Contrary to what the tabloids wanted people to believe about Amy, beneath that beehive that works as her security blanket, is a tough woman. A hard shell, with soft insides. Outside of her persona, her real self craves to love and be loved. Her fame was unexpected.While Amy did have childhood dreams of fame and her time spent at Sylvia Young's theater school normalized the idea for its students, she wasn't ambitious. All day she would spend in her stepdad's basement, playing guitar, singing, and smoking weed. Her best friend, Tyler James, knew she was immensely talented. Hearing her unique raspy contralto vocals resulted in their friendship. She was a proper jazz scholar with a powerful self-trained voice that the world needed to hear. He tried to start a career of his own, but was convinced that the promoters wanted a female talent. James knew exactly who would fit that bill. Tyler tried for several months to convince Amy to send in a demo tape. In time, she gave in and recorded one. She caught the attention of big music promoter and creator of the Idols TV format; Simon Fuller. By the time she was 18, she was offered a contract by Island Records. The rest is history.Unsure how to handle superstardom, she does her best to adjust. She is not materialistic or uptight, easy to please. Her crude sense of humor holds little boundaries. No matter the mood, she finds the time to crack a joke or two to lighten everyone else.Amy can be brutally honest with little thought of the feelings of others, but is a very loyal friend who would give you the jacket off her back.Since she did not return to Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy continues to show little to no interest in class-A drugs such as crack or heroin. Not to talk it out with someone. Smoking marijuana and listening to The Beatles helped keep her sane in her mid-teens. Longing for her absent father since the age of nine and recovering from a traumatic event, a bit too much happened early in her life that resulted in her becoming a turbulent woman.Amy has been a sufferer of low self-esteem and eating disorders since she was a teenager. She indulged in self-harm by slashing her arms (sometimes her chest), a bad habit that worsened when fame entered her life and many judged her from head to toe. She had been called ugly so many times she started to believe and accept it. Her bulimia became anorexia, so Amy dropped a lot of weight and felt a bit satisfied with her body.

Two continents separated by an ocean and believing themselves to be civilization on the entire planet collide when the prophecy of the White Frost drives Geralt, Cirilla, Yennefer, Triss, Tissaia and all the other prominent residents of the Continent to take a portal into the unknown in hopes of their own salvation only to discover an equally powerful, wintery threat in their landing place; Westeros, and it could be connected to the White Frost that is on the brink of destroying their home.

   Highland Park (3/8) - $  Right outside of Downtown, Highland Park is an up and coming neighborhood. This neighborhood is one of the most easily accessible. Older homes and trailers litter the area. As  much as the higher ups of Eldridge want the crime and drugs to stop, it hasn’t happened in the last forty years and will likely never change, despite their best efforts to clean it up. It’s mostly harmless, just make sure your doors and windows are locked any time you’re leaving or asleep.     Downtown (6/8) - $$  Downtown has taken a long time to get their name in “nice to live” places. Regardless of the price, the apartments above the businesses are something to die for. Lofted, open concept. Enough for a family, or if you're on your own. The town has taken lots of funds to make these apartment and condos more liveable. You’re a walk away from the town to the lakes to the woods -  a truly diverse place to live, where you can easily make your home.     Aurora Village (2/8) - $$$  Set closer to the woods, Aurora Village is perfect for growing families. The suburban style homes may be close together, but with the woods spacing them out - you’d never know you had any neighbors. Tranquility and quiet were on the minds of the owners of this neighborhood. Privacy and space, but not too far from your friends. Regardless of if you’re living here, you’re right in the hustle and bustle of town, with it being only about a five minute drive, so you always know whats happening in Eldridge.    Crescent Lake (4/6) - $$$$$  By far the most stunning neighborhood in the town. Front yards are beautiful, with nicely sized backyards with the stunning Crescent lake to spend your afternoons. Right on the water, these residents enjoy the surreal beauty, sitting right on the lake.This peaceful neighborhood was once home to Samuel Eldridge, the love of the town. Some people say they can still see him in the waters of Crescent lake, something that they wished they could still see to this day.

