Growing up felt a bit awkward for Rocky, as her mother was considered to be a witch of sorts. Thankfully, Rocky did not inherent that green skin from her. Magic was the only thing she did inherent from her mother, although she hid it for most of her life. Her father was considered many things by different people, but the only constant thing he always was for her was supportive. Her father taught her to be kind to others and to give back when she had more than someone else.
Her mother constantly berated her for being kind to others and began to treat her horribly. Her father did everything to keep her kind, even after they finally divorced one another. Zelena wouldn't let him have full custody of her or her siblings, so she stayed with her mother mainly. Occasionally, she had seen her father, but only when her mother said.
Rocky is actually a kind person and truly tries her best, sometimes her mother's personality comes out in her though. Having a hard life can truly change a person, but Rocky is first and foremost a kind person.
