Shrouded Legends, Part 2: Sunnydale Cemetery

Goku

Rant

(This rant was inspired by a vid that I saw on youtube prior to this.)I am getting tired of hearing DBZtards, Narutards, and other -tards of different animes/mangas that stating that certain main characters are way better then other main characters from different animes or mangas. And here is the thing...unless it has been proven that they exist, and I used the term 'exist' very firmly by the way, in the same world, like DBZ verse and the Naruto verse are in fact the same verse, one shouldn't be all stating 'Naruto can kick Goku's butt, because Naruto is uber-strong' without debate. Besides, the only way that I can consider it canon whatever or not those facts are true or not, is the creators of the respectable animes/mangas are stating which characters of theirs are stronger then the other. I can't believe how some of those fans are so....*angry grunts." Besides, I should know, I was one of them, stating that Goku is the uber-badass. But I grew out of that phase considering that I caught myself not listening to reason. Now, here is the thing that I would accept....now, while Goku can win in the fight against Naruto, (hear me out first, I am getting to a point.) Goku wouldn't be be out of that fight without some battle injuries. And may I remind everyone that it is depends on what story-arc that we are taking the character out of. Like say, Goku (before his training with Korin, the cat-guy for those who don't know) fight against Naruto (after he learn the shadow clones, before learning the Rasgengan) that would be a tough battle to judge. Now, to those who won't listen to reason, why are you so uptight about the facts? Besides, it is not like it is gonna kill you to listen to reasons and to the facts as well. Know your character well, and of other characters as well.

Follow these.

Holy gee willikers, Batman! It's a set of rules. They'll be short and straight to the point. Follow them and you won't make me shoot you in the foot. Rule # 1 You do not talk about Fight Club. Rule # 2 You do not talk about Fight Club. But, really, on a serious note -

Goku

Rules

1) I am not Goku in real life. The rights to the character belongs to his creator. So, please, refrain from asking if I am Goku in real life.2) Relationships are a biggie to me. I know that Goku is with Chi-Chi in the canon anime and whatnot. But remember folks, this is rping, not retelling. So, I don't mind who I am with in rping, as long as that person is faithful, as I am to that person.3) I rp in para, multi, and rarely one-liners (if they are proven to be interesting.) Novella are diffcult for me to handle. Messages are for rping, though you have to tell me why rping should be in comments. 4) ooc chats are fine, as long as you mention that it is ooc. Otherwise, I have to assume that we are rping.5) This rule has been added due to some people on here. If you guys wanted to blocked me for something that wasn't explained in your rules, please tell me  before you blocked about why you wished to block me. It just make me angry or pissed about it, because I hate not knowing the reason, unless it was stated in your rules. 6) Sexual orientations of other people, like bisexual, gays, lesbians and so forth don't matter to me. Personally, I don't see what the big deal what the sexual orientations are. If you guys are kind and friendly in ooc, then I would do the same to you guys. Kinda of an equal trade as it were. More to come at the later time.

RULES.

