused a moment, as if he was going to move towards taking another drink, but he hesitated. Resting his flask against his knee, he tilted his head to one side and watched Lasher a bit more. "You said you had seen an elf scalp someone. Is that something common out of dailish slaves?""Not really, but I wouldn't put it past them." Lasher answered looked back towards him from between the flames. His eyes had dropped though and he looked back towards the fire. "I did see it happen... Though I'm sure the knife ear was out of his head too.""So, he was mentally unstable." Tempest nodded as if coming to the conclusion on his own.Lasher scoffed at the answer and looked away. "He was probably just driven from rage. Rage is a powerful thing.""You can't imagine the sight of that much hatred." The redhead said as his words lightly trailed off afterwards, as if he was nearly lost in a memory. "You'd have to actually see it in someone's eyes... And you can't imagine the kind of anger it must have took to grab a fist full of hair, jerking that person's head back and sliding a dull shiv across the forehead."The mage lowered his head slightly but his eyes remained to study the man as he continued a rather unsettling tale."No matter how sharp a blade is, at that close of a range, there would still be a struggle... Especially while the victim is still alive, you see. They would have had to have been pinned down with a lot of force." Lasher turned his head back towards Tempest as he explained more. "It couldn't be a solid, single motion to finish the deed either. It takes a number of times to complete it; sawing, pulling and slicing until the pearly white bone of the skull glistens into view. A lot of hatred and a lot of force...""Who was it?" Tempest caught himself asking.Lasher rocked his head against the logs another time before taking another drink. "My younger sister. Clarisa."Blue eyes darted away as Tempest tried to avert his gaze elsewhere. He started to lift his flask and speak softly just before taking another drink. "I'm sorry.""Don't be. She probably deserved it." Lasher rolled his eyes and snorted some at the sympathy in his direction. "She was always a snake in the grass... Did anything she could to get me or the slaves beaten. She did blood magic like you, but she was more ...discrete... about it."Tempest tilted the flask up for a final drink and then placed the bottle back into the snow beneath him. He remained somewhat comfortably perched on a rock, where he could remove his boots and for the moment allow his feet to dry. After all the walking in the snow, he wouldn't want to catch Gang Green or Water-locked conditions. Having the skin wet for long periods of time and trapped within a moisture contained environment was dangerous to the health. He would have rather dealt with the cold briefly before allowing easy infections or poisons."I just meant..." He started to say and then wondered at what he was trying to explain. After shaking his head some, Tempest continued, "I mean I see now why have such venom against elves."Lasher's legs swung against the woodpile he was sitting on and while his back remained nestled in his wood pile from behind. He looked more like a viper, resting his 'tail' against a well-secured wooden nest. Rolling his eyes some at the statement before taking another drink, he lowered the flask down and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand."Nah. I show venom to every-blighted-one and every-blighted-thing, you know that." He answered promptly retorted and moved the flask towards his lap. "It's my job; and I don't discriminate, I tolerate.""Is that what you call it?" Tempest asked in a bit surprise; finding that he was learning more about this person every time. The redhead looked back at him and smiled some before looking towards the holding cages that the other elves were imprisoned in. The tarp was pulled down to keep them protected from the cold. His auburn eyes continued to stare towards the direction of the built cage as he started to speak again. "We are slavers, Tempest. We're not their friends. We are to give protection to their basics of needs, and to show authority where it needs to be shown. Sometimes the balance is lost. Sometimes we tend to do one action more than the other, but that's because we are paid to train them and sell them. Nothing else. We are hired to show them that 'slaves are property.' They belong to someone, and if they don't realize it or accept it, they will revolt against it... and lives will be lost either way because of it.""So, you believe in this? ...For the good of their sake or the Magisters or the Nobles?" Tempest asked in disbelief.Lasher shrugged some and looked back towards him again. "Look. It's just how things are run around here. You can't expect it to change overnight, and we're not paid to change it overnight.""I could understand it a little better if the people intentionally sold themselves into slavery," Tempest started to argue and shrugged his shoulders some in the process, "...but these are dailish. I may not know much about them, but surely they'd take more pride in themselves as opposed to the city elves of where I'm from.""And I'm assuming you can clearly tell the difference between the two? Half of your precious city elves are the sodding dailish." Lasher sighed tiredly looked back towards the fire again, "It's as I said... sometimes things get knocked out of balance. That's an issue you should be arguing with your damn Nobleman about, but I'd know better than to ask mine any questions. I just do my job and keep my mouth shut.""No you don't." Tempest smirked some in response. "You're the loudest blighted Nessum 'soldier' I've ever come across.""And you're the softest blighted Caimen Brea 'soldier' I've come across!" Lasher retorted with an equal expression. "You're so blasted green the trees envy you! How the Trevis blighters have not have killed you yet, I wonder...""Whatever it is, it's probably for the same reason why they haven't killed you." Tempest answered, earning a laugh from the other afterwards."I think I can drink to that." Lasher remarked and lifted his flask again. "Tempest, get your 'arse' over there to the cages and keep watch. It's your turn." Oatis called as he started to approach them from the tents."Oh, look at the big man spouting orders... Guess I better hurry." Tempest remarked brightly as he started to lean forward as he wobbly reached for his boots to pull back on and tie. He was hoping to let his feet dry for a little longer, but it didn't seem that he was going to get the chance just yet. stood back up to his feet once more. He smiled brightly towards Oatis and began to walk towards the direction he was given. As he passed him though, the mage kept quiet after that. He could hear the annoyed grunt Oatis had given which had only been his reward for the moment. Tempest could keep his smile for that.He walked over to the cages and pulled back the tarp to check the elves that were still huddled on the wooden planks of the cells that the slavers had kept for them. They were all seeking warmth and hugging each other to fend off the cold. Most of their bodies were