A Little Something Here
Zara grew up in New Castle with her family in the pack and her younger brother Leon. Looking after the young and rowdy wolves had become her job early on. Leon was quite mischievous as a pup, even into his adulthood. Zara learned as a child that she had actually been adopted and that she is not just a wolf, but a hybrid. Her adoptive parents weren’t sure if she was going to turn into a wolf, just be a witch, or both. At the age of ten, she felt her first gift of magic and learned that she had the ability of Healing, the ability to heal injuries and diseases of others unless that person is evil or is already dead. Her brother Leon had gotten into a scuffle with one of the other young pups and got banged up pretty rough from the rocks and debris in the woods. Zara had put her hand over his arm which had a deep cut and suddenly her hand began to glow. Leon felt the warmth of the light. When she pulled her hand away, startled, the cut had been healed to at least a small scratch but was no longer bleeding.
She had been nervous to tell her parents about the incident, not wanting to get Leon into trouble, but Leon was too excited about it and he blurted out the story anyway. They bought her a few books about magic to help her, even considering getting her a tutor, though they also still secretly hoped that she would become a wolf. By twelve, she had her first change into her wolf form, much to the relief of many. And as she grew older, she became a powerful force within the pack.
Zara is now the other half of the Beta pair along with Theo Talbot. Theo had been chosen by Alpha Donovan and his first mate Calliope to be the Beta of the pack. The Beta’s role is to stand in place of the alpha pair should they fall ill or die. Even with her gifts, Zara wasn’t able to do anything to save Calliope when she fell ill. After Calliope’s death and Donovan’s apparent disappearance from his role due to his mourning, Theo stood in his place to keep things going with the pack. Zara was there to help him when needed alongside Serafina. When Donovan married Serafina, a childhood friend of the alpha pair, they had chosen Zara to be the other half of the Beta pair alongside Theo. Zara works at Club Moon with the other members of the pack.

Witch Guidelines
AGING: Witches age slowly, like werewolves, but still live and die like a human. Most witches live for over 200 years. Age can be determined by a multitude of things. In some instances, a new Supreme is born for a light or dark coven. In the event that a new Supreme is born, the current one will notice a weakness in powers and a fading of youth. Ultimately this will result in their death. Light covens are far more accepting of this balance, whereas dark covens are not. A current Supreme can take the life of the rising replacement and in doing so gain their youth and agility. Another way that aging is determined is how a witch is born, such as through the use of light or dark magic. Births can greatly impact the aging of the witch or warlock in question.
Abilities can also determine aging and youth. One example of a light ability that could impact age is age shifting. The ability to accelerate or reverse the aging process; to become young. One example of a dark ability would be necromancy or spirit manipulation. This is a tie to death that allows the person holding the ability to evade death in many circumstances; including old age.
COVENS: Witch covens are a large family of witches that can consist of actual relatives or individual witches who join together. They usually come together during prayers or solstice celebrations and sometimes live together.
CREATION: Witches or Warlocks are created the same way humans are, just that witches inherit their parents' magical abilities through their parents' genes. If the parent or parents had to do anything to enhance a pregnancy or alter the natural order of conception, the circumstances can impact the abilities the witch or warlock develops later on.
DARK MAGIC: Dark Magic is not something to be taken lightly. A witch that has gone mad with hate becomes a Demon or dark witch or warlock. The only way to stop them is death itself. Another good reason not to piss them off. One thing to always remember about dark magic is that once you practice dark; you DO NOT go back to light. If a light witch did a few dark spells, they can be pulled back to safety. It is not typical to go back and forth between light and dark. Dark magic marks witches/warlocks when they are born and it can be difficult for them to fight to stay light if they ignore their gifts. Light and dark gifts are to be maintained in the correct coven. Dark witches can do easy and lighter spells, but light witches do not possess the strength or mark to do dark magic on their own. They usually would not, unless they intended to stay in the shadows.
