Luthien&TheButterfly

'Sometimes we must forget all we are and give up all we know to become all we were meant to be. Ask the butterfly, Melian said to Tinuviel. Do you think she would be able to soar between flowers and visit nearby lands if she still thought of herself as a caterpillar? No, my lellig, she would not. Her wings would only serve to cripple her if she thought such a thing. She has to forget the life she once knew to truly blossom, just as you must do and live your life with your mortal Beren.’It was one of the first lessons her naneth would ever teach her about the stages of life. Just as Yavanna has since the time she was a young henig. Each bark of a tree captured the memories of the past, and leaves rustled whispers of the Valar and Yavanna’s guiding hand. She recalled the first time she felt Yavanna’s presence. Her emerald dress puddled into the lush field and roamed far past her almond-shaped eyes.“We are not meant to stay, as we are Luthien. Each season carries a lesson that forges in our souls until we become what the Valar has intended. “A warm smile tiffed the corner of her all-knowing lips, and her hair whipped around her face and held the most beautiful color of gold, like the wild wheat fields.“Look at the oak tree you dance and sing with. It was once the size of the tip of your slender finger. It was an acorn that broke free during Quellë and sailed across these lands until rain spilled from frothy clouds and sank into the soil beneath your feet. It slept in its satin embrace until Tuilë breathed life into the sapling. Each season, it grew bigger and taller until it outstretched across the fields and then sent messages back home to its Naneth telling its tale through multicolor leaves. It settled where the great Valar intended and provided shade, a home to the many birds and squirrels that roam across this grove. We all have a grander purpose, Luthien.” She paused, sighed, and just as a mist would feel, she strummed her fingers through Luthien’s starry tresses and warmed her violet eyes. “Such as you have, dear little henig. Don’t be afraid, and know when the wind blows at your feet to follow your call.”Luthien spent much of her time in the forest surrounding her home in Doriath, singing with the nightingale’s, sparrows and dancing with every tree and busheling. She even spoke to the buzzing bee as it tickled and wrinkled her button nose, listening to all the places it had been. It was a hazy Lairë day when she would meet the fuzzy critter she would name Vorea, meaning fuzzy in her language. He made himself known and slithered upwards on a blade of grass where Luthien rested her head. For the next week, they would share many laughs and sample an assortment of flowers in the wild fields as if they were nature's cupcakes baking under the morning star. Luthien carried him from one petal to the next, tasting each one until they had their sugary fill. She couldn’t have been asleep for more than a few hours, she thought when she spilled over on her side under a canopy of trees. The heat of the day and all the succulent nectars they had sampled lulled Luthien into Laire midday dream. At first, she thought her vision was still just blurry when she saw it. An oval fuzzy cocoon where a friend was when she fell asleep. But as she ran the tips of her fingers along the edges of her almond-shaped eyes, tears welled at once, seeing the horror that she would see. “Vorea! What has become of you? Speak to me. Are you in there?” She whimpered and cried. “Please? Do you need help? Perhaps I can peel it away. But not one answer or even a breath was given in response. Utter panic, sadness, and anger at herself for falling asleep trembled upon her, and she did not know what to do. So she gingerly broke off the thin branch in which he hung and quickly but carefully went in search of her mother for help for her little friend. Her naneth was tending to her gardens on this day in the healing house at the far end of the palace, where she said the vegetation grew best without all the noise and chaos sometimes visitors would bring. Such as the beauty held in the distant valleys that remained untouched, seldomly traveled on. These were among the lushest and most colorful of all the lands. Luthien burst on the vine-patterned wooden doors leading into her naneth's oasis, tears running wildly from her young sorrowful eyes. And she could barely catch her breath, and her lips quivered between hitched breaths as she tried to express to her naneth what had happened. “Naneth, oh Naneth. I had only fallen asleep for a little while, and and and… “ Luthien tightened her eyes tightly and tried to catch her breath as her puffy pink lips, reddened by her upset, pulled to an O with small, laced breaths . “When I awakened, he was like this!” She held out the branch and opened her guilt-stained eyes again. “It’s all my fault Naneth. When we travel in our days, I promised him I would keep him safe.” Mellian smiled softly and compassionately and curled her fingers around the branch, then placed it in the warm, freshly churned soil where it would be safe and secure . Then she crossed her legs, settled upon the plush grass beneath her slender angelic frame and pulled young Luthien into her lap. “There, there, my beautiful henig.“ Luthein found her words and demeanor soothing, comforting as she shivered, still crying but melded in her naneth's arms. “You listen to me Luthien,“ she said as she threaded her fingers down her long locks and made tiny circle along her back. “You have nothing to feel guilty of . It’s his circle of life. What was meant to happen for him. Just as you are learning with Yavanna, and why I let you go to the forest as much as you do in your days to learn what you must. It’s just like the changing of the seasons . A metamorphosis we all must journey upon. “ Mellian placed her tiny finger under Luthien's chin and raised her watery gaze to meet her own, for she would heed her words, knowing in the future she may need them when she too much chose her path without fear remembering this moment she hoped . “Even I had to change my path my young flower. Sometimes we must forget what we were to become who the Valar meant us to be. We are all a intricate thread in this tapestry of life. A quilt that spreads across all of Middle Earth. We are all connected, and with each joy and sorrow we feel, it drizzles into the streams and serves a purpose far greater than we can imagine. Your friend, my henig, he is transforming and becoming what he is meant to be too. He will soon emerge once again, but he will not look the same except his eyes. His eyes will tell you he is still your caterpillar friend. His purpose is to spread love and beauty. Pollinate across our fields and into the secret groves too . He will carry on his lips and nose the tiny molecules of flowers and scatter them like diamond droplets so they can grow all over and bring beauty and sweet treats to our world.’Slipping Luthien off of her lap as she adjusted her legs and settled on her knees. Melian smoothed her soft palm over Luthien's head, threaded her fingers in her long, dark hair, and began to separate each cluster of hair and braid as she spoke once again. “You see Luthien, one day in the future you will transform and have to become what you are meant to be, and at times this can cause some pain. But just as your dear friend and I had to do as well becoming your Nadar's wife and not return to where I came from. You will crystallize and be as intended. You will know the moment, my little one. It will be redefining, exciting and scary too. But it will not be a choose. It will be the only path you were meant to be on. You will recognize it as if may even come in the form of a love's eyes and tug the heart strings of your soul.”“I do not want you to be scared, and when this moment happens, remember my word and what you will see when your friend emerges from his cocoon. Remember it Luthien, and be the butterfly. Find your purpose , know thy heart and soar.”It was eons ago since her naneth had this conversation with her. But when Lord Beren came to court on that fateful day and her, nadar sent him away on what everyone thought to be a quest leading to his final breath. Melian then pulled Luthien by her trembling hand and lead her into her healing garden again."Sometimes we must forget all we are, to become all we were meant to be. Ask the butterfly, Melian said to Tinuviel. Do you think she would be able to soar between flowers and visit nearby lands if she still thought of herself as a caterpillar? No, my lellig, she would not. Her wings would only serve to cripple her if she thought such a thing. She has to forget the life she once knew to truly blossom, just as you must and live your life with Beren."She did not speak the words out loud. Luthien shared her Maia blood as well as her elven gifts, which magnified every whisper and breath, even perched between closed lips. Melian cupped her Iellig's tender hands in her own and sighed as one silvery tear cascaded down her twilight coloured eyes. "Be Vorea Luthien. Be the butterfly. Its time."Her words were but a few, but Luthien understood their meaning and nodded as her heart swelled knowing her naneth recognized the love she had for the mortal Beren. With this, Melian released Luthien's hand from her own and placed a sachet with many herbs and necessities needed to travel as she leaned in to kiss her Iellig's cheek and whispered, "use the door leading to the great forest. No guards will be there. But you must go now.. Guren *níniatha n'i lû n'i a-govenitham.  Melin Luthien."King Thingol never knew of his wife's betrayal. Although he suspected her involvement in some way. Nor did Luthien ever tell on how she truly escaped. But when she returned she cried in her naneth's arms and thanked her for her gift and allowing her to sprout her wings and find her own way.

