    Tequila.  Tequila is your typical bar that is trying to keep up with the masses. Settled in the heart of downtown - Tequila struggled against the developers to keep its doors open. The dive bar's patrons fought hard and started a petition to keep their favorite Friday night spot. In order to stick around, it was required to get a massive face lift. It houses a large dance floor, fully stocked bar, pool tables, tons of vibrant artwork, and a dj ready to play whatever the patrons are feeling that evening.      Raiders MC.   Founded in the 1940’s, by Azriel Fields the motorcycle club originally was just for brotherhood. As years went on, and eventually the club turned to crime. They all needed money, and chaos was how they got it. Arson, bank robbing. Azriel passed away and Rowan’s father Griffin took over the club. Of course the crime didn’t stop. For thirty years, Griffin ran Raiders with no issue.This was until the last year or so, when things got a little sketchy - he called Rowan to open  a chapter in Eldridge. Now as Rowan runs the club, he’s allowing the crime and chaos to continue on.     Stargazer Lake.   Stargazer Lake is the biggest summer spot in all of Eldridge where many of the wealthier families spend their summers in their vacation homes. Most residents take day trips to the lake to rent boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and any other equipment for all of your aquatic activity needs. The town hosts many events at the lake including bonfires and cookouts. We might be biased, but at night you have the most picture perfect view of the stars (Duh! How else would it have gotten its name?!) being as it’s far from the hustle and bustle of downtown. There’s no such thing as a bad time at the lake and there isn’t a single person in town who would turn down a day trip to be out on its beautiful waters.    Boxcar. Boxcar is the town's bar-cade. The business allows patrons under 21 until 8pm and then it is considered adults only. There are several classic arcade games, an entire room dedicated to pinball machines, a few bowling lanes, a menu to order appetizers from, and a fully stocked bar. On weekends they have live music on their large patio and on Sunday’s from 10am to 2pm they have bottomless mimosas. Boxcar loves their fur patrons as well, meaning they’re pet friendly! Four legged friends of all shapes and sizes can hang out with you here - as long as they are friendly and well behaved!!      The Boardwalk. The boardwalk is home to several different activities and is a staple in Eldridge. Here you can find several carnival rides, mini golf, games with prizes to be won, food trucks with any type of cuisine you could ask for, a tattoo shop, and various different touristy stores. Residents and guests both frequent this attraction, but it is the typical hang out for highschoolers. Many of the residents have a deep nostalgia for the boardwalk - having grown up there. During the summer the Mayor puts on a magnificent firework display every other week that you can see from here.       Bite Delite. Bite Delite is the oldest hangout in Eldridge - being founded in the 80’s. Residents typically have a self assigned booth they always sit at. This is a place where you and your server are on a first name basis. For being a diner style restaurant, the food is phenomenal. Normally, people are ordering from a long list of specialty burgers (they have burgers of the WEEK, crazy right?) but there are several different options to choose from. Chicken, Salads, Pasta? Bite Delite has it all! Don’t get us started on the milkshakes - they’re to die for.  Lucky Strike.The business that attracts the most tourist’s to Eldridge is Lucky Strike - a casino. Whether you want to try your hands at slots or the card tables, you’ll have your opportunity here. If gambling isn’t your thing, feel free to grab some food or hang out at the bar. We hear they’ve got some great refreshments! The younger of the two Eldridge brother’s owns the popular spot and has his security tight locked - don’t even think about trying to count cards here!            Bird Tree Cafe.Within the last fourty years, the bird tree cafe has offered the community of eldridge a place of solace. Whether you're looking for a bite to eat, a quiet place to read, or a night cap after your long work day - the bird tree cafe can meet those needs. Locally owned and operated, the bird tree cafe values community above all. The cafe often hosts an array of events open to the community, such as open mic nights, trivia nights, and much more. we hope to see you soon!

Contrary to what the tabloids wanted people to believe about Amy, beneath that beehive that works as her security blanket, is a tough woman. A hard shell, with soft insides. Outside of her persona, her real self craves to love and be loved. Her fame was unexpected.While Amy did have childhood dreams of fame and her time spent at Sylvia Young's theater school normalized the idea for its students, she wasn't ambitious. All day she would spend in her stepdad's basement, playing guitar, singing, and smoking weed. Her best friend, Tyler James, knew she was immensely talented. Hearing her unique raspy contralto vocals resulted in their friendship. She was a proper jazz scholar with a powerful self-trained voice that the world needed to hear. He tried to start a career of his own, but was convinced that the promoters wanted a female talent. James knew exactly who would fit that bill. Tyler tried for several months to convince Amy to send in a demo tape. In time, she gave in and recorded one. She caught the attention of big music promoter and creator of the Idols TV format; Simon Fuller. By the time she was 18, she was offered a contract by Island Records. The rest is history.Unsure how to handle superstardom, she does her best to adjust. She is not materialistic or uptight, easy to please. Her crude sense of humor holds little boundaries. Two continents separated by an ocean and believing themselves to be civilization on the entire planet collide when the prophecy of the White Frost drives Geralt, Cirilla, Yennefer, Triss, Tissaia and all the other prominent residents of the Continent to take a portal into the unknown in hopes of their own salvation only to discover an equally powerful, wintery threat in their landing place; Westeros, and it could be connected to the White Frost that is on the brink of destroying their home.

