/Jackson Waters
/STORY. Jackson's life was a painted picture of wealth. He was raised with a lot of things handed to him as a child. While finances weren't an issue, his mother was a habitual cheater and his father, a crazed paranoid man. Both parents opted in throwing materialistic things at their son in hopes to pacify the neglect they left on him. When they finally did divorce, Jackson's mother became especially distant, surrounding herself with her work while his father dragged Jackson into the occasional survival training on the weekends he came over. It was there, Jackson was forced into becoming the proper boy scout/hunter that knew his way around all types of weapons no child of his young age should know. Out of both of his parents growing up, Jackson was a little closer with his father, because he at least made an attempt at trying to understand him better and it was his suicide that triggered Jackson into running away in the first place. On his eighteenth birthday, after stealing a portion of his mother's funds, Jackson found himself a small apartment; he was thrust into a new life with a new set of problems that came with being a young adult with the self sabotaging lifestyle. It went as smooth as you'd expect for a handful of years. He drank, went out to parties and made his first life changing mistake. One that quickly caught up with him ( He was actually incredibly surprised that out of his whole twenty-three years he hadn't made it sooner. ). He slept with a much older and married woman at some club— the same woman who sought him out to tell him that she was pregnant with his child and her husband wanted the child aborted. It was the kick in the ass he needed and it had him down on his knees literally begging a man he ruined unintentionally to let her keep it until it was born. So that he could raise it. Surprisingly enough, the man caved and Jackson found a sense of relief in humility. It was well worth it when he was able to first hold his son. A boy who would save Jackson's life.