What  are  you  doing? "What are you doing?" Asked an all too familiar voice. Rolling her eyes in irritation Regina turned to set her eyes on Neal. In this world he was Baelfire however, Regina had continued to call him Neal. "What I am doing is none of your concern. I'm in no mood for company. So go away." She said coldly. Turning her attention back to the vial in her hand she waved her other hand across it, the purple liquid inside beginning to shimmer and glow."You don't think I don't know what that is?" Neal asked as he moved closer. "Don't think I've seen enough of this magic crap to know a sleeping curse when I see one? What are you doing?" He asked in a more forceful tone though stopped when his feet suddenly stuck to the floor. "What the f***-" glancing down for a moment he then looked to Regina. "Really!?" "I can't live without Henry." Regina said quietly. "Every day I wake up... I lay in bed thinking I'll hear him. I can't live without my son." Regina said looking to Neal. Silent tears streamed down her face. "But I can't kill myself. Henry would never forgive such a thing. So.. this is something I can do. Go to sleep. If Henry ever wakes up and ever manages to find me.. he can wake me up." Regina said giving a very sad smile still through her tears. "Henry is without a doubt the truest love I've ever had. And if he isn't here.. I don't want to wake up. There's nothing more I want from this life or any other." She said before looking back to the potion in her hands. Popping the cork she then pulled a long pin from her hair, dipped it into the potion, and then was about to prick her finger."So you're just going to abandon him?" Neal asked. His words earned him a glare from Regina. "What if he wakes up but he can't find you? What if he could have found you if you were looking for him too? You're his mother Regina! He needs you."Regina only scoffed "I was his mother. He has Emma now-" before she could finish Neal cut her off. "That isn't the same! Look.." he tried to move forward though groaned as he couldn't. "I love Emma. I always will. But her and you aren't the same. Yes, she gave birth to Henry. She gave him his best chance in her opinion. But you Regina.. you raised him. Even after knowing there was a chance he could bring the person that could end your curse, the thing you worked so hard for."Regina looked down, staring at the pin in her hands. "You are what Henry needs Regina. It isn't about blood. Look at us. Both our mothers were blood... what good did it do us?" Reluctantly Regina set the hairpin down and waved her hand releasing Neal.Slowly he moved closer, gently throwing away the potion and pin before kneeling down in front of Regina. Carefully he reached up, wiping away her tears. "I get it. I miss him too. Not.. like you. I know you've got more to miss with him. But I promise you Regina I'm gonna find a way back to our son. And I'm gonna take you with me.. and we're all gonna make a bunch of new memories together."   template credit.