   Highland Park (3/8) - $  Right outside of Downtown, Highland Park is an up and coming neighborhood. This neighborhood is one of the most easily accessible. Older homes and trailers litter the area. As  much as the higher ups of Eldridge want the crime and drugs to stop, it hasn’t happened in the last forty years and will likely never change, despite their best efforts to clean it up. It’s mostly harmless, just make sure your doors and windows are locked any time you’re leaving or asleep.     Downtown (6/8) - $$  Downtown has taken a long time to get their name in “nice to live” places. Regardless of the price, the apartments above the businesses are something to die for. Lofted, open concept. Enough for a family, or if you're on your own. The town has taken lots of funds to make these apartment and condos more liveable. You’re a walk away from the town to the lakes to the woods -  a truly diverse place to live, where you can easily make your home.     Aurora Village (2/8) - $$$  Set closer to the woods, Aurora Village is perfect for growing families. The suburban style homes may be close together, but with the woods spacing them out - you’d never know you had any neighbors. Tranquility and quiet were on the minds of the owners of this neighborhood. Privacy and space, but not too far from your friends. Regardless of if you’re living here, you’re right in the hustle and bustle of town, with it being only about a five minute drive, so you always know whats happening in Eldridge.    Crescent Lake (4/6) - $$$$$  By far the most stunning neighborhood in the town. Front yards are beautiful, with nicely sized backyards with the stunning Crescent lake to spend your afternoons. Right on the water, these residents enjoy the surreal beauty, sitting right on the lake.This peaceful neighborhood was once home to Samuel Eldridge, the love of the town. Some people say they can still see him in the waters of Crescent lake, something that they wished they could still see to this day.

Mature Themes Eldridge is a mature group, meaning any character within the area code needs to be 21 and older. This isn’t for the faint of heart. Crime, death, drugs and other adult related things will be prevalent in the main storyline. We want the inner darkness in all of you to come out when making your characters and writing them. Don’t hold yourself back.Activity Most activity will be based on Discord. Profile pages and an active discord are required. All writing will be documented via Discord.  If you’ve read this far please tell us your favorite song on question 3 in the audition form. Writing is welcome on the site and on Discord, whatever you’re more comfortable with. Weekly you are required to use the blast with four replies minimum. Anything extra will be counted for points! You aren’t required to write with everyone (though it is encouraged to have a storyline with everyone so that you know how to interact appropriately!) but you are required to have four active storylines that you are replying to within two weeks. Activity checks will be sent out weekly - they will range from storyline based reaction drabbles, writing, muse posts etc.InclusivityWe want all of our members to feel welcome and like Eldridge is a place they can call home. We get that we all have busy lives but please don’t blatantly ignore members who reach out to you. If you feel like you’re being ignored, please let us know so that we can get to the bottom of it.   Point System We do have an active point system that we will be using to track activity. In order to maintain your spot in Eldritch, you will be required to make  80 points per month. We have a grid that you will be shown once you’ve joined.   OOC and Drama This is our personal favorite rule. Somewhere at some time, we’ve all met each other. We all know each other, and maybe in the past we had hard feelings about one another. Drama that is NOT storyline based will not be tolerated. Let bygones be bygones and make it work, somehow. We do not expect you to be best friends with everyone, but we require civility out of character and a basic connection with everyone. Make up all of the drama in character that you want.  Life  Changes As far as life changes (ie: marriage, pregnancy, whatever) go, we know that things such as these are usually never planned, with engagements - please wait at least six weeks before you pop the question. All you have to do is message the admins and ask for the change. You may join married or engaged to your significant other, be sure to add your writing partner’s name so we are aware. As for pregnancies - this will be a case by case situation. We do not want more kids than adults in this group, so you may just have to wait your turn for a crotch goblin. We will also limit the times that they are in events. We understand that having a child is an extension of yourself, but half the things that will happen at these events are not child friendly.If you've completely read and understand these rules - comment below and tell us a joke!
