Jesse Parker had quite an interesting life. He had no idea that the guy he thought was his dad, the town's sheriff wasn't actually his dad but step dad. Jesse was popular guy in school and dated a popular girl. Yet he had always been a good guy. Jesse didn't know an other way but being good and he liked it. Also, as a child he died only to be revived by an angel. Who happened to be Jesse's actual father. Growing up he always thought it was a dream or something, until he met a young woman named Christina and not long after that, he found out that it was real but he still had no clue that the guy was his dad.
The day Christina showed up in his life he had to save her, as she fell off her father's boat or so called father's boat into the water, when Jesse worked as a lifeguard at the beach, that particular summer. Unknown to him and others she didn't really fell but was pushed in. Jesse took her to the local doctor's home and left her there to call for his dad. He believed that she was safe which was good enough for him. As Jesse trusted the family, who ended up becoming her foster/Adopted family as she stayed with them, which he was glad as he spend as much time as he could with her. The longer they spend time together the more they fell for each other.
Unknown to them there were forces that worked against him and her, as well as agsinst their love. No one but her step so called dad, and his employee Boyd, and some others but Jesse, and the family that she stayed with and she herself had no clue about who she was or anything like that. Jesse's ex didn't like her from the start and abused her a lot just because she felt like it, as he tried to stop it but with no luck, unfortunately, and as Christina found out about herself she used her powers against Jesse's ex, unknown to him and others, especially bad guys even if she didn't want to.
Jesse ended up having enough of the town as he decided to leave, the same time and day that Christina was kicked out from her new home with her foster/adopted family by her own foster/step sister for keeping secrets, and for the fact that strange things happened around her. Both Christina and Jesse ended up on the same bus to out if town Point Pleasant. Unfortunately, they didn't get much further before an accident happened caused by the devil, Lucifer, the birth father of Christina, unknown to Jesse. Yet, Christina had a feeling that it had to do with her birth father and such. Jesse and Christina shared a kiss a while later, where he saw a terrifying future and so did she but they let it be, especially since he thought that it was just fear or such, and nothing more or less than that. As he doubted that it would happen.
Especially since Jesse still had no idea who she was or such. In fact he had no clue tnat his dad was god and her dad was Lucifer. Or anything like that. Due to not knowing any of it he got closer and closer to her. Jesse also felt and believed that she was a good person and not evil as some thought. Despite the odd things that happened after she arrived which he saw as by chance. Jesse had no clue that he being with her kept her grounded and good, as she needed to be and that if he left her or tried to kill her or both then she would go dark, as her father wanted her to do. In fact Jesse had no idea that if everyone she trusted betrayed her than she would turn evil as Boyd and her birth father wanted her to do. Then again if he knew that then he would freak out but then he would try to get good people's help to keep her on the right side.
Jesse felt like he could trust her and be with her. They continued to spend time together as Christina unknown to him got close to her foster/adopted sister once more as she told her everything. Jesse did the best that he possibly could to keep her safe from anyone who wished her harm. Despite the fact that unexplained things still happened around her. Jesse and Christina fast became boyfriend and girlfriend, as he helped her as much as he possibly could.