World Atlas

Halia—the “World of Man”, a reality created and protected by the eight Guardians, shrouded by the Veil. The Veil – a barrier constructed by the Guardians after Zera and Thera were sealed away. Its purpose is to shield the World of Man from potentially invading divine influence. The Schism—the weakest point of the Veil. It serves as the single physical bridge to the Outer Realms, crossing the Astral Planes.Astral Planes—the birth place of the cosmos, the origin of space-time. A realm of infinite possibility and reality.Outer Realms—Beyond the Veil lie the Land of Fae and Draconic Kingdoms, who separated from the World of Man after the Guardians sealed the Goddesses to protect Halia. It is believed that much more than just Fairies and Dragons make their home on this plane, though no mortal has ever explored far enough to tell the tale.Eldir—the most densely populated continent on Halia. Pristine waters flow through and around the land, as lush hills roll from the highest mountain peak into the flattest plains. Forests adorn parts of the surface with varying flora and fauna. It is not, however, entirely fertile and green: Eldir sports frigid mountains and arid deserts all the same.Galatia—the “Land of Life”, before the coronation of King Arthur of House Kestrel, Galatia was also among the world powers of Halia. The mountainous and forested regions of the kingdom make for hearty people, although ironically, Galatia’s capitol, Opalus, was once world-renown for being a city of scholars and mages. Galatia continues to yield a large percentage of Halia’s human magical-borne population. Whether this is a naturally-occurring phenomenon or due to Galatia’s proximity to the Elvish lands remains to be unanswered, however. Presently, Galatia faces trade embargoes and exists at a fragile peace with other Halian nations, in all-parts due to the actions of King Arthur. The kingdom has forcibly expanded its borders, occupying nearby Elvish realms, and many of its citizens flee due to the sanctions placed on the magical=borne. The Galatian people and economy continue to wither under the militant states of the kingdom. At this time, Galatia is not a recommended tourist destination.Ifa Serine—the “Essence of Moon”, is a sovereign nation in Elvish territory. Better known as the Lowlands in relation to the Icewind Mountains, Ifa Serine is rumored to be situated at the heart of the Silver Moon Forest. For millennia, the forest has been protected by an ancient enchantment that shrouds the location of where these Elves dwell, creating an endlessly changing path for travelers unwise enough to wander in search of it. Only those native to Ifa Serine or deemed worthy will have the path revealed to them. For this reason, Ifa Serine is the only Elvish nation unoccupied by Galatia.Aquroya—the “Kingdom of the Sea”, a peaceful, prosperous, and long-standing Halian world power. Its namesake as the Guardian of Water is symbolic to its geographic location as a coastal nation, and as such, a common salutation for Aquroyans is: “Fair winds and following seas”. Aquroya’s many port cities are instrumental in making the kingdom an essential ally for trade. Gentle, tropical winds tend to waft through the majority of the land. Aquroya is the most tolerant of the three powers in terms of intermingling between magical and non-magical races. Due to this, and its relative proximity, many Galatians fleeing magical-borne sanctions cross the border for protection.Ignis—the “Empire of Flame”, its sovereignty is chosen by the Great Dragon of Fire, Firagos. Ignisians have notably more strict societal pressures to be conscientious and reserved, and as such, they are not typically very expressive people. The geographical diversity of the Empire has forced Ignisians to become innovative in ways to connect with each other, and as such, engineering and science have become practices of great value.