HUMANS: Humans can interact with Witches as if they were regular human beings. Witches can use humans for rituals or for anything really. Most of the time humans and witches live in peace together. Dark witches often use them as easy prey.
MAGIC: Witches use their connection with magic from deep within themselves as well as the magic in nature and the earth. They can conduct spells and rituals, giving curses, guidance, and strength. They have a great knowledge of herbs to make potions and remedies that modern doctors may not know. There are trinkets of great power and numerous spells that can enhance magical abilities.
HYBRID WITCHES: Witches who are hybrids typically show enhanced abilities. While this varies from character to character (as well as species to species) the specifics should be discussed between the writer and moderators to determine where their character falls in those lines. For example, a hybrid wolf/witch could change at will versus waiting for a full moon. Hybrids may not be gifted with a special ability though it is possible.
SHAPE-SHIFTERS: These are the closest allies to witches. Shape-shifters can change their shape at will, thus giving them a bigger connection to the earth, like witches. Many shape-shifters are hired protectors of witch families, usually to watch over their children. Shape-shifters can also be enemies of witches as well especially if they wish to do harm to the earth and the cycle of life.
SPECIAL ABILITY: This ability must match the type of magic the witch/warlock chooses '(light or dark). There is usually not more than one witch/warlock with the same ability. In the event that a witch/warlock is a Supreme, they are gifted with many abilities. They still have one gift, however, that is stronger and more natural than the others.
SUPREME: The title of the strongest witch in the coven. Every 30 years a new supreme can resurface, but it may take longer depending on the strength of the coven. They are harder to attack than younger and weaker witches. There are times when Supreme witches are not reborn for much longer. Supreme witches are often the most powerful witch of the group, though not always the oldest.
WEAKNESSES: Mortality, Decapitation, Heart extraction, Loss of limb, Severe blood loss, Exhaustion, Fear.
WEREWOLVES: They are allies or enemies of witches. Witches have more difficulty in killing werewolves when being attacked but it can be done nonetheless. Never mess with an angry witch. Powerful witches have the ability to force a change in a werewolf.

Werewolf Guidelines
ABILITIES: Werewolves have great speed and strength, especially with their jaws. They also have great endurance and can move for a constant period of time, such as cross-country running. They also have superior hearing and vision, especially at night.
AGING: Werewolves are not immortal, but they age slower than normal humans or shape-shifters. Therefore, they can still die of natural causes, if they are severe enough.
CREATION: Werewolves are born into it. Both parents have to be a werewolf in order for you to be a pure werewolf. It is possible for a werewolf to mate with a human, shifter, or witch/warlock but that child would be less werewolf, and be more like a runt of the pack and usually looked down on.
FOOD: Werewolves can eat normal human food. We're not stuck on one diet like vampires. It makes it easier for us to blend in. The only flesh we really enjoy is ripping apart our enemies or the occasional rabbit.
HUMANS: Humans cannot be turned into wolves. Werewolves can have a relationship with humans and their offspring can be a hybrid or whole wolf. Werewolves can easily kill a human if the wolf loses control or is caught up in a werewolf fight.
MATING: Mates are generally predetermined by the Goddess and will reveal themselves to the wolves in time. If two wolves wish to be mated, they can perform the mating bite during a full moon (each wolf bites the other between the neck and shoulder, "scruff of the neck"). This will determine if they are true mates as blessed by the Goddess. If they are mates, the bite mark will not fade and be seen as a scar. If they are not, the bite mark will fade after a few days. This does not mean that they can't be blessed at a later point, however. The wolves can bite each other in human form but it will not be an "official" mating until done in wolf form.
PACKS: Packs consist of an alpha and a beta as the two main leaders of the pack. They can be either male or female. The rest of the pack are the rest of the wolves in the area. Most cities only contain one pack, unless the city is large enough to hold more. The common term for a 'pack' is a "gang," given by insecure humans. To become pack alpha, a wolf must challenge the current alpha to a duel. If the lesser wolf beats or kills the alpha, they become the new alpha and can appoint a new beta, the losing alpha gets eaten by the pack. If the current alpha wins, the challenging wolf is eaten by the pack.
