The settlements are simple, the people almost as equally so. If it were not for the space ports that ferried supplies in and out you would think that you had found a civilization that had yet to reach for the stars. The only issue...these people prefered it that way. Technology had been discovered, used and then somewhat discarded by these people. Wanting more of a 'simple' life than one crowded by machines and computers which in a lot of cases had been used to replace the person. Thus thousands of years ago these people decided that would no longer be so. Turning their great cities upon themselves they left the civilized world and made their way to lands that had at the time yet been unclaimed. Building a simple life where each day was a pursuit to perfect through the individual. Creating a harmony filled with peace and prosperity.Then as it often does...the galaxy intervened with its problems, wars and heartbreak. Causing the inhabitants to question their own belief systems... could they have made a difference if they had remained the advanced civilization they had once been? Could their superior technology had maintained peace and prevented so much death? These questions divided them, caused a rebirth of technological idea and pursuit. Of course the soul of the people remained and found balance once more. Meaning that a small portion of the technology remained but so did the new lifestyle they had worked so hard to forge away from the rest of the galaxy. And this is where we find ourselves...a simple world that was not so simple at all. For all around hidden from view was a superior technology that most in the universe would not understand nor care to pay attention to. A smirk came across his scarred face as he lifted the wooden cup to his lips downing another of their local ales. He had been searching for this world for some time...databases were scarce in information and even scarcer on any mention of the people that lived here. That was why it had caught his eye though. A man who constantly pursued information and a search for enlightenment found a society that lived much like the Ancient race that had built the inter-dimensional gateways he and his empire had been using for the better part of twenty years. The connection was too good to be true he had originally thought, and then he arrived washing away his doubts. Letting his orange eyes move around the tavern he was in he looked at the people that sat about. Some were traders, most were the locals. At a glance they looked a lot like your standard farming planet simple folk. However through the force Rie could feel so much more. These people were well in tune with the force and beyond. More in tune with themselves then most Jedi masters ever reached. Here he had started his search for an ancient archive that was rumored to be here and hold the secrets of the Ancient Race that he had been studying for years...

RULES:Most important: this is a mature role-play-account (20 + in RL) and I expect you to behave like this! No drama, no childish jealousy, no pissing me off cause of some unimportant nonsense. I am a writer for fun and I don't see roleplay as a platform for lonely hearts. I'm from Germany my mother-tongue is German, but I love to and feel good enough to write in proper English, even if it may take me longer to create something in English than it would using my mother-tongue - so I expect you also to put the same effort into your writing and that you will not annoy me with lousy grammar, orthography or style, neither in German nor in English.Usually I'm a para-, multi-para- or novella-player, and my general lower limit is two paras/comments, but I'm not strictly against shorter replies - sometimes. It depends on the content of them - but NO one liners, please!Please, don't send me starters (except we have talked about an SL before): random starters usually bore me and I seldom feel inspired to reply. The character, Iroweth, is not the type of guy who would open up or even jump into your bed easily, if at all - so, if you want a guy to sleep with, look somewhere else - if at some point something like sex or romance occurs in the course of the RP, well, if it fits, it fits ;) Just to let you know: People who not talk to me (messages, comments (SLs) or at least statuses) will be deleted. There is no general rule how fast, nothing like "don't contact/response to me during the next 24 - 48 hours after being added and you are gone". But if you have been added or added me and recieved a message from me (and I mostly send "hello and welcome" or "hello and thank you for the add"  messages to everyone who is new) and I do not even get at least a "hello" back in an appropriate period of time you are gone. No warning ahead, just like that. I am not here to collect faces or numbers in my friendlist but to write. Regarding verses: This is a character from the Witcher-Universe. So people who want to play according to cannon are very welcome - but of course I am open for Crossover-Verses, too.I am pretty open minded and can see Iroweth in all kind of different settings: from all kinds of classical HighFantasy verses up to Urban-Fantasy verse set in modern times.(Bio can and will be adjusted accordingly)LotR-crossovers are particularly welcome! the puck is not one to follow rules.. but after dealing with some train wrecks i think i have to do thisOK 1. don't kill my character.. you can capture him, if you dare but you MUST release him after one wish, and you can not hurt him, it's only cold iron that can bring down the puck for real. poisoned orc arrows can only slow him down..  2. i would rather play with people 21 and up.. people who actually REMEMBER gargoyles  and or LOTR and NO SMUT NO SMUT NO SMUT stay away.. 3.  no love for puck  too many crazy people, he's not looking for that, puck has a huge heart but needs a break... rp is ROLEPLAYING  don't get attached to me, i'm actaully a prick in RL  you wouldn't like me ;P 4. i hate to say it, but any animie, stay away! there i said it.  5. have fun.. this is all a game  , make believe,   i have a tendency to attract psychos but i assure you it's all in good fun.. 6. no one can touch or kidnap my son robin i will go ballistic on ya ;)
