A normal life wasn't in the cards for the Braedens, sure, Dean Winchester had left and he'd left them with no memory of who the hell Dean Winchester was. Did you think everything was going to be normal? They may not remember, but other things? The things the Winchesters hunt? They remember. At fifteen Ben had his first brush with the supernatural world.-At least the first one he could remember that is.- The comics, the movies and all that, there was some truth to it. You thought that Ben's connection to Dean ended with Lisa? Well you thought wrong.Lisa had her secrets-why tell Ben's dad that he's a dad, if he wasn't going to stick around anyway? Not that she remembered now. Ben might not've grown up in the hunting life, but it doesn't stop that life from hunting down every last Winchester. Does Adam Milligan ring a bell? A half brother to the Winchester boys, lived a normal life just like Ben and it still caught up with him.
It was more than scraped knees and bruised knuckles from trying to help somebody in need,
Ben was a self taught hunter. He made it a habit to sneak out when his mom was asleep to take on nearby cases. At seventeen he had more than a dozen hunts under his belt. It wasn't without fail though, every hunter had to practice. Lisa did her best to keep Ben in line, but the simple fact of the matter was, Ben would run away if necessary. He had packed a bag a few times and waited for the right moment, he'd eventually come back home. The way things were going? Ben Braeden was sure to cross paths with the Winchesters again.
