Previous Injuries Melinda had suffered severe physical trauma when she was two years old due to an attack by four men during a riot in LA along with her adoptive father, Stuart Marokwitz on their way to a wedding. While Stuart was beaten severely trying to protect Melinda and lost his memory, Melinda's injuries were far more severe, leaving her in a coma with every single bone in her body being broken, her skull being cracked open, and severe blood loss. This attack left her in a coma for over six months, and due to a mix up in the hospital, she had been pronounced brain dead with the hospital staff eventually going to court in an attempt to have her taken off of life support. Her adoptive mother Ann Kelsey did everything she could, fighting appeal after appeal though eventually was told that she and her husband would have to say goodbye to their daughter. Stuart had not regained his memories yet, and did not remember Melinda until he began to tell her goodbye when he froze, finally remembering the attack and who she was. He then begged Melinda to wake up and not to leave them, with Melinda managing to squeeze her father's hand twice as proof that she was still alive. Once Melinda woke up, she was transferred out of the hospital, with Ann going behind her husband's back to sue the hospital for trying to kill their daughter. Melinda made a full recovery, but has been terrified of hospitals ever since.

THE WITCHLIGHTER

โ–บMelinda Halliwell

Biography

Melinda Prudence Halliwell was born to Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt on October 31st, 2007. Gifted with both the powers of a witch and a whitelighter, one of the first abilities Melinda displayed within a month of her birth was that of combustive orbing. Due to this power only being displayed by her older son Wyatt before, and Melinda being a newborn at the time, Piper and Leo argued for several days before Piper reluctantly agreed to bind Melinda's powers until she was old enough to control them, as an infant with the ability to blow things up in orbs was not only annoying, but incredibly dangerous, and an immense risk to exposing magic. Unfortunately this did not come without a cost. Doing so essentially made their infant daughter mortal, causing a huge risk to her safety, so much so that within that first month of her birth, she was abducted by demons while they all were sleeping. Piper had woken up hearing their infant daughter crying and went to see what was wrong, only to discover that there was a demon holding Melinda in its arms. She began to blow up the demon in her groggy state, only to realize that she made a grave error and most likely blew up her own child. Fortunately for her, the demon was mostly resistant to her attack, though was injured severely, using its own telekinetic powers to send Piper flying into a wall so hard that she lost consciousness. Luckily, Melinda was unharmed, but the demon took off with Melinda before Leo got to the room.

Unable to make it to the Underworld due to its injuries, the demon ended up abandoning the child somewhere in Boston, MA before it died from its injuries. The infant was later found outside of a hospital that accepted abandoned newborns, and was eventually taken into the care of a foster home that worked with baby brokers to help those unable to have children legally adopt. They only knew the baby's name due to the blanket she had been wrapped in embroidered with the name Melinda on it. Within three days, the baby broker had managed to find a home for the girl due to a couple he had been working with having two failed adoptions through him already with the mother's changing their minds. Reassuring them that this little girl had been found abandoned and that there was no mother to take her back, they agreed to see the child.

The prospective parents were an older couple, the woman being in her late 30's, and the man being in his early 40's who were unable to conceive due to the husband's almost non-existent sperm count, though were desperate to have a child. However, they had burned twice prior, so the woman was a bit wary of falling in love with a child that might be ripped away from her again. They were both lawyers and the husband came from an incredibly wealthy background, ensuring that the child would be well taken care of. The woman's name was Ann Kelsey, a 5'8" tall blonde trial lawyer, who clearly was the one in charge, and quite the stern woman, though she was quite kind as well. Her husband's name was Stuart Markowitz, he was 5'6" and an incredibly kindhearted man who was more desperate for a child than his wife was as he desperately wanted to be a father. Stuart was the one to retrieve the girl off of the plane and was informed that the child had a name, being shown her blanket.

