Anya had grown weary of being cooped up inside her father's castle. She was allowed to go outside but usually with her mother or a guard watching her every move. Something had to be done, she thought to herself as she managed to sneak out of the castle and go forth into the Underworld. She had been there a few times as a child but usually holding her father's hand along the way through the numerous tunnels that were set before them. Anya looked around, seeming to remember which was to go for awhile until her memory made her unsure of which path to take.
She said a few words in a whispered tone, causing a small purple fireball to appear in her hand. To her, it didn't burn her flesh but it would hurt another creature if they were to be touched by it. She wandered around the stone labyrinth for what seemed like an eternity before she stopped. She turned her head hearing howling and then a deep loud growl. She teleported about thirty feet away from where she had stopped to give herself someone of a chance to get away. Anya knew that the light hounds resided down here but not all of them knew who she was like Shadow did. She ran down one path after another trying to find some clue to get out.
Soon she found herself cornered by a pack of hounds growling and snarling their teeth at her. She was backed up against the cold stone wall, a small wand appearing in her hand ready to defend herself. Anya's breath caught in her throat as she saw the large looming shadow of who she assumed was the dragon Smaug. "Hounds...Smaug stand down! Cereberus would not like you fighting me!" She yelled as the flame in her one hand grew larger and now bright blue.
The hounds then backed down after hearing a voice from behind them. Anya recognized the voice immediately and let out a sigh of relief as the wand in her hand disappeared. "Yes I know but i was getting cabin fever being stuck in our castle. I really desired a change of scenery." She lowered her head knowing Persephone was right and that she would probably get in trouble of wandering off on her own. "I do remember you,"she said something pulling a small vial on a leather cord from beneath her shirt. It contained a small white flower in it still in full bloom,"you made me a flower crown with these flowers and i managed to keep this one alive with the magic I've learned."
