Standard Silence
Indigo hues focused on the flames below as they lit up the evening sky. Her face glowed violet and orange as she watched with no negative emotion as the chaos unfolded. Once again, she had been causing havoc, a sadistic smirk plastered across her pale lips as she peered from the roof of the aircraft hangar. The runway had a concerning silence to it as the fire crackled, burning wildly as it consumed the jet fuel from the propellered Cessna aircraft which was now in embers and ruins. Frankie thought she’d take a new spin on things. After all, burning all evidence she was behind the aircraft explosion which took control just before taking off was ideal for her. It meant she didn’t have to get her hands dirty. Her face was dusted in ash, and several odd feathers floated in the breeze as she sat on the edge of the oversized metal unit. However, the twisted angel found a small sigh leaving her vocals as her legs slowly swung over the side and above the 60-meter drop. Still. Nothing.
Not even an angry echo which wanted to reason with her. No voice of reason. Silence.
Frankie pulled her gaze reluctantly from the wreckage below as flashing lights approached on the ground and sirens were soon to be audible. The darkness of the night was able to add a dark cloak on her form; only a winged silhouette could be seen overlooking the destruction she had knowingly caused. Her jaw clenched together as her empty gaze rose to the night sky. How many people did she have to kill to get his attention? Did he enjoy her slaughtering all she could? It wasn’t even a habit anymore. The lust for causing death was dying inside the dark soul which the angel possessed. But she hadn’t succeeded in what she wanted so she could never stop. All she wanted was to speak. Just one more conversation with her Father. The creator of all life. She was going the wrong way about things, but all she wanted was a method for redemption. To find her purpose again. She knew there was something. Deep down in her rotted core, the fallen had pure intentions. She just needed to find them again.
But still. Nothing. The silence haunted her and would continue to for eternity.