From the moment that Stuart first held her, the infant seemed to smile in his arms, instantly calming down from the flight. He had already become attached to her. Bringing the infant girl to his wife, and placing her in Ann's arms, he could see her become instantly attached as well. Ann had asked him what to call her, but Stuart informed her that she already had a name, showing her the name embroidered on the blanket. They decided to honor the mother's wishes and keep her name Melinda.

Melinda grew up with her adoptive parents, though was unaware that she had been adopted in the first place as due to her age, they wished to wait until she was older to tell her. When Melinda was two, she and her father were victims of a riot in LA on their way to a wedding, with Melinda being designated as the flower girl and her father being a last resort best man. Stuart was severely beaten trying to protect Melinda and ended up losing his memories, especially of their daughter, not able to remember her at all or even her name, but was able to recover. Melinda's injuries had been so severe that she had slipped into a coma and due to a mix-up at the hospital she had been declared brain dead. The hospital, thought it was cruel to keep Melinda alive on life support and petitioned the court to have Melinda taken off of it. Ann did everything in her power to fight them off, appealing over and over until she was told that she would not be able to appeal again. With Stuart's memory loss making it even more difficult, Ann had a hard time dealing with everything by herself. She and Stuart were allowed to say their goodbyes, but with Stuart being unable to remember her, Ann wasn't sure she could hold it together by herself for much longer.

As Stuart attempted to say goodbye to a child he could not remember, telling her that he couldn't remember her, his memories began to return, including the attack. He hadn't been able to remember her name, but once they came flooding back all at once, he called out to her, with Ann realizing that her husband had now regained his memories and that the medication had worked in not only shrinking the cyst on his brain, but allowing him to remember their daughter. Stuart held onto Melinda's hand and begged her to wake up, apologizing over and over in tears for not being able to protect her and that he would do anything if she would just come back and open her eyes, or at least show some sign that she was still there. Just as they were about to begin shutting off Melinda's life support, she managed to squeeze her father's hand. Making sure he hadn't been hallucinating, Stuart begged her to do it again as the doctors watched her squeeze it once more, indicating that there had been a mix-up and Melinda was simply in a coma the entire time, and that she had been attempting to wake up from it.

Melinda woke about an hour later, much to the joy and relief of her parents. Ann was so angry about the mix-up and not only the hospital's attempt to murder their child, but also insistence at it that she wanted to sue them, but Stuart begged her not to because they realized their mistake. However, Ann knew that they needed to be accountable, and hired another lawyer at the firm and a personal friend of hers named Abby Perkins to handle the case, not only due to her trust in her and how much Melinda liked her, but also due to her knowing that Abby needed a large case like this if she was to ever make partner, something she dreamed of.

Stuart was incredibly angry that Ann went behind his back and ignored his wishes to drop the case causing them to argue about it until Ann admitted why she was so adamant about fighting the hospital for the negligence, admitting that they had gone to court so many times fighting appeals, only for them to send lawyers after her, telling her that she had enough to handle with Stuart's memory loss that she should let Melinda go, which had not only pissed her off, but affected her mentally and then showing him every recording she had taken of them trying to convince her that she should have their daughter taken off of life support, and how stupid she was fighting this. After viewing every single recording Ann had taken, Stuart saw how truly neglectful the hospital had been and how insistent they were to try to kill their child to cover up their mistake that he agreed to allow the case to continue so another family wouldn't go through this like they had.

They eventually won the lawsuit, and over the next year had Melinda work with various therapists to try to not only re-teach her how to walk, but also help her with speech and occupational therapy. Eventually Melinda was able to return to normal, at least for a few months until something went terribly wrong.

A week before her third birthday, Melinda had a nightmare and woke up to find a big scary looking creature standing over her through her nightlight. She screamed, waking up her parents as the huge demonic creature threw her into her wardrobe, smashing it, with wood piercing her stomach and left shoulder. The demon then produced a fireball and aimed it at her until her parents ran into the room and turned on the light to see that the creature with a ball of fire in his hands and a disfigured, demonic face, clearly was not human and Melinda was bleeding to death where her wardrobe once was. Before Melinda passed out, she reached out towards the demon, triggering her bound powers due to her high levels of fear, unbinding them for the first time since they were bound, causing the demon to explode in a swirl of blue and white orbs before passing out.