covered with feathers, leathers, and mixtures of furs, but their frames were practically skin and bones. Tempest didn't know much about the dailish at all; he was only going with assumptions of what he already saw.Still. He couldn't fully grasp how Lasher could see them as a threat. Surely the one that killed Lasher's sister was one-of course-but the ones they had near them now, appeared too brittle to him. They looked more capable of shattering themselves before causing damage to anyone else. There was hardly any muscle to them mainly because they were not warrior elves; and most were women who probably had spent their lives as 'homemakers' for the hunters within their tribe.Dozens of eyes looked at him as they pressed themselves against the walls of their confinements. They were the eyes of fear and hatred; and so many. They seemed to have wanted to be as far away from him as they possibly could. They feared him, and Tempest felt ashamed. He looked towards the one elf woman, who he remembered was taken by Oatis during his 'initiation' from the night before. Even she had given him that same look, as if he was no better. She was shaking from in between two smaller-framed male elves, and Tempest couldn't tell if it was from fear or if it was because of the cold. His blue eyes darted away some as his shoulders slid the bearskin from his back. Tempest started to roll up the fur and slowly extended his arm out from between the stripped logs of their cell. His gaze met the shivering woman's in return as he stood there and waited."Go on. Take it..." He gestured and found that his waiting was only answered with more silence and stagnation. Tempest racked his tongue lightly across his chapped lips and he started to look towards the larger huddled elves afterwards. "....Blast it... You probably don't understand me after all. Do you?"The elf woman then gently pushed herself from between the two male elves and walked closer towards Tempest. Her approach was timid, but daring enough to accept the offer. As she slowly lifted the bearskin from his hands, she saw the clotted injury from where the mage had slashed open the wound. There was a hint of knowledge in her eyes as she cradled her hand underneath his in return. Tucking the rolled bearskin under one arm, the elf woman clasped her other hand over his hand completely.Tempest was a little uncertain to what she was doing. He had the first instinct to tug his hand away, but his elbow had seemed to be reluctant from following his desired command. Surprise started to shimmer in his eyes when he looked down to see her hands beginning to glow a silver colored light. Soon afterwards, his own hand started to reflect the same colored aura. Once the glow had dimmed and the elf woman released her grasp from him, Tempest carefully lifted his hand back to his face to see where the injury once was-had now been healed. He stretched his hand some, flexing and then fisting his hand gently as though to test if there was any more pain. No pain. The elf woman had successfully given him a healing spell to ease him of his injury! It was not entirely needed, nor necessary for Tempest, but it was surprising. Tempest turned his hand to show her the healed palm and clumsily started to bow his head. He didn't know the term to properly use, but he did wish to show his gratitude to her. So, his words fumbled along with his shied actions. "Tha-Thank you... Thank-""Ma serannas." The elf woman smiled a little and bowed her head low.Tempest paused some and retracted his arm slowly from cage as he looked at her. He wasn't certain, but he thought perhaps she was trying to welcome him somehow. "Ma... ser....?"The woman lifted her head again, keeping a small smile and brought the fur cloak back into both of her hands. She then bowed once more and repeated her phrase. "Ma serannas.""Ma serannas... 'Thank you'...?" Tempest started to question and then once he understood he smiled a little in return. "'Thank you.' That's it, isn't it? Ma serannas.""Tempest!" Lasher hollered from the campfire once he saw the mage facing the cage for a moment too long. "What in Dumat's hairy armpits have I told you about making friends? You're going to freeze them if you keep that cover off them, you flaming blighter! Close it, now!"Tempest glanced back over his shoulder from the shout and quickly did a double take towards the elf woman again. He lowered his head some apologetically and eased back out of the tarp to close the flap away from the colder air outside of its protection.

Slave Wars Pt.1 The Search in Nevarra
Current mood:  accomplished

Story Prelude Part 1 : *~*~(This is a segmented chapter of history that happened in the slavers' war of Tevinter. The battle itself reached the outskirts of Nevarra lands thus explains why this was posted here, and from here it is mostly viewed from Tempest's point of view.)*~*~Blood. Soil. Death. The things that Tempest had seen lately were fairly close to what his mother had foretold of his fate. The thought of it sent chills down his spine; freezing chills to match the chills in his knees. The snow in the Silent Plains was heavy beyond imagining! ...Or perhaps it was just because Tempest was sick of seeing snow and frozen slush by now...He tried to ignore it by attempting to keep his focus on the task at hand. He was currently traveling with two warriors from Nessum. Tempest; however, was from Caimen Brea which was why his protective weather clothing was slightly different than theirs. His relied more over furs instead of the Nessum's choice of feathers and thick-layered leathers. Nessum and Caimen Brea were at war among themselves against the lands of Trevis. Though with the winter starting to become even more harsh to deal with than the deaths of one another, the slavers who represented Caimen Brea had offered the slavers of Nessum a treaty in order to take the slaves of the Trevis lands and divide the profits. Tempest hadn't seemed to object to the idea hardly anymore than those from Nessum. If it meant getting back to a warm fire and a good meal sooner, he would have been more than happy to agree. However, after some of the behaviors that the slavers from Nessum began to show to the slaves, the mage was starting to regret being a part of this Slavers' Treaty. His own behavior had compromised one mission against the Trevis slave holders already. The end result did kill a few of the soldiers, but two of the slaves managed to escape. So, there the three of them were: Tempest, Lasher, and a new Nessum slaver recruit named Oatis, traveling south in the direction towards Nevarra in search for the two missing slaves. Tempest could hardly blame them for wanting to escape, but at the same time he was wishing the search would just end quickly. The fire was the only pleasant thing to still remain on his mind.Lasher on the other hand, had always seemed to enjoy things like this. Hunting others or fighting. Tempest could never really figure him out, but he was glad to have him on his side for a change rather than against him. It was somewhat less stressful. The two had a shared disgust for the nobles they served, even the noble of Trevis who was