Helena took the last name Faith to protect her daughter and also took over as her master, during the jedi purge(Order 66) Helena watched as the few clones with Raptor turned their guns on their clone brothers to protect Master Faith and her padawan Elsa from blaster fire, Helena was crouched holding Elsa's face telling her to run and go with her pink droid R2-KT to safety while she turned igniting her green blade, with one last kiss to Raptor he picked Elsa up and carried her to safety.
The last time Elsa Frost saw her mother was her fighting her clones, after getting to her mothers blockade runner and Raptor ordering the little droid to get his daughter to safety, as the ship left Elsa could see her father and his few men fighting against the clones before disappearing, Elsa was alone in a unforgiving galaxy with no one but her little R2 with her.