Ann and Stuart were thrown back by the blast and lost consciousness for a few moments before getting up and racing towards their daughter. Stuart was so freaked out that he had completely frozen until Ann snapped him out of it and told him to call for an ambulance as Ann desperately tried to wake up their toddler daughter and keep her alive. Melinda kept drifting in and out of consciousness as Ann kept trying to keep her awake until the ambulance arrived, having Stuart go to the hospital with her in the ambulance as he was dressed, while she got dressed and packed things for Melinda, even though she wasn't sure if Melinda would even survive what had happened. Packing the chargers for their devices, a set of clothes for Melinda, her shoes, her favorite blanket and the iPad Melinda always watched Frozen on whenever she had to be in the hospital due to an allergic reaction, Ann rushed to the hospital.

Melinda managed to survive the attack, but had yet to wake as Ann and her husband discussed what happened, knowing that whatever had tried to kill Melinda, whatever had literally exploded in their house, clearly was not human, something they had no answer for. They eventually fell asleep at her side when they were allowed to see her, both refusing to leave her side, especially after what happened a year prior. When they awoke the next morning, Stuart was reluctantly called into the office due to a case he was was due in court for, though did not want to leave. He tried to get a continuance, but unfortunately the judge refused to let him, even though by making him stay, it greatly impacted his ability to do his client justice as he was far too worried about the safety of his daughter.

Once the senior partner caught wind of this and realized just who the judge was, he managed to gather the necessary documents to convince (or rather subtly threaten) the judge to allow the continuance due to an ethics concern as the family emergency in question was due to a break-in, and the attack of Stuart's three year old daughter who had been gravely injured by the intruder, and was currently wanted for attempted murder. The judge reluctantly allowed the trial date to be rescheduled, allowing Stuart to rush back to the hospital to be with Melinda.

Piper Halliwell, who had spent the last three years of her life searching for any leads regarding Melinda's kidnapping with her family's help, had almost given up hope. Knowing that binding Melinda's powers had been a massive mistaken, one that made it impossible for her to find her daughter magically, had to rely on non-magical means to locate their daughter, such as through the police, and any leads she could get from any source. After learning that the powers of a teenage boy that she had bound through his request as a child had become unbound a couple of years prior, Piper began to scry for Melinda, casting spells to find her every day for over a year and a half. A week before Melinda's third birthday, the crystal finally landed on something, one of the maps that Piper expanded for the entire state of California, to a hospital in Los Angeles.

Wishing to check it out on her own, Piper found her way to the hospital, but wasn't sure where to go. Fortunately there was a woman asking for the room number for a three year old girl that shared her daughter's name, telling the nurse that her name was Abby Perkins and that she was the girl's godmother and allowed on the visitor's list, calling the girl Melinda Markowitz, and that her birthdate was October 31st, 2007, the same date of birth as her own daughter. Piper began to follow the woman to the room in the pediatrics ward, spying through the window as the woman entered the room and spoke to a blonde haired woman who was sitting next to a sleeping child that had been horribly injured. They talked for a while before the woman left.

Piper, desperate to see if this was her daughter entered the room, immediately putting the woman on edge. Ann immediately became defensive, asking the strange woman who she was, stood protectively in front of Melinda as Piper flicked her wrists and froze her. Approaching the sleeping child, Piper noticed that the girl's chest was rising and falling, indicating that she had not frozen. She quickly checked the girl, finding a scar on her left wrist, which was currently in a sling in the shape of a triquetra. Casting a tracking spell the day after Melinda disappeared, Piper assumed it hadn't worked, but the spell left a burn mark on her daughter's wrist, not necessarily tracking her location, but leaving the symbol connected to their family and allowing her to be able to recognize her daughter after all these years.