involved in the current slave war. Tempest liked to have hoped that this was because Lasher probably wanted to return home quickly or to have this war at least end. Though, his thoughts were interrupted after hearing Lasher's persistent singing."Oh, an elf had a baby, Knife Ear was his name. They knew that he was crazy. His daddy was the same." The redhead started to sing out loud as they marched through; paving away the snow as they moved. "And when I find them, I'll slaughter them all. Open up their innards; feed them to the dogs."Tempest looked towards Lasher as one eyebrow had started to lift in the disbelief of what he was hearing. However, Lasher just ignored him and continued sing a bit louder."One, two, three. Who should I kill? Every sodding blighter, running up the hill! One, two, three. What should I do? Whip out my blade and slice them in two--!""By the Breath of Dumat!" Tempest swore in a hushed tone as he started to take stronger steps to walk alongside Lasher. "Why not sing about their mothers to see if they'll join in?""That was verse two." Lasher grinned and rested his wrist against the handle of his sheathed blade.Tempest grimaced a little in disgust and looked away. "Esto must give you a raise in pay every day...""Oi. Stop being so condo... condign..." Oatis looked away some and started to scratch his head."Condescending?" Tempest questioned him and then hugged his shoulders against the cold winds as the snow continued to relentlessly fall. "No. Not until I get back to the fire and get my feet dry ...""Oh, you're just pissed that you were hog-tied while Oatis had a piece of that elf action earlier." Lasher snickered and glanced back over his shoulder. "Isn't that right, Oatis?""Yeah, I think it is." Oatis answered promptly with an equal boasting joy.Tempest could feel his stomach wanting to churn the more he was around them. The last thing he wanted to remember was that terrible 'initiation' night. Oatis was the newest recruit for Nessum and he recently had reached their camp to join the war. The ritual that the Nessum slavers seemed to enjoy doing involved a lot of unwilling participation from the captured women. The image of that poor elf would never leave Tempest's nightmares after what he was forced to witness. He didn't hate the fellow slavers since they were willing to join Caimen Brea against Trevis lands, but it was times like these that he did find them disgusting as well as annoying. The growing detest was rapidly increasing. He could only assume that it had to do with their different beliefs in how to treat the slaves. They obviously had different tactics, some worked where others at different times didn't. Tempest had been told many times during this trip that he was too soft. He probably was, but he just couldn't bring himself to do some of the things the other slavers had done to the elves that they had captured. In fact, he was more surprised at himself for not fighting more often, but there was a treaty to appease, and the enemy should have only been the slavers from Trevis now."All this snow is starting to seep through the leather of my boots, and my legs are growing numb due to this hellish cold." Tempest rolled his eyes and started to grumble to himself."Yeah, well it's your fault we have to shuffle through this hellish cold in the first place. You let the slaves escape." Lasher was quick to mock him in return."Yes, yes, we all know I'm at fault for that, but I don't see why we're still punishing ourselves over it." Tempest continued to complain. "They could be frozen to death by now, you know."Lasher turned around and lifted his blade up, aiming the tip of the steel against Tempest's chest to cause the mage to stop in his tracks. A little startled, Tempest had stopped-of course-leaving time for the redhead to walk around him to the point that he faced him. Their eyes stared at each other in the impasse, and Tempest could at last (to his mild relief) see that Lasher was still grinning."Please remove your sword from my chest or I'll melt your hands off." Tempest warned in a quiet tone. He wasn't certain as to what to expect out here, but he knew that he was already beyond uncomfortable."Uh. Guys?" Oatis questioned once he caught up to them. The pot-bellied, bulbous-nosed, slouch of a man seemed reluctant to get too close to them. To him, it looked like the two were going to fight after all. "Guys, it's way too cold to be doing this now. Can't we save it 'till we get back to camp?""...Hold a minute, Oatis..." Lasher started to snicker but his eyes hadn't wavered from their glare against Tempest. "It seems our 'partner' doesn't want to find our assets.""You should focus more on your counting skills." Tempest smirked back at him and waited while watching as Lasher finally lifted his blade away from him. "I'm just saying I'd rather be fighting the Trevis twerps then having to look all over Dumat's frozen tundra for two slaves who are probably dead. They wouldn't even fetch a decent price if they were alive anyway.""Oh, they're alive." Lasher scoffed and rested his blade against his shoulder momentarily. He then turned away to and started to take the lead again. "And they all fetch decent prices. We wouldn't be in the middle of this frozen tundra otherwise. So the sooner we find those tarts the sooner we can get back to camp. Got it?" Tempest momentarily closed his eyes as a long sigh escaped him. He opened his eyes once more and turned his head to watch as Lasher moved ahead of him. He then turned and started to follow. He could hear Lasher's harsh breathing from his nostrils. For some reason, Lasher believed that he could smell anything beyond all the snow and ice. Though, before he could question him about it the shift in Lasher's shoulders had caught his attention instead. "Well, snare my 'arse' in a sling. You might get your wish after all..." Lasher remarked from over his shoulder and quickly bolted straight ahead into the thickness of the snow."What-?" Tempest started to question him but Lasher had already left.Oatis stumbled some before moving head next. He fumbled to unsheathe his sword and he was soon on the move. "W-Wait for us!"The hollers of battle could have been heard, but the snow was coming down in waves so thick that it was difficult for Tempest to really see. His hands clutched tighter at his forearms, shivering and trying to keep the chill from reaching any further to his bones. Taking in bigger gulps of air, Tempest started to run to catch up to the two.The closer he had gotten, the louder the hollers were beginning to sound. If he squinted his eyes, Tempest could see Lasher and Oatis carving their way through a small army of Trevis slavers as if they were nothing. Oatis moved with power and ability that could stop and stun most of the ones that attempted to crowd around him. Lasher, on the other hand moved through each maneuver like liquid. He sliced their middles and clashed his sword enough times to send sparks. Keeping them clustered was their main strategy of course, so that when Tempest had the time to conjure a spell, it could have been done so easier.Tempest reached for the small knife in the notch of his