A warm smile crept its way onto Karen Starr's lips as she continued to listen to her daughter's voice for a moment. It was hard not to smile when her daughter was around. Destiny was always full of life and excitement it seemed, something she admired about her daughter. Karen looked around the large spacious room that was actually Destiny's work lab. She could see the stacks of luggage and it caused her to chuckle softly. She then turned her sapphire gaze toward her daughter, grinning. "I think you meant to sing you're leaving through a dimensional doorway, pumpkin," she teased her daughter. The chuckle alerted Destiny of her mother's presences, causing her to turn away from her work desk for a moment. "Haha! Very funny Mom...and I hope no matter how we travel you are ready to go! I was just finishing the calculations that would insure we end up on the right planet! All we need now is for Aunt Janet and my brother to arrive! Then we can begin the vacation of a lifetime. I'm so excited to finally be able to get to go on this trip... all four of us! And I packed every possible thing I would need," she informed her mother as she pointed to the mountain of luggage nearby. Karen looked at the mountain of luggage and then back at her daughter, smirking in amusement. "I think you packed everything but our kitchen sink. A-nd I would ask how you plan to bring all that but I already know the answer. Just be glad you can shrink all that luggage in your pockets or else we would never get out here," Karen teased her daughter.  "As for your Aunt Janet and you brother, they should be arriving at any moment. Then we should be able to be on our way," she informed her daughter as she moved closer to her daughter to give her a playful hug. "But until they do how about you give your mother a hug and let her double check those coordinates just to be on the safe side," she teased her daughter. Karen knew that Destiny was a genius in her own right. In fact she was sure that Destiny was smarter than her and her father at times but that fact never stopped Karen from being motherly or worrisome. Destiny found her mother's statement about all her luggage amusing, causing the young girl to smirk for a moment. "It never hurts to be prepared or to have what you might need! In fact maybe I should think about packing a few of these microscopes and oh! I almost forgot...." Destiny stopped in mid-sentence as she opened a drawer to take out a huge bag of sugar cubes. "We can't forget these or Daisy and Jack would be highly grumpy!" As soon as she said the names of their pet ants those very same ants came buzzing up in excitement. "I think we should test that those sugar cubes are fresh! I mean one could never be careful," Jack quipped in. Daisy shook her head before going to land on her owners shoulder. "The last thing we need is to give Jack any sugar before we go...though I wouldn't mind having one, Destiny!" Daisy nuzzled her owner neck then turned to flick one of her antennas playfully at Jack. Destiny's soft laughter filled the lab as she listened to both ants try to get a sugar cube. "I will give you both a sugar cube but let's wait till Henry gets here because I told him to bring his pet ant too!" Both ants nodded in understanding at her words, knowing they would just have to wait for their treat. But it didn't' matter to them...they were just excited as was Destiny and Karen to begin this vacation together.

Neo Death Eaters; Primarily pure-bloods, the Neo Death Eaters are lead by those that originally served Voldemort. Their goal? To create their ideal world. The NDE are placed in positions of power within institutions like the Ministry of Magic, not only in England but the MoM in other countries as well. The idea is to manipulate the public's ideals and eventually a Minister in power so that the segregation between magical blood, muggle-borns, and muggles will begin - legally. When not in the public eye, they are just as we remembered our lovely DE's to be - violent, blood thirsty, and generally always itching to prove their points. Within this faction, those who descend from a long line of DE's are more respected than others. Snatchers; Sometimes, our DE's are just too busy to bother with finding their own victims to torture. That's where the Snatcher's come in. They're not as prominent as they once were but enough to cause a bit of distress for anyone lost in the woods on they're own. It is for this reason that younger students are pushed to learn the patronus charm and is one of the few legal spells an underage wizard can perform and practice outside of Hogwarts. Lavender Brown; Yeah. She's alive in our arc because the book never specified that she died. Only that she was attacked by Greyback before Hermione saved her--implying that she was alive in that moment. The movie took liberties, like Luna/Neville. That's our story with Lavender and we're sticking to it. Trio Era in this RPG; Our Trio Era characters are adults. They're the ones that have to deal with the more serious matters starting out in the RPG. Like their jobs, family, and rumored dangers. They play a big part and once the NDE officially kick start their plans you can be sure the adults will have plenty to do. Original Characters; We accept them so long as they don't interfere with canon or arcs developed for current OC's in the group. What does that mean? No secret love child between Harry and Hermione for example. Or, no Draco/Pansy love child... yeah... our Astoria will fillet you alive for that attempt. She's not a 'nice' Astoria. xDRPM Accounts;   Since we are in the process of transferring FTP over to RPM, it is imperative that all members create and/or have RPM accounts.The Forum; Due to the fact that many people seem to dislike forums (though we still can't figure out exactly why), we are currently in the process of moving FTP over to RPM.  However since we are all irked by the fact that RPM blogs post out of sequence (backwards, as you all know), we are going to continue our group storylines in the forum.  DON'T LET THIS DETER YOU!  It's even easier than setting up an RPM account, we assure you.  Also if you're having trouble with it in any way, any owner or moderator is happy to help you get started - we've done so many a time.Quidditch; Our founding members love Quidditch. We do plan on incorporating it somewhere either with a few blogged games or a World Cup event. Dances/Balls; We will have them. We understand that there needs to be fun things in the RPG to do to counter all the serious and deadly stuff not many RPGs offer. Quitting/leaving/dropping; We won't be upset if you decide to leave the group - it happens; and no matter the reason for leaving, we will always respect a member's decision to leave. We only ask that you please notify us before you do so because by simply abandoning the account we are left at a purgatory--an in-between of either replacing you, cutting your character, or waiting it out a bit longer. We hate that. It's probably the only pet peeve we have. Just tell us. We won't cause a scene because you decided this wasn't for you; shit happens. Activity; The mods have lives, the members have lives. Sign on as much as you can but that doesn't mean we expect you to do replies every time you sign on.  Just check up on things and keep up with news. All it takes is a minute or two. Officially, the rule is you must sign on 2-3 times a month. Not bad and completely manageable. We're not demanding folk.  xDLastly, Please refrain from calling Professor Scrimgeour Professor Wiggy or Wiggy. Otherwise, like Roxanne Weasley, you will find yourself in a  lifetime of detentions.
