Physical Description Katherine is an extraordinarily beautiful and seductive young woman: she had an oval face with fine bone structure, a wealth of brown curly hair, and almond-shaped, deep brown eyes with thick dark lashes. Katherine's hair naturally had loose or tight curls. She favors a dark smoky eye with thick winged eyeliner, and her choice in lipstick was a darker, sultry pink appearance. Katherine is seen wearing either leggings or dark super-skinny jeans to show off her fit figure, along with either blue, purple, or black tank tops. She would almost always wear a black leather jacket over her clothes, either cropped, full length, buttoned, or with a zipper. Katerina (Katherine) Petrova was born into a noble and wealthy Bulgarian family on June 5, 1473. In 1490, when she was about 16 or 17 years of age, Katerina became pregnant by an unknown man, a Traveler, and her family disowned her for the shameful birth of an illegitimate daughter. She carried the child to term, but seconds after her daughter's birth, Katerina's father took the child away and gave the child to another family, claiming it would be better for both of them to never see one another. Katerina was devastated by this and was banished to England, where she admitted to "quickly becoming English." In 1492, she met Trevor, who introduced her to Lord Elijah, who in turn introduced her to his younger brother, Lord Niklaus. Katerina was attracted to Klaus, until she found out what he was, and that he was planning on using her as a sacrifice to break the Hybrid Curse placed on him. She escaped with the help of Trevor, who had fallen in love with her. He led her pursuers astray and told her to go east to a cottage in the woods where she would be safe. When she arrived at the cottage, Katerina met a vampire named Rose. When Rose found out that Katerina had escaped from Klaus with the moonstone, she locked her in a room and told her that she would take her back to Klaus as soon as the opportunity arose, not wanting to suffer Klaus' wrath. Katerina tried to commit suicide by stabbing herself with a knife, saying she would rather die than go back to Klaus, but Rose force-fed her some of her blood to heal her. When Rose turned her back to confront Trevor, Katerina hung herself with a length of rope.
Later, when Katerina woke up in transition, Trevor asked why she did it and claimed he would have helped her live. Katerina responds by saying that he would have been able to help her run and that running was never going to be enough. Rose then explained to Trevor that Katerina used him to escape, and, knowing Klaus would find out their role in the escape, Rose attempted to kill Katerina with a stake. Katerina used the owner of the cabin as a shield, which resulted in her death. Katerina then gave in to her instincts and drained the little old lady, completing her transition into a vampire. She then threw the body towards Rose and Trevor and fled into the night. Katerina returned to Bulgaria in the later months of 1492 to find her entire family brutally slaughtered by Klaus. She knew he had done it as revenge for her escape and subsequent transition. She was last seen weeping over her mother's dead body. Katherine may have stolen the spell for making Daylight Amulets from Esther's grimoire before fleeing from Klaus as this may explain how Emily was able to make Katherine, Bethanne, Pearl, Anna and Harper daylight rings and her a necklace in 1864. Sometime during 1498, Katherine returned to Bulgaria after escaping from Klaus. Katherine searched every village and cottage for her daughter, Nadia Petrova, who was eight at the time, but had no luck in finding her. 372 years had passed when Katerina arrived in Mystic Falls, Virginia in 1864, by which time she had taken the name Katherine Pierce, presumably to avoid detection by Klaus.
Born in England, Lovejoy emigrated to America where he was a former Pinkerton's private investigator and cop. He was later hired by Cal's father to take care of him. Given his background, Lovejoy was very perceptive, able to notice that Jack had time to remove his coat and shoes before saving the supposedly imminently dangered Rose. He could also watch someone while being unseen, and was, therefore, able to spy on Rose for Cal.
He's also very persuasive, first convincing two crewmen to escort Jack out of first-class and later persuading the Master of Arms to leave him with a restrained Jack; he only had to show his gun to do so.
He also wields a pistol. Though he never got a chance to use it to demonstrate his skill, one could presume he was a talented marksman. He's also quite fast, able to chase Jack and Rose throughout the ship although he failed to catch them due to a locked door.
He's a capable fist-fighter, able to hold his own against Jack, even managing to lift him out of the water and throw him.