belt, once he was close enough. He then took the blade into his hands and quickly sliced his hand deep so that his blood would be available faster. Tempest concentrated on his magical abilities to force the enemy they were facing to halt in their tracks. He was focusing on the spell 'Hemorrhage' and 'Blood Slave' in order to cause them a quick increase of pain and then to cause the enemy to turn on one another. The second spell would cause the enemy to attack each other. Though, with Lasher switching his mode into a Beserker's state of mind, it would have been a little difficult to keep him from destroying the help that Tempest acquired. When the carnage had ended, Oatis and Lasher had both been covered in the thick of blood from the force of battle. Lasher's eyes had been focused back towards the slaver he was fighting alongside. He raised his sword and started to charge towards him. Oatis started to panic, seeing Lasher charging towards him. Oatis hollered in confusion. Lasher hollered in hate.Suddenly the redhead reached out with his left and smacked it against Oatis's head. He used body for leverage as he leaped up into the air and flipped over the stubbier male. With his oppressing sword arm, Lasher swung his blade against the arrow that was aimed for the back of Oatis's head. Within the moment that he was landing in the snow field again, his control was still lost as well as his fighting. Lasher ended up slicing off the neck of one of the elf slaves that had tried to escape them.Tempest had looked back at all of the death in front of him once his blood magic had calmed down. The bodies that were once chopped and slain were still dangling as if awaiting any other commands after killing each other. Slowly, one by one the Trevis slavers began to fall back down into the snow, leaving a thick red stain the center of a beautifully porcelain white field. He shook his head some and looked towards where Lasher had landed in one of the snow covered hills. Clutching the wool covered cloak from around his shoulders, Tempest began to run towards that direction. "Lasher? Lasher!" He started to call to him just as Oatis started to come out of his own stupor of what had happened. The snow had probably been the feeling that triggered Lasher out of his moment of bloodlust. He was covered in the feeling of being wet and cold, after landing directly in a plush mountain of snow. The snow was hardly anything pleasant to have near the warmer parts of one's body either. One thing was for certain, Lasher was wide awake now and at least somewhat calmer than before."I'm fine." Lasher huffed from the hole of the snow he landed in. His teeth chattered until he felt hands reaching in to pull him out. Rolling out of Tempest's helping gestures, Lasher shrugged him away and started to walk in a circle before walking back towards the snow covered hill once again."I said I'm fine, blighter!" Lasher snapped between his teeth chattering and darted his gaze towards the hold. He quickly reached out and started to dig, pushing away clumps of snow quickly.Oatis looked towards Tempest for answer, but the mage just shook his head after looking from him and then towards the Reaver in front of them.Lasher dragged out what was left of the elf's body. It was a male, but the head was missing. That part didn't matter though. They all knew by the clothing that it was one of the elves that they were looking for. The redhead huffed some, staring down at the dead body and reached behind the back of his neck to push away his long hair to one side in an attempt to warm his hands from the freezing snow."Sodding, blighted, son of a nug-licking, piss-ant!" Lasher scowled angrily after realizing that he ended up going too far again. He kicked the dead body to end his frustrations, causing the spasms from the corpse to slowly move and squirt more blood onto the snow. Lasher shook his head once his eyes caught sight of the blood landing on his shoes. He reached down, grabbing the dead elf's clothes and lifted the body up to eye-level (if only the other had a head) and he started to scowl again."And you ruined my good boots!" The redhead straitened his back once more, once he started to tire out, and slammed the body back down into the snow. "Bloody knife ears...""He's dead." Oatis remarked the very late diagnosis."Shut up! You think I don't know that?" Lasher snapped quickly back at Oatis and then walked away.Again, Oatis had looked towards Tempest for some form of guidance as if somehow Tempest would have known the other man better. However, Tempest had only been helpful in battle to him a couple of times. He really didn't know anyone out here, so all he could give in full-confidence was a shrug.Lasher returned from the other side of the hill, dragging along with him a young male that was still in cuffs and chains. The man was covered with a heavy bear skin over himself until Lasher had pulled harder at the chains, bringing the smaller man's body down into the snow. The redhead's grip on the chains had tightened until his knuckles had turned white. He looked down at the elf while trying to keep himself from abusing another."Found the other one." Lasher finally announced and then focused back to the elf, lifting up the bear skin to reveal an elf with short curly brown hair and green eyes. He sneered some at the fear and hate he was receiving in return. "...And just where do you think you were off to?""Hunter Fell?" Oatis questioned from behind as he and Tempest had started to approach."Cumberland." Lasher corrected and leaned down to grasp the elf boy up by his dailish attire and straighten him forcefully back to his feet. "Grey Wardens. No help slaves. Help , is none.""You really think he can't speak our language?" Tempest glanced towards the elf with a bit of sympathy, but he knew better than to act upon it even now."He's dailish. If he knows our language, it's probably small words." Lasher scoffed and pulled the chains in short tugs to give the boy signals for him start walking again. "They have a huge hatred for humans so I doubt they'd ever care to fluently learn anything we speak..."Tempest glanced down from watching as Lasher started to take the lead back towards the camp. "But the city elves-""Are no bloody different! You need to stop trying to sugar-coat the captives. You're making our work harder than it has to be." Lasher finished bluntly while putting his sword away in its sheath. "Trust me, if you don't put your foot down quick enough, these bloody things won't think twice about scalping you. I've seen it."Tempest had to bite his tongue on that statement. He had yet to ever see an elf who didn't hate Magisters, Nobles, or just even plain humans who had no magic. Of course, in retrospect, he clearly saw they had every reason to despise them. Tempest found himself somewhat stuck in the middle of these topics a lot, because he has witnessed violence from both sides by now, and still he couldn't fully act in one favor over the other."Let's get back to the camp. I'm freezing my nips off." Lasher called to Oatis and Tempest before heading onward, tugging lightly at the elf's chain to make him continue to walk.

