I know, like so many people say, I had nothing else left to prove but once you do something it’s hard to let go. I don’t quit there’s no quitting in my vocabulary. think that would be a great idea. I think they’d actually like that.
“It’s just a lot of crap going on and yeah it’s no problem. No worries man. Sh*t happens.” He said taking a sip of his drink and then placed it down. “That’s great, I know a lot of people aren’t they like to see us fail especially me. That would be fine, we don’t have a game until the weekend.”
Tom had a lot of sh*t going on behind closed doors but he had some unfinished business with football and he wasn’t going to go out the way he did. It sounded selfish sure but he just wasn’t ready to hang it up yet. “It’s fine man.” He knew people were going to ask him things about what was going on. “I got a lot of crap going on. I know people are always trying to start stuff but they don’t really know the story. It wouldn’t be the first time that we’ve gotten into things due to football.” He replied taking a bite of his food.
Tom had just ordered his food and he was waiting for it to come to the table where he was sitting at. He heard his name being called and he looked up to see what was going on. “Hey dude, what’s going on? I know who you are. How’s it going?” He replied with a smile as his food came to the table he didn’t want to be rude so he asked him if he wanted to come join him.
Tom had finished with practice for the day. He did not have a game until the weekend so he was out and about. After he had taken a shower and got dressed into some street clothes with a hat and some sunglasses, he decided to venture into town and grab a bite to eat. There were a lot of decent places to eat so he didn’t have a problem choosing it was only a matter of preference as he always ate healthy but sometimes had a cheat meal here and there. But, who didn’t. So, upon much thought, he decided on a place and walked inside looking around and taking a menu on waiting to get seated.