Mature Themes Eldridge is a mature group, meaning any character within the area code needs to be 21 and older. This isn’t for the faint of heart. Crime, death, drugs and other adult related things will be prevalent in the main storyline. We want the inner darkness in all of you to come out when making your characters and writing them. Don’t hold yourself back.Activity Most activity will be based on Discord. Profile pages and an active discord are required. All writing will be documented via Discord.  If you’ve read this far please tell us your favorite song on question 3 in the audition form. Writing is welcome on the site and on Discord, whatever you’re more comfortable with. Weekly you are required to use the blast with four replies minimum. Anything extra will be counted for points! You aren’t required to write with everyone (though it is encouraged to have a storyline with everyone so that you know how to interact appropriately!) but you are required to have four active storylines that you are replying to within two weeks. Activity checks will be sent out weekly - they will range from storyline based reaction drabbles, writing, muse posts etc.InclusivityWe want all of our members to feel welcome and like Eldridge is a place they can call home. We get that we all have busy lives but please don’t blatantly ignore members who reach out to you. If you feel like you’re being ignored, please let us know so that we can get to the bottom of it.   Point System We do have an active point system that we will be using to track activity. In order to maintain your spot in Eldritch, you will be required to make  80 points per month. We have a grid that you will be shown once you’ve joined.   OOC and Drama This is our personal favorite rule. Somewhere at some time, we’ve all met each other. We all know each other, and maybe in the past we had hard feelings about one another. Drama that is NOT storyline based will not be tolerated. Let bygones be bygones and make it work, somehow. We do not expect you to be best friends with everyone, but we require civility out of character and a basic connection with everyone. Make up all of the drama in character that you want.  Life  Changes As far as life changes (ie: marriage, pregnancy, whatever) go, we know that things such as these are usually never planned, with engagements - please wait at least six weeks before you pop the question. All you have to do is message the admins and ask for the change. You may join married or engaged to your significant other, be sure to add your writing partner’s name so we are aware. As for pregnancies - this will be a case by case situation. We do not want more kids than adults in this group, so you may just have to wait your turn for a crotch goblin. We will also limit the times that they are in events. 1. Verses:This server is specifically for medieval, Renaissance fantasy verses. We do also allow in verse original characters as well.2. Environment:Our requirements are simple: One Starter/Reply, Group storyline post, or Drabble worth 300 words per month, or a Character Study or Headcanon worth 50 or more per muse.3. Interaction and Mediation:Be respectful to everyone. Be mindful of tone through text, sometimes it can be misunderstood. I'm not going to use the age old "drama won't be tolerated", it loses its impact the more it is said and it isn't necessarily realistic or precise enough. What I will say instead is that we expect everyone to conduct themselves with maturity and consideration for others, and there will be consequences for any arguing, gossiping, trolling, bullying, etc. However, we also understand that conflict is part of the human condition, its bound to happen and can be resolved or dealt with pretty easily. We are expert mediators. If there's an issue between you and another writer in the server, see our Admins. Someone should be able to help resolve it or offer a solution that doesn't cause further issues in the server. We believe in fairness in resolving conflict. If you see someone causing strife in the server and an admin doesn't act immediately, tag them and someone will handle it right away.We follow the rule of Vegas in this RPG. What happens in this RPG, stays in this RPG. No gossiping about other writers or RPGs in the server. You never know who is friends with whom. No screenshotting anything in our Discord server and sending it to someone outside the server. No talking about what happens in this server with people outside of it.4. Chat Colors and Nicknames:In our Discord server, you will have the freedom to choose your own chat color and your own nickname. All that we ask is that the muse you are using in this server be your nickname. If you have more than one, you can pick whichever one you want to use and change muses at will provided they belong to the named verses.5. Muse(s):Yes we allow multiple muses. As many as you want, in the above named verses, just make sure you can keep up with all of them. However, for the first month, you will only be allowed one character. After you pass the first month, you can add another. Muses can be based on either the books or the show, we welcome both.6. RPGs:You may have a character that belongs to Art of War in other RPGs if you want, as long as you are keeping up with ACs and active in Art of War.7. Group Writing:We will periodically offer opportunities for group writing that will be organized and may not be like anything you have seen before (or maybe it is, who knows). Group writing is not mandatory but highly encouraged to help everyone connect with other writers.8. Faceclaims: We do currently accept mirror face claims because there is a smaller pool of faceclaims that work for the era in which the verses are set in. Faceclaims are limited 2 per character at a time. Face claims can only be changed once every three months per character. 9. Hiatuses: If you need a hiatus you can request that with Admins by asking to DM in the <#1229283068758589470> channel and ask them in private for a hiatus. One month at a time is allowed. We will assume you are coming off of your hiatus on the one month anniversary of your hiatus start date unless you speak to an Admin. If a hiatus goes on for more than two months, your membership will need to reevaluated. This is however a case by case basis. 10. Ships: We do not force ships. Every character and writer is free to follow their own romantic preferences despite how the shows and books worked out. Along with that, we do not allow any writer to push, force or harass another writer into a LI partnership in any form, even IC, even playfully. We respect the value of consent here. If someone says no or resists the idea, then that's your answer. On the same topic of ships we are also multi-ship friendly because of the nature of the verses we operate in. 11. Reserved Roles: Roles can be reserved at any time, even if you are new to the group. If you reserve a role while you are still within your first 30 days, you can pick it up after you complete your AC for the month, just check to make sure Admins know. To reserve a role, see our Discord server rules for steps. 12. Character Changes: You can change your character at any time, even within the first 30 days of membership. Just don't change them all the time. Also understand it is not the same as reserving a role or bringing in another character. When you change characters, you are dropping a character for another and the role you dropped will be open to other writers.13. Issues: If at any point, you have any issues or concerns, you don't have to just leave. The admins are willing to help you work through your issues, it isn't a burden to us. I, the owner, am pretty good at handling and understanding issues relating to conflict and mental health. I don't judge either. We want everyone to feel safe, comfortable and belong. Give us a chance to help you, and if by the end a resolution can't be reached that is satisfactory, you are free to leave, no hard feelings.
