Appearance: Nathan is a young man in his late twenties and early thirties. He weighs about two hundred and ten pounds and stands at about six foot one inches tall. He has brown hair and sapphire eyes and tanned skin. He often gets compliments on how young he looks for his age and its thanks to his immortality that he is able to look this young despite being 30. He is considered a beautiful man in his area of the world.
Personality: While Nathan is a hard-working and genuine kind of person, he is also very selfish and demanding for his friends and family. Sometimes they find him insufferable, but they don't question it and give him the benefit of the doubt since that's how manipulative he can be. He is somewhat sneaky about things and tries to get things he wants by trickery and deceit. Not many trust him but the people who know him well know that he is not a trickster and he is simply a man who knows what he wants and goes to get it.
Nathaniel Greg Porter was born in Manhattan, NY to his parents who were always away for work or doing drugs. He did not have much of a childhood taking care of his drunk mother after his mother's breakups and heartache's, and never having the little unimportant childhood.
He would find his way to the Lawrence Kansas 26 years after Sam and Dean moved out of their childhood home and went their separate ways. Dean went hunting with his father and Sam went to college, quitting the hunting life. Sam ran into Nathan in a bar talking about his former lifestyle and Nathan explained that he was something that was not of this world.
He wouldn't say what it was, but if he knew what Nathan knew, Sam would probably kill him based on his nature as a hunter, and in his instincts. His instincts would tell him to kill Nathan for being a Nephilim. Part human, part demon. Part nothing. He felt like he didn't belong anywhere and he had to fight to find a place to live once he was found out as a half-demon.
Some people did not take kindly to half breeds and would shun them if they knew about their secret. He had to hide it from all of his friends and family and especially his father who was an emotionally abusive individual. Nathan traveled to Chicago , IL to find a new start in his life and continued living there until he met someone named Craig Johnson.
Craig was a CEO of a medical company and a very rich man and had been smitten with Nathan since they met at one of his press meetings where he would talk about the future of the company and where their financial excel was leading them. Nathan was the driving force of the funding of the company and had plenty of money to boot. However, it wasn't always like this. He grew up without having any money at all and had to scrap the bowl for the least bit of pennies and dimes to work with his growing school debt.
Then he went to college for Business Management and met a professor that believed in him enough to give him a scholarship to one of the best schools in Chicago. He wanted to help Nathan get out of the slums of Chicago and Nathan took the bet and has been successful ever since. So, as he continues to grow in both hardship and wealth, he also remembers to be kind to others that don't have as much as he does.
He still remembers what it's like to come from nothing and work your way up to something better and something that you can make yourself proud to be part of. Nathan was working with Craig and others on a project that was going to change the course of the company for a long time. Nathan's pitch was that they increase the funding of Project Zero.
Project Zero was a project that had been going on for a while but had not been released to the public yet; it was a series of drug that would help people concentrate and focus more on their everyday tasks but there were risks involved and they made sure to test it on a few people before distributing the drug and called it Drug Zero.
It was a popular drug for a while, but soon some kids got their hands on it and started using it, and Craig's company got sued for the mistreatment of distributing the drug. The drug itself wasn't harmful to kids or young adults who had problems with concentration. However, if misused it could mean a lot of trouble for the person using it and the people around them.
Craig got a lawyer to sort everything out and it was taken care of and Nathan and Craig went out on a drinking night to celebrate his victory in the lawsuit and winning his money back that he had lost for a while and had been sleeping in Nathan's apartment and sleeping on his couch.
It wasn't an easy thing for Nathan to watch, but they made it through with flying colors. Nathan was watching as Craig bounced back up from the bottom down below and was inspired to start his own project. He didn't know what it was going to be yet, but he knew it would be something great that would help people that would need the extra help on the side to continue their day to day.