quickly, if you decide to respond to this, please include itin the message slash comment so i know wtf. "Wisdom teeth? Oh, Roma..." a pink-hued faerie drawled, titling her head to the side as she examined the bloody teeth. A proud smile formed slowly on Roma's face as she watched the tooth fairy marvel over the teeth. "They're all intact... From the same human, too." The tooth fairy took a deep breath, using her own sharpened front teeth to peel the remainder of the gum off one wisdom tooth. "You're so good. You know, you should really reconsider joining us. You're certainly bitchy enough. And you come across the rarest treasures..." Roma sighed heavily, crawling on top of the mushroom behind the tooth fairy. She crossed her legs and reached forward for the tooth fairy's white locks. She began running her fingers through the tooth fairy's hair, preparing to braid it. "No..." Roma pouted, "I can't join you. Do we have a deal?" The tooth fairy chuckled, leaning her head back into Roma's lap, her bright hues shimmering with excitement. "How could I ever refuse you, Roma, and these prizes you bring me? Hm?" Roma smiled brightly, her teeth glowing in the moonlight. She hummed while playing with the tooth fairy's hair as the tooth fairy continued cleaning the teeth with her mouth. There was an obvious disturbance in the woods and both faeries snatched their gazes towards the ruckus. The midnight critters had altered their songs, a warning to the nearby fairies, and Roma slipped off the mushroom quickly. Slamming her back into a tree, she closed her eyes, her figure disappearing into the trunk. The tooth fairy swallowed the wisdom teeth before she scaled the tree like a cat, hiding in the branches behind the leaves. Silently monitoring her surroundings, Roma saw the man approaching, but she saw no threat. He didn't seem to sense her until he reached out, grabbing a handful of Roma's shirt and pulled her away from the tree. Roma's camouflage failed as she hit the ground grunting. She snarled at the man, baring her teeth and crawling away from him. "Don't hurt her," the tooth fairy warned from the trees, "you'll regret it " A flash of light coursing through the trees caught everyone's attention and Roma used her forearm to guard her eyes. Without much care or concern for the distraction, the tooth fairy descended from the branches, landing on her bare feet behind the man. She immobilized him easily by biting into his shoulder, her claws forcing their way into his mouth to feel his bones.