1. I am a Novella writer- To me that means I usually write at least ten paragraphs per comment. I prefer quality however, so if you know that yours dwindles after a certain point, don't go on boring me with fillers just to make the cut. I will make an exception if the writing is worth it. Send me what feels right and all should be fine. I would rather my partners be comfortable and I match what they send, then force anything upon anyone. If five paragraphs is all you can feel confident about then so be it. On that note I will not write with anyone who has a policy of READ WRITE DELETE. I did not just send you twenty paragraphs for it to be deleted in a few days. 2. I have an 18+ rating- This character deals with very adult themes. I believe that is self explanatory, but if you need it spelled out for you, it means I write: Incest, death, gore, sex, drugs and rock and roll. This also means that I am not shy about these things. I RP in comments and discuss in messages. I will not switch to messages when a sex scene comes up. I will fuck in journals and in comments. If that is something you do not want to see then don't read them. I believe that sex is necessary for character development in a story and I have no problems with people reading my storylines which includes any possible sex. Switching to messages when a sex scene comes up and going back to comments when it's over just seems like cyber-sex to me and is fucking retarded. 3. Don't steal- I was inspired by a various number of things so I see no issues in drawing inspiration from something especially in RP but please refrain from copying my story or taking any photos/gifs I may edit from my page, as I have worked on them for a long time and it's just rude otherwise. 4. I don't do RL drama- Unless we become close and you're informing me in messages (or aim) I don't care what your boyfriend, or best friend, or mom has done to you. I also don't care about your issues with other roleplayers which are not my concern. I'm not here to protect anyone who starts fights who I just met over the internet, and if you start that kind of shit, I will kindly see my way out of it. RP drama is a must, but I draw the line there. 5. I am a Multi-Storyline account- Although this is a multi-storyline account, I am no longer seeking out love-interests. Anything I write and or do with any other writer on this site is of a separate universe and therefore none of your concern. 6. Be creative- Don't let these rules intimidate you. I like to think I can be a pretty nice person when you get to know me. So don't be afraid to speak to me. I prefer to discuss storylines so please message me and talk to me about any ideas you may have, and I will do my best to work with you to create a good connection. I would prefer it if I wasn't sent premade starters, because it just reveals that you may be unable to reply with a comment of the same quality after I've taken the time to give you a unique reply. Every storyline is different. Nobody meets the same way every time. 7. If you showed interest send the starter- For the most part, I believe that if you've added me you should send the starter. Sometimes I may break this rule if I'm feeling creative and truly long to write with someone and I may write the starter. I have a tendency to write a lot (which ranges at about 8-20 paragraphs, but I have done much more.) So I don't want my time to be wasted on someone who won't reply accordingly. If you cannot handle that, don't bother. I'm definitely not here to one-line, or talk in text speech. 8. Use proper spelling and grammar- Do try to speak English. I am not perfect and I will make mistakes, but I at least attempt to be coherent. Use spell check, it is readily available on just about every writing program. Re-read before sending comments to me and edit them. It is greatly appreciated. -Now I understand that for some people, English may be their second language, and for cases like this I will not complain so long as I know that what they've sent is the absolute best they could do. In short, don't half ass what you send to me and all will be fine. 9. No Godmoding- I believe we should all try to be as fair as we can. I know that this is hard to do with a world full of bloodthirsty vampires, animalistic werewolves, terrifying demons and powerful gods, but it is possible to write with each other without always trying to one up one another. Fighting just goes on forever otherwise and I'm very picky about choosing fights. I won't rip out your spine or blow you into space and I expect the same courtesy. On that note, don't write for my character, it's fine and dandy to write out responses to actions my character has done, or even to say you watched me do it, but not until after I've done it. In other words don't say you watched me do a funny dance when in my last comment I haven't even stood up yet. Small things like pulling me in a certain direction by the hand are fine though. I mean how else would we get anywhere? 10. No butting in where you don't belong- I post a lot of bulletins, but they're not necessarily for everyone. I understand that bulletins are much more public than messages or comments, and I really don't mind people reading them, so as long as I don't address anyone specifically they are free game. However if I express that a bulletin is for someone else, please keep from throwing in your two cents. If it is written that I am speaking in the privacy of my own room with another character, there's no way you could ever see the conversation even if it is in bulletins. So move on, and don't respond unless you're called upon, no matter how the bulletin may make you feel. Feel free to laugh or respond to any random banter you find amusing, however. 11. Be patient- Did I mention I hate people who complain? That includes people who rush me for replies. I answer people as quickly as possible, but I do have a life outside of RP and several other characters that demand my attention. I also like to take my time, because I refuse to send people crap. If I am taking longer than usual, I will message you and tell you why. Don't rush me, don't posts statuses saying things like, "Comments people!" "I'm bored!" "Pay attention to me!" "No one's talking!" It is annoying, and I will delete you. I can't stand fucking attention whores. 12. I am here to Roleplay-I am on this site because I long to roleplay, so don't ask me stupid fucking questions like "Do you want to roleplay?" I will delete you. This is a Roleplaying site, what the bloody hell do you think I want to do? Catch my interest, send me a storyline idea and I will add to it. Send me an interesting starter and I will reply. That is what I'm here for.-As a side note I'd just like to say again that I am here to write. I understand that we are here to have fun, but to me actual role play comments are fun as well.  I want a storyline in between all the random bullshitting. I don't want to lose that. Thank you. -Prince Song

I bit of a note before I begin. If my profile appears strange, the culprit would mostly be because you are using Internet Explorer and IE is every browser's retarded cousin. SHROUDED LEGENDS

Death lies in wait amidst the fog's filmy, gray skirts.  Concealed in those luminous veils, it stands patiently, scythe in hand, ready for any passersby.   Low-lying tule fog that forms during California's late fall and winter is the leading cause of weather-related traffic deaths in the Golden State.  On a foggy morning in November  1996, in the southbound lane of Highway 99 south of Fresno, a semi-truck and trailer braked hard to avoid something the driver thought he saw at the limits of his headlights in the fog.  The truck fishtailed and rolled.  Immediately a Dodge SUV, three passenger vehicles, and a flat-bed truck hauling bales of hay crashed headlong into the overturned semi.  Other drivers, plying through the fog at speeds much too fast for the limited visibility, followed suite, slamming at frightful velocity into the growing rubble of cars and trucks.  Before it was done, 132 vehicles lay in a smoky, twisted ruin, 29 were dead and another 67 were seriously injured. So when the fog descends, the mood of an average Californian descends with it, graying into caution with just a pinch of frightfulness.  Sunnydale, California lies north of Los Angeles, just outside of the San Fernando Valley, far enough east from the Pacific to avoid most of the coastal fog that plagues seaside communities such as Ventura and Santa Barbara, but well south of the Central Valley where tule fog consorts with the Reaper to occasionally maim and kill drivers en mass on Interstate 5 and old Highway 99.  So when a cloying, dense fog descended upon Sunnydale in late September 1998, the populace thought it was odd, but they'd seen many an odd thing in that California town, and events and entities much scarier than bad weather. What they didn't expect though, were the creatures that drifted into town with the fog, that were cohorts or products of the lowering gray mists just as surely as Death lurks in the wispy veils of tule fog that collect and converge into catastrophes on the highways of the Central Valley.   In the alley behind the Bronze, the fog crept and slithered among the shadows, sending tendrils out to seemingly explore dank corners and doorways, boiling up in places while stretching out amoeba-like in others.  Monsters emerging from the fog on a moonlit night is an over-used clich.  Worse yet is to have some worn-out stereotype take shape and materialize out of the gray nothingness.  But that's exactly what happened on that late September eve.  Count Dracula, his black silken cape swirling about his feet, steps from the fog, his eyes hauntingly mesmerizing and glowing in the dark.   This is Bela Lugosi's Count Dracula in every detail, from his thick, greased back hair to Lugosi's famous malevolent smirk.  But the Count isn't the only instantly-recognizable monster on the prowl tonight.  Across town near the high school, Frankenstein's monster lumbers out of the fog, holding his huge, stitched-together hands out straight.  And in the cemetery, the Mummy is searching for the Book of Amun-Ra, dragging one damaged foot behind it as it maneuvers among the headstones.  Our story begins on 22 September 1998.  It's Buffy and the gang's senior year in high school.  They are still months away from Mayor Richard Wilkin's ascension and the fateful graduation ceremony that brings high school to an explosive finale.   Rupert Giles is in the library.  Its mid-morning and he's fretting over some disturbing news in the Sunnydale paper.  Of course, the library is devoid of students.  It's just Giles and his musty books.  Outside, it's another sunny and bright California day.  The fog and the things that dwell within it have retreated into the shadows until nightfall. Story Lead:  Giles