1.) roleplaying. I am a multi para writer. Meaning, give me 3-4 paragraphs. I myself get busy and lazy once in awhile so I will accept 1-2 paragraphs. Quality is better than quantity. Lets just not get to crazy. I WON'T accept one liners. BIG NO NO! I won't even reply back to those. 2.) drama. I love drama in roleplayer but won't stand for it in ooc. It's not necessary and is childish. I'am a very nice person in rl so let's all get along. 3.) storyline. Id love to discuss one and am open to anything.   4.) RealLife. I have one and I also have a thing called a job. There will be times where you may see me on, and not replying. Meaning, I may be just to damn tired to reply. When I reply, I like to give my best. I know its hard and I myself am lacking in it, but give me patience and I will do the same.5.) Relationship. Kennedy is single. She will stay that way for awhile. Until the right guy comes around. When she is in a relationship, she will not cheat and will be 100% committed. She would expect the same. When and if the right guy comes around, I want it to happen naturally.6.) This is more of an FYI.  I may play a teen, but I am over 18. So there will be mature themed content. Drugs, booze, cussing. Even sex, but Kennedy is a virgin.  Got to have some innocence. Hehe. Up for the challenge of taking her v-card? We're see. :)   ~~Comment with your name and your favorite television show, so I know you have read.~~ Example: I, Kennedy Shepherd have read and will follow. Burn Notice.

His alcoholic father died when Steve was a child, and his mother passed away from pneumonia after he graduated high school. In early 1940, appalled at Nazi Germany's horrific atrocities, Steve attempted to enlist in the army that rejected him because of his frailty and sickness. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea to fight for his country, General Chester Phillips of the US Army offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a top-secret performance-enhancing experiment called Operation Rebirth. Rogers agreed and was taken to a secret laboratory in Washington, DC, where he was introduced to Doctor Abraham Erskine (code named Professor Joseph Reinstein), the creator of the Super-Soldier Serum. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Soldier Serum. Given part of the compound intravenously and another part orally, Rogers was then bombarded by vita-rays, a special combination of exotic (in 1941) wavelengths of radiation designed to accelerate and stabilize the serum's effect on his body. Steve Rogers emerged from the vita-ray chamber with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. A Nazi spy who observed the experiment murdered Erskine mere minutes after its conclusion. Erskine died without fully committing the Super-Soldier formula to paper, leaving Steve Rogers the sole beneficiary of his genius. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program that taught him gymnastics, hand-to-hand combat from Colonel Rex Applegate and William Essart Fairbairn, and military strategy. Three months later, he was given his first assignment: to stop the Nazi agent called the Red Skull. To help him become a symbolic counterpart to the Red Skull, Rogers was given the red, white, and blue costume of Captain America. He was given the cover identity of a clumsy infantry private at Camp Lehigh. After successfully becoming Captain America, Rogers was later submitted to an experimental mind conditioning program that conditioned his mind to accept false information in the chance he was captured by the enemy and forced to reveal classified information. As part of the conditioning, Rogers believed his real name to be Grant Rogers. He believed that he had a brother, and that due to his parents being diplomats, he had a casual upper class appointment to the Army and Captain America position. It would not be until far later in life that Rogers would recall the conditioning and his true history. Rogers was originally issued a traditionally-shaped "kite" shield made of mundane steel, as well as a sidearm. His original helmet served as a mask and was separate from the rest of his costume. This proved a problem as in one early outing it was nearly knocked from his face via the hard wing emblems, almost revealing his identity to an attending newspaper reporter with camera. Adding a protective neck plating hood to his costume, rather than his separate mask, solved this problem and afforded Rogers more protection. President Roosevelt presented him with his now-legendary disc-shaped shield. Discovering that its excellent aerodynamic properties made it an effective offensive weapon, Rogers abandoned his sidearm. During the war, "Cap" served as both a symbol of freedom and America's most effective special operative. In addition to working with his young sidekick Bucky, he regularly fought alongside other Allied super-powered heroes such as Namor the Sub-Mariner and the android Human Torch who were the recognized core of the World War II super-team known as the Invaders. He sometimes came into contact with a Canadian paratrooper named Jim Howlett, the man who would come to be known as Wolverine. Then, during the final days of the war, on or before April 18, 1945, He was trying to stop a bomb-loaded drone-plane launched by Baron Heinrich Zemo when the plane exploded, apparently killing his partner Bucky and throwing Rogers unhurt into icy Arctic waters. The Super-Soldier Formula prevented crystallization of Captain America's bodily fluid, allowing him to enter a state of suspended animation. Although he and Bucky had seemingly perished, the war still raged on. U.S. presidents and the government picked different volunteers such as William Naslund (the Spirit of '76), Patriot (Jeffrey Mace), and Steve Rogers II who became the Cap of the 1950s and later Grand Director, over the years to keep the morale alive, even after World War II ended. Decades later, Rogers' wartime comrade the Sub-Mariner stumbled across his still-frozen form, which was being worshiped by a far-flung Inuit tribe. Enraged, the Sub-Mariner threw the ice block into the ocean. While opposing Namor, the newly-formed Avengers happened upon Rogers' thawing body. They soon revived the legendary hero. Needing to adjust to the world he found himself in, Rogers joined their ranks as the first recruit since their formation, and was given retroactive "founding member" status in place of the Hulk. Despite his lack of superhuman abilities, his extensive training and combat experience, combined with his impressive physique, confidence, and will, made him an excellent addition to the team. As a born leader, Rogers would come to be seen as the heart and soul of the team, and his commands while in the field were often looked to, regardless of who might have been chairman at the time. Rogers would teach teamwork, tactics, and hand-to-hand combat to many later Avengers. Following another battle with Kang the Conqueror, the remaining founding Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Giant-Man and The Wasp) decided to take a leave of absence from the stress of super-crime-fighting. Captain America was thus left to lead a new team comprised of Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. "Cap's Kooky Quartet" was at first regarded as less able than the previous lineup, but soon proved their