Caledon Nathan Hockley was born in 1882. He was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Not much was known of his early life or his parents, but it is said his father was Nathan Hockley, a successful American Pittsburgh steel tycoon who was very respected and powerful. His mother was never mentioned, and it is assumed both his parents were dead by the time of the Titanic's voyage. He's tall, standing at 6'½" (1.84 m). He's also known to have traveled to England where he met Rose and her mother Ruth DeWitt Bukater. Ruth arranged a marriage between Rose and Cal, despite Rose's dislike towards him, and they were to marry in Philadelphia after their voyage on Titanic. Not much else is known about his early life.
Cal is an exceptional liar, persuading Rose that she must get on the lifeboat and that he would offer Jack safety aboard a lifeboat that he had arranged personally. He also convinced first-class passengers that Jack had stolen the Heart of the Ocean necklace from him, having had Lovejoy place it in the artist's pocket beforehand. He was so good that Jack, a skilled liar in his own right, admitted that Cal was better than him. Cal also convinced Henry Wilde that a third class child he found was his own, successfully gaining him acceptance on to a lifeboat.
Cal is able to use a pistol, having the skill to swipe it from Lovejoy and shoot at Jack and Rose; though none of his shots landed. He could also bribe people, managing to use his wealth to pay for passage on to a lifeboat, though Murdoch revoked that privilege when he realized money couldn't save them.
Hockley was extremely arrogant and narcissistic. Partly due to his status and upbringing, he was a spoiled brat and was used to getting his own way, and despised when this did not happen. When Rose chose Jack over him, he even went as far as attempting to murder them both. He was suave, yet cruel.
His suicide in the aftermath of the Wall Street Crash illustrates how he built his entire sense of self-worth upon his wealth and status, the only things in life he regarded as being of any value. As a result of being born into wealth, he had a great sense of entitlement and was unhabituated to any sort of financial hardship or misfortune.

There's been a peace inside of New Orleans for seven years, ever since the Mikaelson's were separated, each of them taking a piece of the Hollow with them and vowing never to set foot near one another again. But times are changing and family can't be separated forever. The pull of the Hollow is stronger then ever as it tries to reunite the members of the Mikaelson family, succeeding first with Klaus Mikaelson who visits his brother Elijah in France, and then with Rebekah. Water turns to blood as the plot ever thickens. Freya and Vincent believe they have found a way to keep the Hollow from re-entering Hope Mikaelson, but this spell requires the family uniting once again to bring her to wake. It's risky, but it may be the only way to defeat this horrible evil once and for all. But with this solution, there are two problems. Hayley Marshall is missing and Elijah has been compelled to forget "Always and Forever" and in that compulsion has forgotten who he was, thust rebuilding a new life for himself. Determined to avoid the Mikaelson family at all costs, he brutally shot Klaus' down. In his claims to not care about the family, or Hayley any longer, he's destroyed any hope his brother once had. Defeated, Klaus returned to New Orleans claiming Elijah was not in France, but Freya's tracking spell proved otherwise.
Having found her brother, Freya took Hope to France in an effort to bring Elijah home once and for all. Elijah's mind was set in stone - he would not be returning to New Orleans, not even at Hope's request. But Antoinette's heart was softened for the child. Hope's tears were real, and Antoinette knew the young girl desperately wanted to be reunited with her mother. In that, Antoinette succeeds in what no one else has. Elijah has agreed, for her sake, to return with his family. His only conditions are that Antoinette will join and fight alongside them, and no harm will be brought to her by Klaus, or any other family members. In agreement, Hope and Freya give their word and bring Elijah and Antoinette back to New Orleans.
Once home, and also reuinted with Kol, Freya and Vincent cast their spell, protecting Hope from the power of the Hollow. The pieces of the Hollow leave the four siblings and in their attempt to reunite and failing, the Hollow forms and vanishes without a trace. Confused, yet relieved, the family is once again reunited, now able to reside together once more. Cheers and celebrations commence, until they hear a figure moving towards them - Aurora de Martel - newest host to the Hollow.
Will there never be rest in New Orleans? Can the Mikaelson's defeat the Hollow once and for all? Is everyone doomed to perish and die? That is up for us to determine.
