Once upon a time on June 22,1992 there was a vampire name Katherine Pearce and she had overheard that her descent Isobel was having twin girls and she was going to give them away because she nor the father of her babies didn’t want them. So she had a plan to steal one of them since she had her baby taken away years ago when her name was Katerina Petrova. She went to where Isobel was giving birth to the twins at. Isobel pushed out the first girl who was going to go home with Grayson who was the brother of John who was the father of both girls. And when the second one was born was given to Katherine who was disguised a nurse and took off with the baby. When Grayson went to get the baby the nurse and the baby were gone. No one knew where they went and since no one knew about Isobel being pregnant they didn’t say anything. Once Katherine and the baby were safe she looked at the baby girl and smiled naming her Shilo Nadia Pearce. After naming the little girl Katherine held Shilo close and promised her that she would always keep safe and out of harm’s way. And the start of that was finding a place for her and Shilo. Katherine found a house and started taking care of Shilo. Katherine took very good care of Shilo and loved her like Shilo was her own daughter that was taken away from her many years ago. Katherine and Shilo stayed in Yorkshire for two years and left because Katherine couldn’t stay in one place for too long because she was on the run from Klaus because she had took something from him. But since she had Shilo to take care of and promised her that she would keep her safe. Katherine found another small town and moved right into a house. Katherine was starting to teach Shilo normal things you would teach toddlers. Shilo picked up everything quick and fast but Katherine didn’t put her in preschools or anything. Years went on and they were still on the run when Shilo was five Katherine enrolled her in school but then would leave at the end of the school years. And told Shilo to never tell anyone the truth if anyone asked her why she has been in so many different schools and just say that its cause of her mom’s job. Shilo had to lie and say that Katherine was her mom but she always called Katherine mama Katherine. By the time Shilo hit thirteen and was packing things up for the next move Shilo came across a box that said keep away from Klaus and there was a picture of him on the box. She went to ask Katherine about it and Katherine finally came clean with everything. Katherine told Shilo that she was a vampire and told her about her life as a human and that Klaus wanted to use her to break a curse and that she stole a stone from him and have been running ever since. Shilo couldn’t stop staring at the picture and Katherine noticed and told her don’t even dare think about liking him and if she sees him she better run. But Shilo couldn’t help the crush on him and didn’t care how bad he was. Shilo kept asking about Klaus and Katherine couldn’t take it anymore and compelled Shilo to stop asking questions about him. As they were on the run Katherine noticed that Shilo was looking like her and was now scared that Shilo and her twin were now doppelgangers like she is and if she was caught Klaus would use her. So Katherine did the only one thing she could. She took Shilo to Mysticfalls and brought her to the Salvatore boarding house. She found man was now living in the boarding and it was still used as a boarding house. The man introduced himself to her as Zach Salvatore and Katherine asked if Stefan still lived there and Zach said he comes by now and then she smiled and compelled Zach telling him everything and if he saw Stefan to tell him about Shilo and once he tells Stefan he will forget that he met Katherine Pearce. She said good bye to Shilo and Shilo started to live Zach. Living in one place and not moving every year felt strange to her but she was slowly getting used to it all. But as days went on Zach and Shilo talked and bonded that they became like father and daughter. Then one day Stefan showed up and saw Shilo and asked Zach who is she and then Zach took him into another room where Shilo couldn’t hear them talk and told him everything that Katherine had said. Stefan thought it was strange but he went with it. Stefan introduced himself to Shilo and they started talking and bonded they became like brother sister. Zach and Stefan knew that Shilo had to be hidden since that’s what Katherine told Zach who then told Stefan. So because they have to keep her hidden they decided to have her home schooled and hired someone to teach her. Shilo was trapped in the house cause she had to stay hidden but ended up sneaking out every night just to get out and try to have some fun. But then when she was sixteen she finally got caught by Stefan who told her to go to bed since Zach was asleep and the three of them could talk about it in the morning. They did talk about it the next day and her punishment was to organize the attic. When she did that she found a picture of Stefan with a man standing next to him. She took the picture to Stefan and asked him and Stefan said that it was his brother Damon and to stay away from him. She didn’t understand why but she left it. Then later that year Stefan met Shilo’s twin sister Elena but kept it from Shilo and didn’t tell Elena about Shilo either. Stefan wanted to get all the facts first before doing anything because he was also dealing with his brother being back in town and having him stay away from