SHAPE-SHIFTERS: Shape-shifters are NOT werewolves. Shape-shifters can change into any animal and most just choose one main animal to shift into. They can transform at will and can control it. Their weakness is the same as any human. Usually, shape-shifters and werewolves don't interact unless there are pack issues between them. Before the war, werewolves once had the ability to shift like shape-shifters but since that power was taken away they can only change during full moons.
SILVER: Silver is a werewolf's worst enemy. Once pure silver enters the bloodstream, the werewolf starts to die. Depending on the amount of silver in the bloodstream, the werewolf could either die fast or slow. If there is a small amount and the werewolf can make it to the doctor, a blood transfusion can save their life.
TEMPERATURE: A werewolf's temperature runs higher than normal, usually around 108 or 109 degrees Fahrenheit. This is one indicator that someone is a werewolf. It isn't something they can hide. And it's usually why they run around in fewer clothes.
TRANSFORMATION: A werewolf can only become a wolf on a full moon. If they do it sporadically, they are not a werewolf, but a shape-shifter. So they only change once a month, just for the night of the full moon unless under a spell by a witch who has the ability to control them.
WEAKNESSES: Silver, Wolfsbane (poisonous), Head wounds/Decapitation, Loss of limb, Heart Extraction, Human vulnerability, severe blood loss.
WITCHES: They can be allies or enemies to the werewolves, as they can only be trusted so much. They turn sides easily and could easily become a werewolf's enemy just as much as their friend. Powerful witches can have the strength to force a change on a werewolf.

New Castle Pack Specfics
1. Werewolves in town are a part of Donovan Reyes' pack.
2. There is a rivalry between Don's pack and the coven of dark witches led by Ambrosia Lancaster.
3. Packs are created by the alpha, who either birth wolves or invite wolves to join the pack. The Alpha protects the pack in whatever way he/she can. Any wolf can challenge the alpha for the position, but they must kill the Alpha to be in charge of the pack. Bolverics are chosen by the Alpha and are the strongest wolves second to the Beta and the Alpha.
4. Members of Don's pack work at the nightclub owned by him and Serafina called Club Moon, though you can have an additional job elsewhere in town, some also work at his construction company Bodolf Construction.
5. The Reyes Pack all live on pack land. There is a central pack house used for gatherings indoors and there are homes and cabins for each of the families/members to live in. Kind of like a summer camp situation. The Alpha's home is the biggest and transfers to the new Alpha when there is one.
6. Positions within a pack include:
Alpha (leader)-Alphas are the strongest wolves in an area and are either born into the responsibility, create it, or fight for it. Packs are created by the alpha, who either turn wolves, birth wolves, or invite wolves to join the pack. The Alpha protects the pack in whatever way he/she can. Any wolf can challenge the alpha for the position, but they must kill the Alpha to be in charge of the pack.
Beta (second)- This is similar to the underboss in the mafia. The Beta is the second in command and makes calls for the pack in case the alpha cannot.
Lupa (alpha's spouse)- The Lupa is usually the female wife of the alpha and is usually a wolf. Though, there are some cases that state otherwise.
Mate- any wolf's significant other, a union blessed by the Goddess.
Bolveric (guardian)- Bolverics are chosen by the Alpha and are the strongest wolves second to the Beta and the Alpha and are essentially the bodyguard of the alpha.
Omega (caregiver)- A weaker wolf that would lose if they ever challenged an alpha, they usually take up the responsibility of helping to raise the babies/pups and caring for the wounded in fights.
Lunapar/Lunalugar is the meeting place for wolves during full moons, ceremonies (weddings, births), or to discuss matters and propose fights. Lunapaque is what wolves call the pack among themselves.
Lunapaque (Luna-pack) or Moon Pack is what wolves call the pack amongst themselves.