worth by overcoming several threats including a resurgent Kang as well as Doctor Doom. While the hot-headed Quicksilver and Hawkeye were at first headstrong loose cannons, Rogers' leadership was able to mold them into valuable team members. Rogers often crossed paths with another World War II veteran and ally, Sergeant Fury of the Howling Commandos was now Colonel Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Captain America teamed with Fury many times after emerging from suspended animation. Rogers and Fury's relationship has warmed and cooled over the years, depending on various circumstances, but they often work together and towards the same ends, and the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. maintained a close working relationship, even sharing a common computer database. Rogers worked with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Agent 13, Sharon Carter, a sister to Peggy Carter (an American who had joined the French Resistance in WWII, and who had fallen in love with Captain America) with whom he would come to share a deep romantic relationship eventually admitting his love for her. Over the years Rogers would abandon his Captain America identity and reassume it various times. Between abandoning and reassuming he took up several new aliases such as Nomad, Sentinel of Liberty and The Captain. Another one of his aliases was Brett Hendrick, an alias he had assumed after SHIELD suggested the Superhuman Registration Act(SHRA). Rogers refused to help enforce it and became the leader of the resistance to the registration act, fearing that the freedom of America's heroes and the safety of their families were in danger. The super-hero community was divided in two, with Rogers leading the resistance and Stark leading the pro-registration team, resulting in a face off between the two and a 'Civil War' in the community. During the civil war's final battle, Rogers' forces were on the verge of victory. However, a crowd of civilians approached in support of Stark. Realizing that his fight against the registration act was endangering the people that he was trying to protect, he surrendered to Iron Man. He then gave his followers the order to stand down. Following his arrest, a scheme orchestrated by the Red Skull, Arnim Zola, Dr. Faustus and others culminated with Cap's assassination by a brainwashed Sharon Carter, who shot him at point-blank range. While the world believed Captain America had been killed, the shot fired by Sharon actually flung him out of sync with time, causing him to relive moments from his past. While Cap was believed dead, Bucky assumed the guise of Captain America. The Red Skull finally engineered his master plan to bring Cap back to the present, but with his mind controlling Cap's body; however, Rogers defeated the Red Skull within his mind and drove him from his body. Finding Bucky had adjusted to his new role, Rogers encouraged him to continue as Captain America, though Rogers briefly resumed his role as Cap to lead the Avengers against Norman Osborn, the insane arch-criminal given charge of his own "Avengers" and the Initiative, the USA's superhuman task force, after playing on public perception of himself. During Osborn's siege against the Asgardians, Cap's forces publicly defeated him and exposed him as a dangerous madman. Rogers accepted the president's offer to replace Osborn as the new executive in charge of America's super-heroes. Powers & Abilities Captain America doesn't have superhuman powers, unlike most popular superheroes. But the Super-Soldier Serum increased his body to the physical maximum. He literally has the max abilities it's possible to have and not be a superhuman. He is as intelligent, fast, durable, strong, and agile as any human could be. He could win every contest in the Olympics, weightlifting to racing. He has run a mile in roughly a minute and bench-pressed 1200 pounds. A major part is that the serum prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles. This means he effectively never tires, so he can do such extraordinary feats and fight for such a long time. This also means he cannot become intoxicated and is immune to many diseases. The serum is constantly being replenished by his body. Cap is a master of many martial arts, and he has his own style melding jiu jitsu, boxing, judo, karate, pressure points, his amazing body and his shield. It is extraordinarily effective. His perception, along with his reflexes and senses, have also been enhanced by the Super-Solider Serum. Captain America is one of few who can lift Thor's mighty hammer Mjolnir! Captain America's shield is laced with Vibranium and an experimental iron alloy mixed with an unknown catalyst. Cap is a great leader, field commander, and tactician. He led the Avengers for a long time, and his great experience makes him great on the battlefield. He gives orders like a sergeant. He also creates the plans for the Avengers, and has a great fighting spirit. All this means he regularly defeats enemies much stronger then him and can go toe-to-toe with foes as powerful as Spider-Man. Captain America uses a circular shield, shaped like a discus. It was created by serendipity as a melding of Vibranium, titanium, and an unknown substance. This means it is literally indestructible. It has only been damaged by altering reality itself by things like the Infinity Gauntlet. Years of practice with his indestructible shield make it practically an extension of his own body, and he is able to aim and throw it with amazing accuracy. His skill with his shield is so extensive that he can attack multiple targets with a single throw by use of ricochets or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind, then return to him. His uniform is fire-retardant and he has lightweight "chain mail" beneath it for more protection. The latest addition to Captain America's arsenal is the handgun. By this choice of weapon, it can be seen that Bucky Barnes travels a very different path from Steve Rogers. He has so far used his gun to disable some villains through some expert and wince-inducing shots to the legs, but he has yet to shoot to kill. In his new role as Top Cop of America, Captain Rogers also utilizes a handgun, along with many other assorted gadgets in place of his shield. Weapons & Paraphernalia Equipment: - Uniform: Cap's fire-retardant costume incorporated Kevlar body armor as well as a chain-mail shirt composed of light-weight "duralumin." - Utility Belt: Cap had often worn a utility belt containing mission-specific equipment. Formerly Avengers Identicard. Also, Cap briefly wore an exoskeleton specially designed by Iron Man and Hank Pym while suffering a breakdown of the Super Soldier Serum. Transportation: Captain America regularly used both a high-performance motorcycle and a van. As an Avenger he traveled via Quinjet or Sky-Cycle. Furthermore, he often traveled aboard SHIELD or military vehicles while on assignment. Weapons: Vibranium iron shield. Formerly: A photonic shield that could redirect kinetic energy, emit energy blasts, and morph into a staff. He also used small throwing disks, various equipment such as concussion bombs, grapples that morphed from spheres, a grapple-hook gun, various other substitute shields, firearms during wartime, and an exo-armor that enabled flight, superhuman strength, speed and