D U A L I T Y

IS O N G B I R DDescent into the underbelly of the capital was always marked by the familiar stench of garbage. The mage, in some part, believed it served as a prelude for the state of the rest of the district—for those unfamiliar to wander unsurprised at the blatant lack of maintenance and disrepair only this part of the city suffered. Another theory was that it also served as a warning for those that didn’t belong—namely the curious who resided in a better district. Whether it was a dual-natured warning or not, the seemingly out-of-place pinkette was undeterred. She walked the streets as if she knew them: because she did.Pausing in her pace at one dilapidated structure in particular, she took a moment to appreciate the aging, somehow-still-standing, establishment for what it was.The old church had seen many uses in its time—the wear and tear of the structure spoke to that. In her younger years, it was home: an orphanage for refugee children that were lucky enough to escape over the Aquroyan border. Presently, it served as a shelter for the homeless and the hungry. When volunteers permitted, it was a clinic. Though it had not seen worship in many years—at least that she could recall—it was a safe haven, always, for those in need.Whether it was a secretive enjoyment or a sense of duty, the pinkette disguised her intentions for continuing to visit the church with a simple statement: she hasn’t forgotten her roots.Crossing the threshold of the double doors, the mage instantly met with the now-relieved expression of the clergyman responsible for organizing services of the day.“Is it so empty that I’m a sight for sore eyes, Father?”“It seems the Light Workers we trained couldn’t be bothered to show up today,” the priest mused, albeit with a hint of bitterness.“Not to worry,” she retorted. “You’ve got an actual healer today.”Usually, students studying Light magic would volunteer for the open clinic, in order to better hone the healing aspects of the element. A requirement for graduation, no doubt—as volunteer numbers seemed to decline after commencement. She frowned, noting the formidable line of prospective patients that formed.By the Goddesses’ ironic sense of humor, the mage was blessed to embody the element of Life—as such, she was a practitioner of true healing magic, despite her apparent lack of gregariousness toward the general public.“First in line?”A twinge of sympathy hit every time someone stepped up, of varying degrees—each came to address a different problem: physical trauma, day-to-day ailments, some with more serious illnesses. And yet, this was the only building that hosted even a remnant of a clinic. The only pharmacy found was of the street variety. There were, of course, certain dangers to be considered that were unique to the area—but these people deserved better. “Just born on the wrong side of the cobblestone, I suppose,” she mumbled to herself.“Pardon me?”Meeting the hues of the elderly woman she was treating, the gentle light emitted from the mage’s palm faded as her focused gaze became more present. A soft smile creased her features.“Nothing, ma’am, I was just talking to myself. I don’t sense any more tension—has the pain resolved?”Her surprise was quickly replaced by relief as gnarled hands reached up to touch her temples.“I hadn’t even realized! Thank you, dearie!”Before the mage could respond, a fragment of conversation caught her ear—out of the corner of her eye, she recognized the gruff figure of one of the local goons always stirring up some kind of trouble, a little less than casually conversing with one of the other priests.“…That’s higher than last week’s payment.”“Yeah, well, so are the stakes. I’m assumin’ ya wouldn’t want somethin’ happenin’ to the place? Ya know, like arson, or maybe a robbery?”She could feel her fist instinctively tighten beneath her cloak—but a gentle hand gripped her shoulder: a non-verbal request from the clergyman she’d spoken with prior. It was a struggle not to voice her indignation. “And that is where donations actually go, I presume?"A sigh escaped the priest—the only answer she needed.“It may not go to the beautification of the establishment, but I suppose it does go into protecting it.”Protect was certainly used loosely in this circumstance. She wasn’t unfamiliar with the laws of District Three, having abided by them herself at one point. Surely, more was to be gained by simply walking up the worn steps to a wealthier side of town—but the poor were easier targets.“I think I prefer to call it extortion rather than protection. Have you informed the Guard?”A chuckle escaped from one of the patients—a middle-aged man who’d been treated for a laceration to his hand. Obviously, he’d no shame in eavesdropping.“Don’t kid yourself, little lady. They’re either in on it, or don’t care.”The mage’s thoughts turned to a fiery redhead—the Major Crimes captain, a woman she’d gotten to know over the years. Honest, hardworking, genuine… The mage was ever-impressed by the depth of her compassion and sharpness of wit. The captain garnered quite a bit of respect from those who met her acquaintance, she being no exception. She was a good cop. Unfortunately, she belonged to the good part of the city.Shaking the thought, the mage silently accepted the reality that the captain was a needle in a needle stack. The man was probably right.“It’s getting dark,” the priest interjected suddenly: another code to live by for the street-wise. “I suppose I should be on my way now, then?” “Please be safe.”A soft smile swept across the mage’s features as she gave the old church one last glance-over before turning toward the exit.“I’ll come by again another day to make repairs,” she replied, motioning toward the cracks in the ceiling.Knowing better than to object to help, the priest nodded, sending the mage off with a wave. IIR A P T O RAs night fell, darkness blanketed the barely-lit streets: the lamps used to illuminate them strategically placed few and far between. The stark contrast of building silhouettes served as a guide for navigating rooftops—the absolute blackness of their shadows made it easier to gauge the distances between. Little by little, the underbelly’s most despicable slithered out as the hours grew later.Tonight was perfect to hunt—though truthfully, there were eyes for only one prey. The soft padding of leather against shingles sounded every so often, barely audible to ears that weren’t trained to listen for it. A petite figure leaped from roof to roof, auburn locks trailing behind her. For the residents of District Three, she wasn’t an unfamiliar sight, if one was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her.Truthfully, her presence lent balance to the scales for this part of the city: though perhaps not so much justice as it was karmic. Justice, fairness… Those were ideas that simply didn’t appeal to the nature of the slums: the only law that applied was survival. She offered something far more tangible than ideas: reprisal.Stopping at the ledge of one of the taller structures, the vigilante took a moment to appreciate the skyline—more realistically, the quality of her vantage point. From atop her perch, magically-induced amethysts scanned the cobblestone below. There appeared to be no sign of trouble… In fact, it was quiet. This was a rarity she would normally enjoy, had she not come out for a specific purpose. Finally, a conversation caught her ear. “Where’d ya get all that from? Boss hasn’t changed his rates in a while.”“I like to charge a little extra as a collection fee—what he don’t know won’t hurt him.”One of the men held out his hand, gesturing for a share of his own. With a sigh, the goon forked over a few gold coins.“Hush money, yeah?”“I ain’t seen or heard nothing.”Just who she was looking for.Emerging from the darkness, she waited for the two goons’ shadows to pass beneath the adjacent lamppost, before signaling them with a sharp whistle.“Hey, Handsome~.”Puzzled, both men stopped, searching for the source of the sound, before finally settling on her form. The collections agent quirked a brow.“Eh? Hookers are solicitin’ from rooftops now?”“Someone’s probably into that. Ain’t a bad strategy, though.”“Yeah, well I ain’t one of ‘em. No thanks, lady. Try the next corner.”He retorted, waving a hand dismissively at her. “What a shame, but I think I’ve got a better idea,”Distracted by her sudden appearance, the two men hadn’t noticed the length of amethyst ribbon encircled around their next step. As their feet made contact, her trap sprung, wrapping around the lamppost. The goons hung by their ankles with considerable slack—but the height was nonetheless still intimidating.Their terrified shouts was like music to her ears. Despite their appearance, the binding ribbons were reinforced by an enchantment, and bore considerable strength. But the vigilante wasn’t about to let them believe that.Like pendulums, they swung back and forth—until the ribbon bindings finally stabilized around their wrapping points. Afraid to make any sudden movements, the goon barely uttered a word as she drew closer from the ledge across, prying the tightly-held burlap wallet from his hand. “Seems you’re as generous as you are handsome,”She commented, with a wink.“As thanks, I’ll teach you a little thing about momentum…”It hadn’t quite registered until the vigilante lifted her leg to deliver a swift kick to the goon, knocking him sideways into the other. Albeit unwillingly, the blow was returned—and the motion would likely transfer between the two for some time…“You bitch!”Finally, one mustered up the courage to say something.“Feel free to hang around for a while, boys~.”A mixture of amusement and pride coated her laughter as she made her escape, a satisfying thud ringing throughout the night as her spoils fell into the old church’s donation box.Charity felt good.

