It was a typical, rainy morning at 7:11 am in London Bridge Hospital, when Aden Jaxon was born, the only child to Jaxon and Andrea Young. This baby would grow up in a healthy household with everything he could ever want at his disposal. His mother was a big shot, renowned lawyer and his father was well respected in the journalism community, so they were and still are able to provide for him in many ways other families couldn’t afford. As a child, Aden was very aware of his privilege and he and his family would constantly donate to the community around them. The Young family was, needless to say, well appreciated in the city of London, and continued to rise in popularity as Aden grew older. Eventually, they would catch the attention of the Royal family, introducing them to a world of more possibilities.
Their relationship with the Royal Family helped Aden’s father move further up in the journalism community, as Aden started attending some of the most elite schools in the United Kingdom. As a student, Aden was a hard worker and had an insatiable drive for knowledge. Anyone who knew him knew that while Aden’s status was certainly boosted by his relationship with the royals, it wasn’t the sole reason he received the opportunities he did. Despite this, though, Aden decided from a young age that he wanted to go to school somewhere that most individuals weren’t aware of the connections he had. This would not happen until Aden reached his secondary school years, where he would attend Phillips Exeter Academy, located in Exeter, New Hampshire, United States.
As a student at Exeter, Aden was a member of multiple athletic teams, including the Fall varsity cross country team, the Winter varsity swimming team, and the Spring varsity baseball team. He also participated in multiple student-ran organizations, such as the Daniel Webster Debate Society and Student Council. Like at home, Aden was very well liked by his peers and well known by the Exeter community, but for once, he didn’t have to question whether or not it was about his connections with royalty. His time at Exeter could have potentially guaranteed him a spot in some of the best schools in the United States, but after his time spent there, he found a passion for public relations and would instead seek out the best programs in the country for it, which led him to the University of Southern California’s. He would graduate from there with his bachelor of arts degree in public relations in May 2017, after three years of attendance.
Aden’s hard work, along with a generous letter of recommendation from the Royal family, would also help get him into the award-winning public relations and corporate communications master’s program at Georgetown University, where he would graduate at the top of his class in August 2018. After graduating from Georgetown, Aden made one final move in the United States, up to New York City, where he lives today. With his father’s referral, Aden would apply for a position at the Wall Street Journal (his father worked at the London branch for the company) and become a publicist for its main headquarters in New York.