Elena. Stefan didn’t tell him about Shilo either. Shilo was once again stuck in the house and couldn’t go anywhere her whole life felt like she was in jail or something. But after the death of Zach Stefan told Shilo about Elena and how she was a Gilbert and got her last name changed from Pearce to Gilbert. And got to meet Elena where Stefan said it would be a great idea if she got to know her real family. So she started to spend every other week with Elena and Jeremy who was their cousin but because he and Elena grew up together they all just decided to be siblings. The following year when she turned 17 Katherine came back to town and Shilo got happy because she could see mama Katherine again. But mama Katherine was working on a plan of her own and kept from Shilo when they saw each other again. In that year she finally met Klaus and thought he was more than hot. But couldn’t get anywhere near him cause she was on lock down but Elena could roam free as she pleased. Elena helped Shilo out by telling Stefan to enroll her at the high school and when he did that’s when she met Alaric who was married to her birth mom that she recently found out about after she had killed herself. She started talking to Alaric and saw him as father as they got to know each other. And then Stefan left with Klaus cause he made a deal with Klaus to save Damon’s life. Then the year of her 18th birthday she shared a birthday party with her sister who was sad cause she had lost Stefan. But Elena had hope that she would find Stefan whereas for Shilo she didn’t care cause she got freedom. She was able to do whatever she wanted and liked it. She was enjoying it and Elena couldn’t believe that she didn’t care. But then Stefan came back and he wasn’t the same Stefan when he had left. But Shilo was more into getting to know Klaus but no one let her out of sight and when they met Rebekah Klaus’ sister she was told to stay away. But she ended up being friends with Rebekah and they were always together hanging out. Everyone didn’t like that but Shilo didn’t care. And it was Rebekah that was the first one to know that Shilo had a crush on Klaus and she loved the idea since they got along so well that they were like sisters. When Klaus woke up his family and every wasn’t sure what was going to happen now but they all had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be good. They kept Shilo close by just in case they were up to something. But Shilo would escape to see Rebekah cause she was the only that treated her like she wasn’t some type of rare object that has to be kept safe. When the Mikaelson’s held a ball they all went and Shilo even dressed up for it with help from Rebekah. It was there when Elena found out that their mother was up to something through Elijah. At the ball was the first time she met actually talked to Klaus but within eye blink Stefan took her out of Klaus’ sight. Months went by since the ball and everything started to get worst and Klaus’ mom made her stepfather into a vampire by using the same spell that she did for her family. Shilo was so far out of the loop cause no one wanted her to get hurt but it was okay for Elena because she knew drill better then Shilo did. Through the whole chaos she got wind that Elena died and then she came back to life as a vampire leaving Shilo as the last human doppelganger. Then came senior year where Shilo was very lucky to have graduated but not so lucky to get into college.

Everyone was disappointed in her but she didn’t really care about going to college she was just glad that she made it through high school without being killed. When the new bad situation came into town Shilo was once again out of the loop. Shilo hated it feeling left out and not being able to do anything. She tried getting them to tell her what was going on but no one did. Within that year with everyone now starting college Katherine had returned and she had the cure that Rebekah told her that she wanted to get her hands on it. Shilo offered to help but they both failed and Elena had made Katherine take it. Now that Katherine was human it was Shilo’s turn to help Katherine out. She went back to spending time with Katherine. She didn’t like how Katherine was looking she was turning old really fast. And then she met Nadia Katherine’s daughter and told Nadia that she had not forgotten her because she had given Shilo her name as a middle name. Those two bonded and because of that Nadia couldn’t use Shilo and kept the promise of hiding her and keeping her safe. After they destroyed everything that the other side was no longer there a few people came back from the other side but Damon and Bonnie were left behind. And everyone who are vampire and magical could not be in Mystic falls. So she lives in Mystic falls with Jeremy in the boarding house who often went between Lockwood mansion and boarding house. And with this new change things were different in Mystic falls. And now she owns her own bar called the Kill Joy and since Alaric and Caroline started up the magic school Shilo teaches there since she is a witch. But from time to time she misses her wanna be big brother Stefan and her best friends Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah and Kol along with friends she had met over the years and in New Orleans.

I know if it wasn't for meeting Dean and Sam Winchester that day they saved me, and told me who they were and would sometimes "kidnap" me without my family knowing or going with them willing cause they needed my help.