protection from all types of assault and miniature exploding rockets that could be fired from the gauntlets. Captain America's Shield was his primary, and usually only weapon. A concave disk about 2.5 feet in diameter, weighing 12 pounds, it was made of a unique Vibranium-Steel alloy that had never been duplicated. The Shield was cast by American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain, who was contracted by the U.S. government to create an impenetrable substance to use for tanks during World War II. During his experiments, MacLain combined Vibranium with a steel alloy he was working with and an unknown catalyst, creating the disc-shaped shield. MacLain was never able to duplicate the process due to his inability to identify the still-unknown factor that played a role in it; however attempts to reverse engineer its composition resulted in the development of adamantium. The shield was issued to Captain America by the government several months after the beginning of his career. The shield had great aerodynamic properties: it was able to slice through the air with minimal wind resistance and deflection of path. Its great overall resilience, combined with its natural concentric stiffness, enabled it to rebound from objects with minimal loss of angular momentum. It was virtually indestructible: it was resistant to penetration, temperature extremes, and the entire electromagnetic spectrum of radiation. The only way it could be damaged in any way is by tampering with its molecular bonding. Known Profiles

Details Name: Kara Zor-L Aliases: Karen Starr, Karen Steele, Supergirl, Andromeda, Nightwing, P.G. Height: 5'11" Weight: 180lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Blond Citizenship: American P.O.B.: Kandor, KryptonP.O.R.: New York, New York Occupation: Adventurer, Owner and C.E.O. of Starrware IndustriesKnown Relatives: Zor-L {Father, deceased}, Alura In-Z {Mother, deceased}, Jor-L {Uncle, deceased}, Lora {Aunt, deceased}, In-Ze {Grandfather, deceased}, Kal-L {First cousin/"uncle", deceased}, Lois Lane-Kent {Wife of cousin/"aunt", deceased} Group Affiliation: Justice Society of America, Formerly Justice League Europe, Infinity, Inc., Sovereign Seven, Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad, League of Titans Starr, Karen Power Girl is the Earth-Two counterpart of the Kryptonian Supergirl and first cousin to Kal-L, the Superman of Earth-Two. Possessing her cousin's superhuman strength and ability to fly, she took his place in the Justice Society of America after he entered into semi-retirement to focus on his personal life. Kara-L has since been recognized as an important member of the JSA. After the events of the Crisis on Infinite Earths and the merging of Earth-Two into New Earth, Kara's background was completely altered. The reality wave that eliminated the Krypton of the Earth-Two dimension changed her into the descendant of the Atlantean sorcerer Arion, having been frozen in suspended animation for millennia until the present day. This was later revealed to be a deception, and Kara's true Earth-Two heritage was revealed to her during the "Infinite Crisis". After discovering Krypton was about to explode, Kara's father Zor-L launched her as an infant to Earth in a ship at the same time that Kal-L's ship was launched. However, Kara's ship took a much longer journey, resulting in her arriving on Earth decades after her cousin. According to Kara, the trip took 60 years to finish. Unlike Kal-L's ship which was designed for fast travel, Kara's "Symbioship" was designed to hold Kara in stasis during her development through the prolonged voyage. In addition, the ship's artificial intelligence had the life experiences and education of a Kryptonian in the form of a virtual reality program wherein she could interact with life-like copies of her parents and fellow Kryptonians. When she landed on Earth, Kara was the age of an adult woman in her early twenties. Power Girl's existence was not revealed to the general public until years after her arrival on Earth-Two. Her cousin Clark and his wife Lois provided her a family environment to assist her transition toward real life relationships. She came to regard her cousin and his wife as her "uncle" and "aunt" for raising her on Earth-Two despite being cousins by blood and marriage. Lane-Kent stated that they regarded her as their daughter. In her first recorded case, Kara assisted Justice Society members Flash and Wildcat in containing an artificially induced volcano that had erupted in Peking, China. She then joined them and other young heroes Robin and Star-Spangled Kid to form a Super Squad, along with active members of the Justice Society, to defeat Brain Wave and Per Degaton's scheme for world domination. Later, she was granted full membership when she took over Superman's vacated spot on the team roster. Having been raised by the Symbioship with artificial Kryptonian life experiences, Power Girl had trouble fitting into life on Earth, but with the help of reporter Andrew Vinson, she eventually adopted the secret identity of computer programmer Karen Starr. She developed her knowledge in this field from treatment under Wonder Woman's purple ray on Paradise Island. She never wore a mask or other disguise between her two identities and, at some point, her identity would be revealed to the public. During this time, Kara developed a close friendship with Helena Wayne, the daughter of the Earth-Two Batman and Catwoman. After the Justice Society disbanded, Power Girl joined the Justice League. Later, while a member of Justice League Europe, she was badly injured by a mystical being. Superman assisted in her medical treatment, using his heat-vision to perform surgery on her otherwise-invulnerable tissues. Although she recovered, she was significantly weaker, lost all of her vision powers, and temporarily lost her ability to fly. During Zero Hour, she was mysteriously impregnated. She gave birth to a son, Equinox, who aged rapidly through artificial means. He later disappeared, never to be heard from again. Power Girl was recruited to be one of Oracle's first field agents. Their short-lived partnership ended in failure after a disastrous mission that resulted in a large loss of life. Power Girl believed that bad orders from Oracle were to blame for the tragedy and disliked Oracle intensely as a result (although she has worked with her again on a few occasions when needed). During the events of Infinite Crisis, Power Girl was shocked to learn from Arion that her Atlantean origin was a lie. The story was crafted for her own protection, and was created by her foster mother, Lois Lane. The Psycho-Pirate showed Kara multiple origins in an effort to drive her insane, but eventually revealed that her Kryptonian origin was her true origin. Power Girl was not only a survivor of Krypton, she was also a survivor of the entire Earth-Two universe. It is still unclear why she survived the Crisis retaining her pre-Crisis origin, when other Earth-Two figures, such as Jay Garrick and Alan Scott, did not. Kal-L himself returned to the mainstream universe after breaking down the walls of the paradise dimension in which he, Lois Lane-Kent, Alexander Luthor, Jr., and Superboy-Prime had been living since the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Appalled by the rapidly-deteriorating