My father always told me that I came into the world fighting. I guess I was always a daddy's girl. From the age of 5 I knew I was different. I was able to aim perfectly at any target, no matter how close or far away I was. Living in the city, you had to know how to defend yourself, my dad would tell me. My childhood wasn't the greatest. I had a druggie mom who almost OD'd a couple times, even going so far as to try to sell me to the highest bidder for her drugs. At least my sister and I could rely on my dad, the one consistently good thing in our lives. That was until the divorce, when my mom got sole custody of us, and my dad could only see us on the weekends. It was tough, but we got through it. God, I was so happy when I turned 18. As soon as I could, I took my little sister out of my mom's house and left her to die. The ironic thing is, she wasn't the one to die. That was a hard call to get. I guess dad put us down as his emergency contacts, and the police called us. Apparently, he was murdered. I was broken, shocked, and angry, so I did the only thing a rational adult would do, hunted down every last one of my dad's murderers and killed them all. My little sister couldn't know about it, of course. I did it for revenge. Our shimmering light had been snuffed out as soon as we were free of our mother's self-destructive behavior. So, where do I go from here? I don't know, but Metropolis better look out. I'm not good, I'm not evil, I'm just me. And you don't want to get on my bad side.
