Born in Hokkaido, Kokoro was a very simplistic girl. She grew up on a farm, learning how to grow and hunt for her own food. However, every time she tended to the crops or animals, she would always sing. This didn't go unnoticed as her parents kept telling her that she had a voice that the world would appreciate. This planted little seeds of dreams in her head, to go to Tokyo and perform for hundreds of people who would appreciate the music that she could create. Her parents saved up, bought her a guitar and a neighbor began to give her lessons, which she grasped onto. She was creating music as young as twelve and she would sing to her family every weekend as entertainment.
When she graduated high school, she was given very little money due to her family being poor and they told her to follow her dreams. They would support her in every way she could and she promised she would support them fully if she achieved them. She traveled to Tokyo, found the smallest apartment that she could afford, which was just big enough for her, and began to work at a local 7-11. Almost every day that she walked home, she would find musicians standing on corners of the street, playing their hearts out. She would stop, listen and she always found herself in front of the same musician every single time. *Yuuri*. His voice captivated her and she had to admit, he was a very handsome man. She wasn't sure if she could compete with him or any of the other musicians, but she wanted to try.
By the time she managed to find a spot to perform, she had noticed the absence of Yuuri and a few other musicians. Did they get their break? Did they quit? All she could do is just try to allow Japan to hear her voice and wonder if she was even achieving her dreams the right way. Who would hear her? People? That's what she wanted right? Right. So she began her street performances, gaining more and more crowds each day she set up. Was this a sign?
She was approached by a woman who introduced herself as Satomi Moriuchi. The last name didn't go unnoticed as she bowed her head to the beautiful woman and introduced herself in return. She was the CEO of a major record label and wished to hear more. Not only did this woman carry the fabled musician's last name, but she ran a record label? Was she married to one of the famous Moriuchi brothers? Nervously, she agreed and within a week, Kokoro was signed to JVCKenwood Victor Entertainment record label and now she is working on releasing her first debut album, already releasing tracks when Satomi agrees is the appropriate time. Her voice had been spreading like wildfire, or perhaps it was because of Satomi and her husband Hiroki that she was rising faster than she expected. Her latest was a song created for the ending of a popular anime, My Hero Academia.
