About me: Elijah "Eli" Thompson was born on April 18, 1967, in New York City, New York. Growing up in a bustling city, Elijah was exposed to diverse cultures and ideas from a young age. His father, Dr. Marcus Thompson, was a prominent scientist working in a high-tech research facility, while his mother, Denise Thompson, was a dedicated nurse at a local hospital. The family was close-knit, supportive, and nurturing, providing a stable environment for Eli and his younger sister, Maya.
Eli began exhibiting signs of his powers around the age of 10. At first, they manifested in small, uncontrollable burstsโlights flickering when he was angry or objects moving slightly when he was scared. His father, Marcus, suspected that Eli's abilities were linked to his own secretive work in a government research project involving electromagnetism and telekinesis. Recognizing the potential danger and the need for guidance, Marcus discreetly helped Eli learn to control his powers, emphasising the importance of secrecy to protect him from unwanted attention.
When Eli was 16, his father's research facility faced a mysterious incident, prompting the family to relocate to Hawkins, Indiana, for a fresh start. Marcus accepted a job at Hawkins National Laboratory, hoping to distance his family from the incident in New York while continuing his work in a more controlled environment. The move was challenging for Eli, who had to adjust to life in a small town and the peculiarities of Hawkins.
Elijah quickly became known for his charismatic personality and unique style at Hawkins High School. Despite being the new kid, he made friends easily, including several members of the main Stranger Things group. His openness about his queer identity was met with mixed reactions, but Eli remained steadfast, becoming a positive role model for acceptance and individuality.
Copy paste greetings aren't usually my jam, but let's face it, it gets dull and boring if I just send you all messages like "Hey, I'd love to discuss..." or "If you'd be up for a storyline..."
Sure, this is sort of the same thing, only I don't write it 20 different ways and you decide whether or not I am worth talking out a storyline with. Or maybe you are one of those random starter folks. Perhaps a banter to storyline. I'm here for all of it really.
So, horror is kind of my thing, could get into some wordy shpeal about how you won't regret writing with me, but I will be honest, I am pretty trigger heavy. Sure there are some soft sides to Billy which I will absolutely be exploring, but if you expect us to go out for some ice cream social and are penpals over summer, I might not be the right writer for you. There will be angst, swearing, potential gore. And even if we are doing something pre-Mind Flayer scrambled up those brains, Billy is a posturing and pompous piece of work.
I will not be portraying him as some flat unable to grow character. He is an incredibly dynamic muse and I am here for the stories. So yes, I will take canon relationships, the fighting with Steve, the controlling ill-tempered big brother Max. I will also welcome organically developed divergence. And if you are only here to get in those tight blue jeans, I am sorry to disappoint. Billy as aforementioned is a posturing piece of work, so flirt with a pretty face he might, I'm not about to be your hookup just cause you got a thing for road rage and daddy issues.
Yeah, I know, winded, but if you're still here, I would love to get something going with you. I don't care if you are in the "in-crowd" or not, because what we should all be here for is writing. And I for one have every intention of getting some worthwhile stories going.
Afternoon! Just your average high school royalty swinging by to say thank you for joining my fan club. Did I say fan club? I meant a friends list! I'm really happy to see more people around. And please, don't believe all the gossip the other cheerleaders spread. They have been a little out of control recently and it's hard to pull them sometimes. I promise I'm not as mean and scary as some people like to make me out to be I truly hope we can get something started soon Whether that's just casual conversation or an intense dive into a juicy plot! Don't be afraid to reply as soon as you get time. I just like using this as an icebreaker, so feel free to swim over when you feel like it! If you find yourself bored and curious about how I can fit in with you, please take a look at my writing samples. The very first one (Title: Back To Eden) is a look into how I have worked my AU so that we can continue on without that nasty 'Chrissy is super dead' rumor that keeps going around.
