Evan "Buck" Buckley was born to Evan and Angela Buckley. He has an older sister Maddie. His father was a fireman who worked along side of Bobby Nash. His mother was a nurse. His mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed when he was 14 years of age. His father passed after going to help fight a forest fire along the California/Oregon border. He died a hero doing what he loved. At the time of his death his daughter Maddie, age 30 was off in the Navy Seals working as a medic. Buck who was just 17 was left to be taken care of by Bobby Nash.
Bucks tragic loss of his parents is more than likely the result of him becoming a self diagnosed sex addict. Turning to women in the hopes of finding one to mend his broken heart after losing his mother. After the loss of his parents, his fathers partner Bobby took Buck under his wing. Bobby has helped Buck turn his life around. He helped him get a good job as a first responder for the LAFD. Buck has also met and fallen in love with a woman who forever changed him. Abby makes Buck a better man and he loves her very much. They will soon be welcoming a little girl.
Abby nodded as she wiped a tear, she would sit there for as long as it took, she didnāt want to lose Buck, She was thankful that Bobby was there however, āThanks Bobby, Iām not sure if I need to tell Lil about what happened to her dad, maybe a night with Gramās and Gramps might divert her attention from her Dad not being homeā She said shrugging a bit. She had always thought of Bobby and Athena as her in laws knowing they saw Buck as a son.
Daniel looked at Maddie and shrugged āYou know our brother heās stubbornā Maddie sighed as she looked from Daniel to Buck āYou need to lay back down Evan, youāve been through a lot and you need to listen to Doctor Buckleyā She said nudging her other brotherās shoulder.
Lilly looked at the man, he looked confused , upset even and maybe if things had been different at that moment she would have let him in, asked him if she could help in some way, but now was not that time, A part of her was relieved when he had left to go back to his car.
Maddie looked at Buck with an eyebrow raised āare you sure youāre okay Evan? You know Doug and I donāt have kidsā She said, she put her sleeve down, in an attempt to hide the bruises on her arm.

Abby had known Buckās job was dangerous, she knew that from the day they met, but she was always proud of him, He was out there on the front line saving lives, still she had always waited for *that* call, *that* Moment when her life would change, Tonight was that day and as she rushed to the hospital she feared the worst.
She barely remembered driving to the hospital, She didnāt want to bring Lil to the hospital, especially if something horrible had happened, She didnāt need to see her daddy hooked up to all the machineās , so she calledĀ a neighbourĀ to come and watch Lil, She wasnāt ready to answer her daughterās questions.
Abby had wiped the tears she could no longer hold in as she spoke to Bobby āI..I would like to sit with him for awhile, but I appreciate you , I think Iām okay for now, maybe need some food and picking Lil up from school, I..I just need him to be betterā She stated as she entered the room and held Buckās hand.
Daniel saw his younger brother trying to leave the hospital room he had an eyebrow raised as he spoke āwhat are you doing? You had quite a fall, Do you even remember falling off a ladder? Which I have to say was a real bone headed Move!ā He said toĀ him, he of course was teasing his little brother which had been usual for the two of them, at least in this Coma world it was.
Lilly had just gotten her baby daughter to sleep, and Scotty had been exhausted not only due to work but because their baby had not slept through the night any more and often times had woken the two of them up, he had been cuddling their baby Ashley as he slept as well, She had been annoyed when the doorbell rang, she swung the door open with an annoyed face upon her face and her screaming baby who was awoken in her arms āSorry, You have the wrong Ā house, there is no Abby here!ā She said she had perhaps sounded rude to him, but she had been rather sleep deprived so she felt as though it was justified.

Del had never realised that in her own little way working at her Dadās firehouse would not only ensure her safety but his as well, sure she was apprehensive at first but now she was grateful, and it might just be fun. She grinned as she looked at him āSo was that your doing? Cap?ā She asked him teasingly.
From day one Del had been more so like her dad then she had been her mom, why would working has a firefighter now be any different. She looked at him wondering if he had heard from Gramps and if he was doing well, She knew Gramps would be proud of her dad. She nodded as she spoke āDo you think weāll find anyone alive?ā She asked biting her lower lip.
Del nodded as she looked at her Dad, She was worried about her Aunt Karen but more so worried about her Aunt Hen and what she might be feeling, did she even know? āGotcha!ā She said as she walked through the building, she squirmed a little when she saw the body on the floor āCap.. You gotta see this!!ā She mentioned waving her dad down.
Lilly had looked up at Buck as he spoke to her, she had never been this in love with anyone before Scotty, so knowing that Buckās firehouse did their best to save his life, and the kindness shown towards her had meant a great deal. She nodded as she spoke āIāve heard you have the best hereā She wasnāt sure what hospital they were taking him to but she figured it wasĀ good one because of where they had been located right then.
