Group rules

You're not required to sign the group rules but you are to read and follow them. Should you cause too much trouble you will be ejected from the group. Reading these rules will act as everyone's first warning, should you have to be warned a second time depending upon your infraction you will be ejected from the group.1. Don't start ANY ooc drama among members. This is a family, not a place for bullying or drama. We are a safehaven for our writers no moderator will put up with any kind of drama should we hear about it. Try to resolve it yourselves if you can in private, come talk to us if you can't. Talking to us won't get anyone kicked but should it be something that can't be peacefully sorted then someone might be shown the door if that's the only way to calm things down.2. We want you to have fun, but we also want you to take your writing within group stories seriously. Give us quality writing, the word count is nice to have, but quality is what's most important. If that means it takes you a few extra reads and a little more time before you post, that's ok. That extra time is worth it if that's what it takes to make sure you have all your thoughts in order and coming out right as you try to put it into words.3. God mode, auto hitting, puppetering, meta gaming... just don't do it. You'll be told once and if you don't correct yourself we're sure you know where the door is.4. If your not ok with writing darker themes then we probably aren't the Star Wars group for you. We don't shy away from the tougher topics. We never have been afraid to talk about war, death, slavery... you name it, and we still aren't. Yes there will be upbeat stories sometimes, but there will also be dark ones.5. This is NOT a discord based writing group. All of our stories are written right here on roleplayer in blogs and group pages. We started before discord was a thing, don't expect to see it become a thing for us now.6. We welcome ideas from our members for crafting stories for the group. Just because there may only be a small handful of people at most writing out the basis for the group stories it doesn't mean you can't toss your ideas in the ring to be hashed out for possible inclusion where they make sense in the overarching storyline.7. Timed replies for blogs have never been a thing for us. That being said, don't take forever to add your post to keep the story moving. Many stories build off one another so it doesn't work too well when things get bogged down. If you can't write and post your piece in a timely manner due to real life just let someone on the mod team know and we can work something out.8. Real life... Real life will ALWAYS come first. No writing deadlines or dues here will ever be more important than taking care of things in your life up to and including your mental and physical health. We've been around since 2004, we can wait for you to return if you need to step away. We will most likely still be around in some form when your ready to return.9. This is NOT a cannon story group. There is a thread of it in the undercurrent for us but it isn't your god here, creativity is. We follow a custom written storyline which does have an effect on those cannon characters you know and love. Are we open to OCs? Hell yes we are we were founded by OCs. They will always have a place in our lore just tell us about your character and we can find where you fit into our history.10. Don't steal from one another. Character backstories, blogs, pictures... doesn't matter what it is just don't steal from one another. Should theft be brought to light you will be instantly ejected, no second chance given. Yes you will be able to talk about it with the moderators, but if it is in fact proven that you stole you will be gone.11. You never know when we may add, subtract, or in anyway alter these rules so check back from time to time to make sure you haven't missed something that may cause you to get into trouble.