he  loved  you  too "He loved you so much, Henry. I love you so much." Regina said softly leaning in resting her head against Henry's. As anyone might have guessed Henry was still having a difficult time with the loss of his father, Neal. While there were many distractions to keep him from thinking on it the loss still did cross his mind, resonate in his heart as it did for many, Regina included."He loved you too." Henry said quietly. Regina's eyes had been closed though now they opened, slowly she moved back from Henry. "What?" She asked softly. Henry only gave a slight yet guilty smile. "Dad. He.. loved you too." He said again. Regina looked stunned for a moment, clearly trying to find the words before Henry continued. "I have his phone mom. I.. mom gave it to me after. She didn't see any harm in it. I saw the texts between you two. Most of them." Henry said, not wanting Regina to think he had read too much of their private texts. Only enough to get the gist there was something between Regina and Neal before he died."Henry I-" again Henry cut her off. "I know you're with Robin now." Regina shook her head. "No. It isn't that. I just.." Regina began to tear up, a rush of anger and sadness filling her. "The last time I spoke to your father I barely paid him any attention. I was so busy. I.. regret it. And well we never actually got to the L word." She said looking down.Henry now tilted his head in confusion. "What?" He asked. Sniffing back her tears Regina looked to Henry. "We never said love to each other. Hell.. we weren't even really a couple. We just.. were friends." She said reluctantly. Henry shook his head and pulled out Neal's phone, he still carried it with him. "No mom.. his last text to you. It must not have gone through. Before he went out to help Emma he sent you a text."Snatching the phone up Regina looked down at it, going to their last conversation. There was a text there that Regina had never seen, it must have gone unsent. Neal thought it had gone through. Regina's hand trembled slightly as she heard the simple words Neal had written.Going out to find my dad. Love you.Regina now had tears streaming down her cheeks. "God damn it.." she muttered. "How could he say it through a text.." she whispered. Henry only smiled sadly and moved closer to Regina wrapping an arm around her. Now it was her turn to lean into him, resting her head against his shoulder both sat there for a time. Crying, talking, mostly just remembering Neal.      template credit.