Clifton shrugged as he looked at Athena, these people didnāt know what he was capable of, who he knew, she said he may have been in jail for a long time but she knew he would be either freed or he would escape āwhateverā he said waving her off. Lilly looked at Sgt Grant, She wasnāt mad she understood she was only doing her job, how many times had she herself done the same thing. āHis wife is my sister, his daughter is my niece, heās extremely abusive, I had to rescue my sister and niece from him, that was three years ago.. he nearly killed my sister and My poor little niece had been neglectedā she offered, hoping the information she gave her was enough for her to understand that Clifton Harper was a really bad man.
āWith you as a dad, Iām sure sheāll be good at itā She offered as she looked at Buck, she meant it, he saved her husband, and he and his wife had saved her as well as her foster mom when she was much smaller, so she knew his daughter Lil would be an amazing Paramedic just as he was an amazing Firefighter.
Lilly looked at him nodding her head āOh, yeah heās fineā She offered, It didnāt dawn on her that Buck may have thought that Scotty was in that building for whatever reason, She shook her head as she spoke once again āIām here because my best friend Katās twin sister Karen works here, she heard about the explosion and rushed over hereā She said, she had no idea that Buck had known Karen personally.
When Del had finished school and training, she wanted to be out on her own, she did not want to have any sort of nepotism at play, so when her father had told her she would be joining his station she was angry at first, but now she had realised he only did itĀ to keep her safe, plus these people were already like a family to her,Ā after all she had grown up at the 118. She smiled as she took the assignment and spoke āThank you Dadā She looked at the number and chuckled a bit as she shook her head ādidnāt this use to be your locker back when you were a Probie?ā She had asked him half teasingly.
Del had rushed to her locker and suited up in no time at all, she then rushed over to the fire truck next to Stewart who had been a bit later then her āChop Chop guys time is moneyā She said jokingly, Stewart had rolled his eyes a bit āSuck upā Eddie looked over at Del, He was just as protective of her as Buck had been, after all he was her āUncleā , he earned that right being Buckās best friend āBuckley, Youāre with meā He offered motioning to the front of the truck.
āGot it Capā Del had mentioned, she wasnāt about to call him Dad at work, She wanted to make a name for herself not ride on the coat tails of her father. She bit her lip as she looked up at the sign āHey Dad,ā She began speaking so that no one else could here her, in this instant she felt it was important to call him dad, especially after her discovery ā..Isnāt this where Aunt Karen works?ā She asked
Lilly looked at him, She had felt a little better knowing the first responders were there, she however still had a difficult time letting go of Scottyās hand āThā¦Thanksā she stammered, it wasnāt truly like her to break down in the manner she did in that moment but then again she had never been this in love before. She wanted to say Scotty wasnāt her husband, he was her fiancee but she also figured now was not the time to correct him.
Clifton sighed as he looked at the cop, he truly wished he had taken the moron out instead of just injuring him, but he should have known that Lilly would have been there to save her lovers life. He heard what the Lady Cop said and chuckled a bit āYeah well Iāll be out in a day or two and no matter what happens Iāll get my daughter and Wife back!ā He yelled, he couldnāt do much however being handcuffed to the bed.
She nodded as she looked at him, he wasnāt kidding life had changed for the better at least on her end, and seeing the happiness on his face she had to assume he was happy as well, She looked over to the teenager that he had been looking at and bit her lip āIs that..Lil? your daughter? The one named after me?ā She asked. She took in a breath and breathed a sigh of relief when he said Scotty would be fine, She jumped in to the ambulance holding his hand as she spoke to Buck again āThanks again for saving himā She stated.
It had been a few months after Scotty had beenĀ stabbed, The two had currently been married and she was even more pregnant then prior, so much so she couldnāt truly hide it anymore, Life had been good , that had been until Kat had called her in tears , there had been an explosion at her twin sisterās place of work, it was there the two were currently , Lilly shook her head āKat, sheās going to be okay, you know that.. I bet they have the best fire stations hereā¦..ā She was going to say more when she saw the 118 , She raced over to the Captain and smiled āā¦Buck?!!ā She offered

Alex nodded as she looked at Evan, She knew he was right but she still wished she could have done more, she wished she could have had her dumb ass half brother Doug thrown in jail or something like that. āI suppose youāre right but maybe things were different if he was in jail.. if I testified or somethingā¦ā She began. She shrugged as she said āI know she does now but as a child Iām sure she hated meā She said biting her lip a bit, not being to save Destinee so long ago had still been a sore spot for her.
Maddie chuckled as she spoke āI know, but we are all always our own worst critics, She is no different then the rest of usā She said then added āShe is an amazing singer thoughā She truly was glad he had someone like Abby to love āOkay great, Iāll see you thenā She stated.