As Piper examined the girl, the girl's eyes began to slowly open, with the first thing she was able to see was a strange woman sitting on the bed beside her. Melinda was terrified and tried screaming and crying for her mommy and daddy. The toddler had no idea who this woman was or where her parents were as she had just woken up. Piper tried to get the little girl to calm down, but Melinda accidentally flicked her hands at her, causing Piper to become thrown back into the wall by the force of the attempted explosion. Fortunately, due to Piper's high resistance as an extremely powerful witch and Charmed One, she wasn't able to actually be blown up, and only felt the pain of the attack as well as the explosive force knocking her backwards.

Seconds later the door opened, and a man rushed inside, seeing that his wife wasn't moving. As the man called out to her, Piper learned that the woman's name was Ann. Stuart managed to see someone being flown backwards into a wall as Melinda woke up sobbing uncontrollably. It didn't take long for Stuart to put two and two together after witnessing Melinda's hands moving and the strange woman being knocked back into the wall in those orbs, the reason that the creature exploded in their home was because of Melinda. Stuart rushed to his daughter's side and gently picked her up, holding her protectively in his arms, fearing that the woman that had been knocked back was trying to hurt Melinda, and that she was the cause of Ann's frozen state.

As Piper stood up and saw the man holding her daughter close to him in a protective manner, as if she were a threat, and Melinda trembling in his arms as she laid her head on his shoulder, cuddling into him, she felt incredibly hurt. Stuart began to question the woman, asking her what she was doing there and what she had done to his wife. Melinda was still crying in his arms as Stuart tried to calm her, telling her that daddy was there now and that it was going to be okay. Piper, using the calmest body language she could, explained that his wife was fine and that she would unfreeze soon. Stuart then asked her who she was. She told him her name was Piper Halliwell, and three years ago her infant daughter was taken from her, and that she was looking into her disappearance.

Stuart asked her if she was the one that sent that monstrous creature after them, the one that tried to kill their daughter last night. Piper told him that she would never do anything like that, especially to a child, and asked him to describe the creature and the attack that had taken place the night before. He broke down and explained that they woke up to hearing Melinda screaming, and assumed that she had another nightmare. Just as he had got up to check on her, they heard a huge crash and ran to her room to find this horrific creature standing there with a ball of fire in its hands and Melinda impaled by her own wardrobe, bleeding to death on the floor. The creature then exploded in blue and white orbs, the same ones he saw as he came into the room just now that sent Piper flying backwards. Describing the creature to Piper, she realized that a demon had been sent to attack the family, unbinding Melinda's powers.

Stuart asked if Melinda was the one who made that thing explode. Piper told him that the thing that attacked them was a demon, and that Melinda was a very special little girl just as Ann unfroze. Ann had become immensely confused upon seeing everything had changed, but quickly stood in front of her husband and daughter to protect them from what she thought was a threat considering what had happened last night. After calming down his wife, Ann gently took Melinda from her husband while he brought her up to speed. Ann did not trust Piper whatsoever, getting the feeling that she was hiding something and had an ulterior motive, especially after her husband told her that it was Melinda who blew up that creature the night prior.

Piper explained to them that Melinda wasn't exactly like them, and that she had special powers. She continued to explain that Melinda came from a long line of powerful witches, and that she was part witch, but also part whitelighter, which was a sort of guardian angel for witches. Stuart made a comment that Piper seemed to know an awful lot about this, which was when Ann's gut feeling proved correct. Piper revealed that three years ago, when her daughter disappeared, she had been wrapped in a soft pink blanket in her crib with her name embroidered on it. A demon attacked and kidnapped her, but because her daughter's powers were bound as she kept blowing everything up, they couldn't track her. Piper revealed the birthdate and name of her missing daughter to be Melinda, and that after Melinda went missing, she cast a spell trying to locate her. She thought that the spell had failed, but the mark on her left wrist was a celtic knot called a triquetra, a symbol connected to their family. The spell had left a mark on Melinda so she could eventually find her.