state of affairs on the contemporary Earth, their goal was to replace the post-Crisis planet with a recreated Earth-Two. Kal-L's first order of business was to track down Power Girl and explain the events of the original Crisis to her. He also reiterated her pre-Crisis history as his cousin. A touch from the ailing Lois Lane-Kent inexplicably restored Power Girl's memories of Earth-Two. Soon after this revelation, she was confronted by Superboy-Prime, who rendered her unconscious. In her sleep, she was attached to a "tuning fork," a device controlled by Alex Luthor, who intended to use the device to bring back the multiple Earths. Alexander Luthor, Jr. and Psycho Pirate coerced Black Adam (who was also attached to the machine) into saying "SHAZAM!," and used the now-raw magical energy to power the tower. After the recreation of a duplicate Earth-Two, everyone associated with that Earth was subsequently transported to it. However, Power Girl would remain on the core Earth reality because of her proximity to the tower. After arriving on the recreated Earth-Two, Lois Kent collapsed and died. This led to a violent confrontation between the two Supermen, at the end of which, Kal-L came to the realization that the recreated Earth-Two had not been a "perfect world" because "a perfect earth doesn't need a Superman."Kara was freed by Wonder Girl and Kon-El and joined them in fighting Superboy-Prime and Alexander Luthor, Jr.. During the savage battle on Mogo between Superboy-Prime and the two Supermen, Kal-L was killed. Power Girl arrived on Mogo with the Green Lantern Corps just in time to bid a tearful farewell to her dying cousin. Kara's recognized history as an Earth-Two being was re-established as her natural state. How she continued as an Earth-Two dimensional being despite everyone else from the same original Earth-Two dimension being destroyed and reformatted to current Earth natives has NOT been specifically clarified. She has been retconned into being powered by yellow sun radiation, as was her cousin, Kal-L, in Infinite Crisis, where flying through a red sun depowered him. To further complicate the matter of her basis and identity, Kara is now to have been raised as the cousin of the current Superman and living with the current Kent Family and inspired by her cousin to join the Justice Society as done by Kal-L in the Earth-Two dimension where her cousin Kal-L was training her and announced her superhero appearance. Currently Kara remembers living through both histories. Power Girl was shown to have been working under the guise of Nightwing in the dimensionally separated Kryptonian city of New Kandor. Kara-L was working alongside her dimensional counterpart, Supergirl, who had adopted the alias of Flamebird while on New Kandor. When they left New Kandor, Kara-L and Supergirl had revealed that the supporter of the cult of the Saturn Queen was not the Primary Earth Superman but Ultraman operating under the guise of Superman's identity. After exposing Ultraman, Supergirl decided to leave New Kandor. Power Girl wanted to stay and overthrow them completely. Supergirl dragged Power Girl out of New Kandor, which led to a strain between the two. Power Girl went on to help re-form the current roster of the Justice Society of America, where she was elected Chairperson of the team. Currently she is helping the Earth-22 Superman adjust to life on New Earth and coming to grips with the death of her cousin Kal-L. When confronting the super-being known as Gog, Power Girl was sent to the parallel Earth known as Earth-2 as part of Gog's understanding of "sending her home." Thinking she had somehow returned to her home reality of Earth-Two, she sought to adapt to life there with the counterparts to her long dead (and historically erased) friends. But she noticed several major differences to her own reality in the form of Helena Wayne, who was going to murder the Earth-2 Joker. Kara took the brunt of the Joker's electrical attack, preventing Helena from actually doing the deed and saving Helena from making a terrible mistake. However, Helena immediately sided with the long missing Earth-2 Power Girl who brutalized Kara Zor-L. Escaping, Power Girl defeated her crazed doppelganger from Earth-2 before being felled by a mental attack from Brainwave Jr., who revealed to the JSI that the two Power Girls were in fact the same person up to a point. The coming of the JSA with Starman, eased the situation, and the JSA took their leave of Earth-2 with their Power Girl in tow. Starman revealed to Stargirl that the JSI would play a significant role in Power Girl's future. Power Girl was trying to avoid fighting her unbalanced Earth-2 counterpart and her associates of the Justice Society Infinity as she sought to return to her adopted reality and friends. Once back in the New Earth reality, Power Girl resumed her position as leader of the JSA. She also began devoting more time to her old R&D firm, Starrware Labs. She has since resigned as leader of the full JSA team and has formed a subset team known as the JSA All Stars which she leads composed of the younger members of the full JSA team including Magog. Kara was recently fighting against her resurrected "aunt" Black Lantern Lois Lane-Kent of Pre Crisis Earth-Two, who is seeking to kill the New Earth Martha Kent and Lois Lane-Kent and uncle Kal-L. She was instrumental in completely destroying Kal-L's corpse so it could not ever again be used as a weapon in the future as it was by Necron. Though that destruction also meant Kal-L's body was forever destroyed and not returned to its grave on New Earth. Powers & Abilities As a Kryptonian of the Earth-Two universe, Power Girl has all the powers of the Pre-Crisis Superman. She possesses great superhuman strength, speed, flight and invulnerability. She also has super senses, heat vision, X-ray vision, and freezing breath. When Supergirl of Earth-One arrived, the powers of the two women seemed to go haywire whenever they touched each other. They battled briefly and appeared to be evenly matched. Power Girl has the same Kryptonite weakness as Superman, except that she is immune to certain types of Kryptonite. The reason for this is because she is from Earth-Two. It was revealed in Infinite Crisis that she and other Earth-Two Kryptonians could only be affected by Kryptonite from Earth-Two and not Earth-One. Like Superman, Power Girl is also vulnerable to magical and psionic attacks. Weapons & Paraphernalia N/A Known Profiles

Jemini's repair bay (Meggie's sparkling appointment)
Current mood:  blessed

*The always busy medic femme was in rare form and high spirits, not only was she seeing her best friend for the first time in quite awhile but she was also going to be taking a peek at the little one Meggie was carrying. No matter how many times Jemini saw sparklings at this stage it was always amazing to her, although worried when meggie warned her that the sparkling was not developing as quickly as it should, she knew she would find out the reason and be able to help the little one along on it's journey into life. Jemini had made sure earlier that morning to be completely set up for Meggie's arrival, she paced a bit as her cpu went over the possible reasons for the small size of the sparkling while she waited for Meggie and Sunstorm and anyone else who they might bring along, to get there*