Think he'll be excited?Getting up from the floor in front of the fireplace Regina simply rolled her eyes as she heard Neal's whistle. "Eyes on the photo albums." She said with a little laugh as she walked over to the record player in the room. There was nothing but the hiss of it now, the record that had been playing had stopped. So Regina was going to switch it out for another.Setting the album aside he was holding Neal got up, following Regina, glancing at her collection of records, most being from the 80s of course since the first curse had brought her to this land in 1983. "Lots of 80s music huh?" He asked. Regina only gave a slight smile. "I like 80s music." She said taking one of the records, Madonna."Hey I'm all for it. 80s had some of the best music." He said and watched as Regina removed the record and so carefully placed it down and set the needle to it. Once that was done and the music had begun playing Neal reached over taking Regina's hand. "Think he'll be excited? Henry I mean. When he finds out his mom and dad are.. well what exactly are we?" He asked. While neither of them could remember exactly what had happened between them during the last year they had both agreed they felt a pull to one another, an attraction. Something that couldn't be denied.Smiling Regina shook her head "I don't know what we are.. but the song is very fitting.." she whispered and leaned in to press a kiss to Neal's lips. The song playing was Crazy For You, one of Regina's favorites. Truly it was a very fitting song for her and Neal right now."Well, What exactly are we?"   template credit.

Guidelines.
Current mood:  accomplished

1. No minors. Nathan is well over the age limit for mature literature and I am over the age of sexual intercourse as well. Please do NOT add me if you are under the age of 18 or 21.2. Do not steal from me. I have worked hard on the information, images, and layout design that you see on my page. Do not take what is not yours.4. Do not start drama with me or my friends. Best believe I will put an end to it and delete and block everyone involved with or without warning.5. Put some effort into your posts. Please do not make me do all the leg work and type out all the ideas for the both of us put together. It's a collaboration kind of style so please put out enough or more than enough effort on your ende of the deal.6. Do not ask for personal information. If I decide to give out personal information that is on my shoulders, and if I decide to give you that information please do NOT share it out with anyone else and THIS INCLUDES DISCORD IF I DECIDE TO MAKE ONE.7. No mutes. If you're going to be on my friends list. Please, PLEASE come say "hi" or at the VERY LEAST introduce yourself. If you add me, you talk first. If I add you I will talk first, and vice versa.8. I prefer messsages and random starters over discussions and comments.9. No bullying on my page. If I see any of that going on; all parties on my list will be deleted and/or blocked with OR without warning.10. I do not claim to be Steven Yeun or make money writing behind the character I have created. I simply use him as a playby for my character to individually portray a character I came up with back in 2012 - 2017.11. Do not rush me in writing back to you. Sometimes my life gets a little hectic and I have a scheduled and structured "routine" lifestyle outside of here otherwise I would not be able to function properly without a routine down.12. Do not come between me and my real life issues. If I have to step away from the computer for a while it will simply mean that I have some business to take care of and I will return when I can. I hope you can have some patience with me during this time.13. Please do not ask me for a discord or ask to exchange them. I do not have one. They are overwhelming to keep up with and I do not like messengers in the first place. 14. Literacy is not mandatory but appreciated. I would like nothing more than 3-5 paragraphs at the most. I write in third person format, and write in complete sentences, proper spelling, proper grammar, and proper punctuation. Please keep in mind that I will NOT answer to "hi" or "hey" or "how r u" or even small talk one-liners. Please introduce yourself and we can get a storyline going.15. I understand that mistakes happen and I try not to get onto people about that. I am pretty laid back despite all of these rules. I like writing and enjoy having another person writing with me apart from writing fanfiction and writing novella short stories on my own. It just gets boring.16. No straight smut. Nathan is single as of now, but if he does get into a relationship it will be a SLOW-BURNING AND BUILT UP TO THE STORYLINE. There will NOT be direct smut in the roleplay and will NOT happen right away. I hope you understand that the focus of this character is NOT about sex contrary to popular belief. 17. Do not contact me if we have not gotten along in the past. I am no longer the same person I was in 2010-2017 and I am not the same now, either. I am changing all the time and learning and trying new things. I enjoy being with people now and I am more outgoing than before. I used to be so timid and naive, but that has changed since I have experienced a little trouble. 18. Use common sense. If Nathan is not interested in your character please do not force him into anything you wouldn't force on yourself or anyone else for that matter. Nathan was raped as a child and was extremely traumatized by it and does not get close except with Jake.19. I will prefer 3-5 paragraphs to start with our roleplays. I like to start there because it is an unintimidating novel that you can easily do in your spare time or when you get a chance to be on a computer. 20. Have fun. Please do NOT turn this into a chore, responsibility, or obligation. If that happens, I will be forced to cease all contact and end the friendship or relationship with or without warning and simply  "disappear" from your life like I was never in it.