Maddie chuckled as she said āI know but apparently she loves her cousin moreā she said teasing. Alex looked at Abby and smacked her forehead as she said āNow I feel horrible, I thought she was your motherĀ in law, but it is great to meet you Abbyā she said. Abby chuckled and said āWe get that a lot, I am so glad I met you as well, even more glad you saved Maddie so long agoā She said kindly.
Lilly stopped hiding her love, or the fact that she and Scotty were in a relationship awhile back, they tried to keep things a secret for quite some time but once she had discovered she was pregnant She couldnāt hide it any more, and now with his life in the hands of these first responders she was quite obvious, her grip on his hand was so tight and she was clearly sobbing. āPlease.. Just.. save him.. I.. canāt live without himā She said as Buckley had spoken to her.
She watched as they prepared him for transport, she heard brief words that somehow made her a lot less scared then before, words such as āstableā , maybe things would be okay for her after all.
Clifton Harper glaredĀ over at the Cop and shook his headĀ āYeah? You think heās so perfect.. Him and his little girlfriend?.. That little woman of his tried to kill me, they took my wife and kidā¦ Did you know that?!!ā He asked , Sure he deserved what they did to him but in his twisted mind he thought they were at fault.. He then added āI should have killed his Girl tooā He snickered.
Lilly couldnāt believe how she had seen the man who saved her life so many years prior, how lucky she had been, things had come full circle, first he saved her life and now he was saving her fianceeās āI..I didnāt recognise you at firstā She said wiping her tears. Stewart had followed Buck to the other injured person who just happened to be the man who stabbed this womanās lover, why they had to save him was beyond him but it was all a part of the job.
A part of Lilly wanted to know why the hell they were even going toĀ save the Doerās life, He was an awful human being who had near taken Scottyās life, She wanted to take him out herself, but she also knew Scotty wouldnāt let her do that, he stopped her from killing him once before, She nodded as she wiped the tears from her eyes at this point she was certain it was more so the baby hormones then it had been nearly losing the love of her life. āHeāā¦ Heās going to be okay?ā She asked him.
Alex shrugged as she spoke āI mean I did my best to help her out, Iām sorry Doug still found her, and Iām even more sorry that I wasnāt there to protect her from himā She said sighing. She shook her head as she spoke āI didnāt really have anyone in my life that I could protect like that, well I mean I had a cousin but I failed at protecting herā she offered sighing once again. She laughed as she said āHonestly we all have that crush when we were kidsā She said indicating she knew about the crush back then.
Maddie shrugged as she spoke to him āI mean I suppose but You and Abby are good at it as wellā she said, she had always thought he and Abby made a cute couple even if she was a bit older then him, that didnāt matter to her. She bit her lip āUh I donāt think so but if you truly want to you can bring a side salad or somethingā she said to him.
Maddie nodded as she went to answer the door, She watched as her niece ran past her and to her cousin, She shook her head āand what am I , Chopped liver?ā She asked. Alex and Raj had already arrived, She had seen Buck with another woman and a child. She had met Maddie and Buckās mom so she knew it wasnāt his mom, perhaps the mother of his wife she had thought to herself.
Lilly couldnāt hide the tears she felt, this man was her life, he was her rock , She was so blinded by her fears of losing him that she didnāt truly realise that this guy had saved her when she was a child.. Not yet anyway. She had sobbing when Captain Buckley and his team had been working on Scotty, She had a tight grip on his hand.
She shook her blonde locks as she looked at the captain, āNo.. I .. I canāt.. I need to be with himā She heard him call Scotty her husband and she didnāt bother correcting him, I mean they were engaged, and in all actuality had been more then likely married in their hearts since the day the got together. Eddie looked at the woman and gently pried her off of her loved one āI promise you heās in good hands, but youāre not doing yourself any good if you donāt let us check you outā He said kindly, She could tell she was spiralling āI am fireman Diaz and I promise you our team will do our bestā He said.
Del too had heard the Walkie (Iām assume itās one of those that can be heard by everyone who has one on them, and Iām also assuming she has one on her as well) She frownedĀ wanting to help but she wasnāt quiet as reckless as her dad had been, she assumed this man was very dangerous if he was willing to try and off a officer of the law. āBe careful Grams, You know Gramps will never forgive us if something happened to youā The Doer looked at the cop and sighed āSon of a Bitch? That ass shot me? .. Was it before or after I killed him?ā He asked assuming Valens had died.
Lilly sat in the ambulance, She supposed these people were right, God Forbid she lost this baby and the man she loved all on the same day. She listened to the Captain and bit her lip āRush.. Detective Lilly Rushā she said. Del nodded as she put the cuff on Lilly āYou got itā She looked at the woman and questioned āLilly, Iām Delilah Buckley, Your husband.. Heās in good hands, My dad is the bestā She offered. Lilly looked at her āBuckley?? Are you?.. Lil?ā She looked at the young woman then back to Captain Buckley āI..