Ann immediately became defensive and demanded that Piper leave right then and there or that she would call security. Stuart seemed to have been stunned into silence, knowing that if Melinda had been a victim of kidnapping, legally she was not theirs, and that they were going to lose their child. It was the reason why Ann became immediately defensive as she refused to let anyone take Melinda away from her, that she would not have another child ripped away from them. She reiterated that Melinda had been abandoned, and that she would have to pry Melinda away from her cold dead body before she ever let the woman who clearly abandoned her and made up lies about their child take her away from them.

Melinda did not understand what was going on, but could hear her mother's anger and threats, immediately gripping her tightly with her good arm as she trembled in her mother's arms. Ann could tell that Melinda was terrified and held onto her as tightly as she could, demanding Piper to leave and telling her that if she ever came near their daughter again she would press charges for attempted kidnapping.

Once Melinda recovered enough to go home, and her parents realized the extent of Melinda's abilities, they tried to have Melinda not use her powers willingly in front of others, but Melinda's lack of control made for several close calls. Eventually Piper returned with her husband and sisters. Piper and Ann yelled at each other, waking Melinda up from her nap, and causing Melinda to think Piper was trying to hurt her mommy, leading to Melinda's powers spiraling out of control until she was calmed by her father. This got the two women to stop arguing, realizing that they needed to focus on what was best for Melinda, and while Leo hated it, he realized that attempting to remove Melinda from the only family she has ever known would only lead to disaster.

Managing to convince Piper of this, Leo and Piper sat down with Ann and Stuart, allowing them to come to some sort of agreement, with Phoebe being the mediator due to her ability as an empath to make sure that not only was the deal fair, but Melinda's best interests were truly at heart. Melinda would remain in the custody of Ann and Stuart, as not only were they the only family she had ever known, but because Melinda was far too young to comprehend exactly what was going on, and that if they ripped her away from Ann and Stuart, it would be immensely traumatizing for her. Phoebe told Piper that if they took her away from them, that Melinda would never be able to form a bond with her because she would just think that she was the horrible woman that took her away from her parents.

However, that did not mean that Piper and Leo were just to simply walk away and forget about Melinda either. Due to the Elders changing the prophecy of the Twice Blessed Child to include Wyatt, Chris, and Melinda, Melinda was quite powerful, and she had zero control over her own powers. It was dangerous, and she needed training. Both sides agreed with this, especially after Melinda's attempt to be Elsa from Frozen once she realized that she could control and manipulate ice like the Disney character, making their house into a winter wonderland in Melinda's mind, and an icy death trap in Ann's. Ann and Stuart wished for Melinda to attend a normal private school when she was old enough, but they did agree that for the time being she could attend Magic School, and then when she got old enough to attend school, she would do Magic School as more of an after school program.

Piper did not think that this was fair at all, however, Phoebe was not done working out the deal between each family. In addition to this, Phoebe also said that while Melinda should remain in her adoptive parent's custody, until she was old enough to not only comprehend the situation, but also to make an informed decision, to ensure fairness, and so that Piper and Leo have a chance to get to know their daughter, Phoebe proposed that they come to some sort of visitation agreement, especially so Melinda could get further training for specific powers from both of her biological parents. Since Melinda was not old enough to attend school, Phoebe suggested that while Ann and Stuart were at work that one of them would help take care of Melinda instead of Ann and Stuart hiring a new nanny.

Ann immediately objected, but Phoebe reminded them that most people didn't know about the existence of magic, and with Melinda unable to control her powers that not only would it risk the exposure of magic to the point where Melinda could be taken away by an entity called the Cleaners who essentially erased the memories and the magic exposed to mortals, something they had already tried with Melinda's older brother Wyatt. Leo explained that Melinda would be at Magic School most of the day in their nursery, which taught preschool. Leo and Piper were to watch her after school as well, and would drop her off when either Ann or Stuart called to say they were home. It would also allow them to have date nights or dinner's with clients if needed.