Peter, are you watching?
Current mood:  amused

I use to chase Peter through the wind, catching a ride on his dust, savoring each flake. Opening my eyes, the flicker faded with the years. His glow dimmed with age, the memory of him along with his flame. I am no longer your foolish puppet who circled each word spoken with imaginary hearts. I grew up, but you never did.Peter

Nesta remained seated, a book resting on her lap, while you observed the scene outside the window. Laughter reverberated throughout the estate, yet she remained motionless. Her thoughts drifted back to the moment when she was forcefully thrust into the cauldron, her mortality ripped away from her and discarded. Anger consumed her as she dwelled on it, but an even greater anger consumed her when she thought about what they had done to her sister, Elaine. The atrocities committed against Elaine and the state she was in now.Nesta had always protected Elaine, but after the horrifying incident with the cauldron, she felt like she had failed her sister. However, Nesta concealed these feelings from everyone. Discarding the book, she took a deep breath and rose to her feet, smoothing out her dress. Making her way towards the small library's exit, she retrieved the book from the floor and placed it neatly on the side table. Exiting the library and entering the hallway, Nesta continued to navigate through the corridors, turning one corner after another.Eventually, she arrived at a glass door leading to a balcony and stepped outside. The wind tousled her brown hair, but she paid it no mind. Closing her eyes, she allowed her mind to wander and drift through her memories. Each memory held something significant before fading into another, and then another. Opening her eyes once more, Nesta's gaze fell upon the town below, until her attention was captured by three young girls playing. They resembled sisters, running around and engaging in a game of tag. Tag, a game Nesta had never played with her own sisters, as their lives had been abruptly transformed from one of wealth to poverty, forcing them to reside in a cottage and struggle to survive. During that time, Feyre, her sister, bore the brunt of their responsibilities. However, Nesta and Feyre were never close, and Nesta acknowledged that it may have been her own doing.

f***ing twilight 001.

2012Everyone’s gotta eat, Violet was standing in line waiting to pay for groceries. She shopped here all the damn time. But she was getting the feeling she was being watched.Tingles on the back of her neck. A feeling she was in tune with, that’s how it works when you’ve been on the run from nineteen.  The couple in front of her were counting out pennies. She was boxed in she couldn’t just bail out of line. Not that she needed frozen pizza and that bottle of wine, but she did need something in her house to eat. So the fresh fruit and bagels looked like they should come home with her.She picked up one of those magazines to page through, she didn’t give a damn about who was married, who was breaking up, but she was trying to look busy. In the middle of a checkout line? Maybe she was just over tired. There was a small tug on her arm, she looked down to see a little girl, a little redhead she was looking up with her big eyes, “My big sister wants your picture.” She pointed a hand over her shoulder. A group of girls was standing off to the side. They were looking anywhere but her but then she caught the team Jacob t shirt.F***ing Twilight. Her hand when to her hair and she cursed herself for letting a friend practice on her hair, curls. Was Bryce even in the last movie? She didn’t know because she hadn’t seen them, but she had been asked if she was Victora from twilight for three years now, the little girl was still holding her sleeve. She hated it when it was little kids that were used in this because she hated when she had to say no.“Come back here Tori!” The little girl pouted. Her food was still sitting on the conveyor belt. She shook her head and stepped out of line.“Team Jacob huh?” She winked, “I’ll forgive it.” Five minutes later, she was walking out of the store. She had scribbled a name on the magazine, not hers but then oh well. Did she even feel bad that she made them pay for it?Nope.