A Few Rules

These rules are for the new people to my list.1. Let's start with the obvious. It is a point everyone feels they need to make. I am not Sophia Bush.  I am a roleplayer. This is a roleplay page. 2. Grammar is highly appreciated. I don't want to need a translator to understand what you are writing. 3. Please don't take things. It is just rude. Although all roleplayers have content they have found on the net on their pages, they may have taken time and effort fixing it for their endeavors. If you want something from my pages. Please just ask.4.ABSOLUTELY NO DRAMA! This is the most important rule of them all. This supposed to be fun. It is suppose to be about writing, not about how many people are on your list. Or who is friends with who.  There is no reason to threaten people you do not like over something you could just let go.       You have a problem with another roleplayer discuss it with that roleplayer. Do not message everyone you know about it airing dirty laundry. Try to resolve it amongst yourselves like adults, before speaking to others. All one is doing is making others look bad and stirring up trouble which is childish.  Do not take everything so personally. You may just be taking it wrong. Sometimes it is best just to let things go. I know how easy it is to get emotionally wrapped up here. This is a fictional play land. Nothing here is going to detrimentally ruin your life. 5. I am highly selective. There is no need to put people on my list that I have no intention of roleplaying with. I do not have time. I may avoid people that have tendencies of ignoring my rules. I may delete people. It doesn't happen often. Whatever the reason is it isn't something personal.  I should not have to justify my actions.  There is no one on this site that I have a personal problem with.  I do not need the whole site on my list. 6. I will not be BULLIED! Do not ask friends to make me do something.  Do not keep pushing me to do something. Do not take actions that may try and force me to do something. I WILL NOT DO IT. 7. My character is taken and faithful. She belongs to one of the greatest Spikes out there. Except no substitutes. 8. Please don't ask me about rl. If I feel that you should know something I will tell you. I do not discuss my rl with everyone.

THE FATHER

If I am taking longer than usual, I will message you and tell you why. Don't rush me, don't posts statuses saying things like, "Comments people!" "I'm bored!" "Pay attention to me!" "No one's talking!" It is annoying, and I will delete you. I can't stand f***ing attention whores. 12. I am here to Roleplay- I am on this site because I long to role play, so don't ask me stupid f***ing questions like "Do you want to roleplay?" I will delete you. This is a Roleplaying site, what the bloody hell do you think I want to do? Catch my interest, send me a storyline idea and I will add to it. Send me an interesting starter and I will reply. That is what I'm here for. "Prayer is the soul's sincere desire, Uttered or unexpressed; The motion of a hidden fire That trembles in the breast." -The Deliverer

Updated Rules
Current mood:  annoyed

As I am tired of the general bullshit I have encountered here, I have decided it was about time to update this shit. If you can't handle what's written here, get the fuck out and stay away from me. I will not deal with you and your ignorance any longer.Eventually, these will be posted in my profile. I need to figure out how to adjust the size of the location first. The Rules;1. I don't add numbers.2. You pick a character you want to roleplay with.3. If you are a multi-character account then YOU pick one of your characters that you want me to rp with.4. If you add me, you speak first. If I add you, I'll speak first. I get rid of people who don't speak or respond to me after a weeks time. If there is something I should know about that would prevent you from speaking with me for a certain time, you better be damn sure to tell me if you want to stay here.5.OOC goes in comments, Roleplays go in messages. You send me an ooc in messages without previous discussion of it and I get rid of you. Simple as that.6.My roleplays are multi-para to novella. Rarely will I do anything else. Can't make the cut? Don't roleplay with me.7. Can't follow these then fuck off.