Stuart managed to convince Ann to agree to this, though Ann told them that she wished to meet with the headmaster and the staff members that would be in charge of Melinda and asked how she would get there if there was ever an emergency after Leo explained the location of the school. Leo told her that he was the headmaster, and that they would have a portal to the school placed in their home somewhere safe, yet hidden so that no one would accidentally go through it. Stuart showed him a spot that was well hidden, yet easy enough for them to access that no one would ever think to go.

Ann had a few stipulations that must be made before she agreed to anything into addition to the ones already made, which made the Halliwell's feel uneasy until Ann explained it was for the health and safety of Melinda and that these were non-negotiable as they severely impacted Melinda's own health. Ann told them that every single adult member of their family was to have lessons on how to properly use an EpiPen and what to do in case Melinda ever came into contact with any of her allergens as she was deathly allergic to all seafood, tree nuts, and peanuts. Ann explained that even smelling these items, including on someone's breath could send her into anaphylactic shock. They were not allowed consume these items within twenty-four hours of coming into contact with Melinda and if they touched these items they needed to wash their hands thoroughly before coming near her, and if Melinda was to be in their house they could not keep these items around and everything would have to be sanitized that ever came into contact with these ingredients.

Ann went on to explain that every single ingredient must be carefully checked as there were things you might not expect to contain those allergens to actually have them, with Ann using Worcestershire sauce as an example as it was made with anchovies. Paige thought she was being ridiculous, but Piper knew just how serious food allergies were being a chef, and promised that she would immediately get rid of those ingredients and make sure no one ate them around Melinda. Leo said he would have a word with Mrs. Winterbourne, who would be Melinda's teacher, and that they could speak to her and give her instructions from there. Stuart told them that they weren't being paranoid and that they were just trying to protect Melinda, but that that the Halliwell's did not have to cover the cost of Melinda's EpiPen or hospital visits if anything ever happened, they would make sure to give them a copy of Melinda's insurance card and would provide the EpiPens and refills for both the school and anyone who ever needed them. After both sides were satisfied with the current terms, they came to an agreement, allowing Melinda to be part of both family's lives.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar.

The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didnโ€™t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way. When she reached the first hills of the Italic Mountains, she had a last view back on the skyline of her hometown Bookmarksgrove, the headline of Alphabet Village and the subline of her own road, the Line Lane. Pityful a rethoric question ran over her cheek, then she continued her way. On her way she met a copy.

The copy warned the Little Blind Text, that where it came from it would have been rewritten a thousand times and everything that was left from its origin would be the word "and" and the Little Blind Text should turn around and return to its own, safe country. But nothing the copy said could convince her and so it didnโ€™t take long until a few insidious Copy Writers ambushed her, made her drunk with Longe and Parole and dragged her into their agency, where they abused her for their projects again and again. And if she hasnโ€™t been rewritten, then they are still using her.

Thank you for accepting/requesting me as a friend.

My name is Ezra Wolfe Sr.ย  Single father to twins Ezra Wolfe Jr. and Annabella Wolfe.
I also happen to have a wolf child, that I mistakenly turned while trying to save her from a vampire attack.ย
With guilt on my mind, I took her in after she said her goodbyes to her parents in fear that she would in fact become a creature I would never let any mortal become.ย  Though my twins are still getting used to her being around the house.

Now, I'm the son of Former Alpha Leader Mitchell Wolfe and Former Luna Cassandra Wolfe of Silver Moon Pack. This making me the new Alpha Leader of the Pack. I'm the older half-brother to Juliet and Maxwell Wolfe.ย However, I'm unknowingly the biological son of Prue Halliwell and the nephew to Piper and Phoebe Halliwell as well as the nephew of Paige Matthews. This means I'm the older cousin to their children.

Despite me being born a witch, my wolf side is more dominant.ย ย
