Being part of the Saviors was the only way to exist in the apocalyptic world. Although many people believed they were the enemy, what the Saviors represented was a means of survival. Negan was their leader and had taken Jeremy under his wing when he was offered Sanctuary. Negan often expressed how he saw so much of himself in the young male and recognized the  utmost potential that he held. Negan was charismatic and was very smooth with his words and Jer was manipulated into believing following under Negan and his orders, he was doing it for the right cause. Sometimes that lead to some brutal approaches when they came in contact with a new group of survivors. Everybody would fall in line under Negan as someone was always made a prime example horrifically with the end of his barb wired baseball bat, Lucille.

You either get on board and join Negan, or well... there really is no other alternative. Jeremy still didn't have the guts and would turn his head to look the other direction. If it was anybody else, Negan would of forced them to watch in a cruel manner or would make that person murder the victim in spite but he had grown a soft spot for the teenager.

An unlucky group had crossed paths with Negan and they had a leader of their very own. Rick Grimes. He wasn't the kind of guy to submit and back down especially when it came to his people. He was stubborn when fighting back. Negan didn't like being challenged and by another dominant leader. There was only room for one. He dragged out a long tune like whistle as he swung his bat side to side in his tight grasp. Clicking his teeth together with a smug grin as he walked towards the crowd that had been forced on their knees.

Jeremy stood on the sideline as his hands fidgeted in the front of his jean pockets. He knew all too well what was coming soon. In order to teach the new group a hard lesson..one of them was going to have to die. Negan began playing the Eeny, meeney, miny moe catch a tiger by it's toe song. Finishing the last note of the taunting melody, Negan raised his bat high up in the air and then slammed it down hard into the unfortunate poor dude's skull. Jer diverted his eyes quickly as he heard a loud thump followed by a cracking sound as the man's head had been shattered, and the blow alone was haunting.

Jeremy Gilbert wasn't exactly popular nor did he have many friends when he was a young boy. However, he did have one special friend that would visit him every night. Jer would be taken to a faraway place called Neverland. He hung out with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. Whether they were flying, playing hide and seek, or outwitting Pirates he always had fun with the gang. He would go there each and every night and Peter would fly him home before dawn approached. Although like all children, Jer had to grown up. He became an adolescent and began spending more time with the friends he had made in middle school. From shooting hoops to playing video games he was always with his boys.

Then things took an unexpected turn when his parents had died in a car crash on Wickery Bridge. He became withdrawn and didn't want anything to do with his Aunt or his sister, Elena. He began getting heavily involved with drugs and drinking alcohol as that was his way of coping and dealing with the loss. His old friends turned away from him and he became a loner except when he was hanging with all the other junkies.

He wasn't a fan of authority figures and back talked half of the time which often lead him in detention. Jeremy use to be such a good kid up until this traumatic point in his life. He just didn't care anymore. The only time he actually felt okay was when he got his next fix and was getting higher than a kite. His head leaning backwards as he puffed out a couple of more hits and sighed deeply. The experience of how he felt both physically and mentally was euphoric. The last time he felt this great was when he was in Neverland.

Upstairs in his bedroom, Jer was sitting at his desk and was web surfing the internet. The curtains of his window were waving in the air due to it being a windy night. At the corner of his eye, he caught a glance of a shadow figure on the carpet floor. He looked upward seeing a familiar boy standing in his room. "Peter...what are you doing here?" He asked not having seen the young male in many years and a lot of time had passed since then.

’50s
Decade dance flyers were posted all over the High school and a couple on the school's lockers. Including his own. Jeremy tore down the flyer as his eyes scanned over the details and scoffed. Jer had never been one to attend school dances, as they held no interest in them. That and he thought they were lame and not rad enough for him. He crumbled the piece of paper into a ball tightly in his hands before he aimed it towards the trashcan across the hallway and made a clear slam dunk shot. His arms raised in the arm with a victory smirk. "Smooth...real smooth cool cat." A voice teased him as he was tapped on the shoulder from behind.

He spun around immediately to the dark haired brunette. Anna Zhu. The girl he had grown a crush on. She was the only thing that was actually able to get him nervous. He chuckled with a smile. "I try...I try." He nudged his elbow into her shoulder in a playful manner still holding his goofy grin. He had been spending most of his time with her whether they were at the library hanging out or at his house and he enjoyed being in her company. Even though she was his friend, he had come to realize he was starting to see her as something more because of how he felt around her. He had developed feelings for her. He needed the right opportunity to express his hidden feelings. That's when it hit him as if he had run into the door. A facepalm moment as his eyes caught the flyer again.

As much as he hated High school dances, the answer was right in front of him. A good excuse to ask her out. Although he was not sure if it was her kind of scene either but he had to take that risk. He reached his arm back as he scratched the back of his head as he took a deep breath. His hues catching her own pair. "What are you doing tonight?" He asked as needed a leeway in. She responded she had no plans except staying in and watching Netflix and question as to why he was asking. "I was thinking... I mean it might be stupid. I don't know. But maybe...if you want. you don't have to..we could uhhh. Go to the decade dance together?"

He caught Anna's expression suddenly turning into a smile as she bit her lip, looking down at the floor before meeting his eyes again. "I would love to go. It's a date." Jeremy's face lit up immediately. "Alright, I'll see you later...here.. because that's where the dance is going be. In the auditorium." He said awkwardly with another nervous laugh as he watched her walk away. Wait, did she say date? So that meant that she liked him too?

ey kid, I need your help. Do you think you can get here in the next couple of hours? The voice on the other end of the phone asked.

"Yeah I can be there, man." Jer replied as he left the town he was currently in and headed to Mystic Falls. It had been awhile since he has last been here but he normally arrived anytime Alaric needed his help. At one point he was even offered a full job at the Salvatore boarding school but Jeremy had honestly had gotten so use to traveling that it was his lifestyle now. He didn't want to be stuck in once place too long. Welcome to Mystic Falls the greeting sign read as he drove past it and pulled into the quiet of the night. Before going to the school he decided to make a quick stop on the way. Parking his truck, he got out of the vehicle as he slammed the car door behind him.

Hands in the pockets of his hoodie as he began walking through the woods. He went further into a secluded area as leaves crunched beneath his shoes. Finally he had reached his destination. The Stoner Pit. There had been also been one at his High school, however, this was more his domain. He sat down on a rock as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out his joint. He would come up here with Vicki and all his stoner friends when they felt like ditching school for the day or late at night. What a throw back. He began thinking back to the old times when he hung with the wrong crowd and far he had come since then. The joint still between his fingers, he reached in the front pocket of his hoodie for his lighter, flipping it on as he aimed the flame against his blunt. He lifted it towards his mouth, taking a deep inhale and drag from the reefer substance and blew out a couple of smoke rings. A grin laying on his face as he would always remain a stoner below the surface.

Finishing the last few hits, he stood to his feet. He looked around once more and put two fingers towards his forehead and then did a salute like gesture in his way of saying goodbye to the spot. He returned back to his truck, turning on the engine as he continued driving towards the location he had originally came here for.

W
hat are you? Man or Superman?

The question lingered in the back of his mind that his crushed had teasingly asked him. He had accidentally ran into her and knocked her school books out of her hands. Jeremy Gilbert was your average High school student. Well...for the most part... I mean besides the fact he was from another planet entirely and was an alien from Krypton. Otherwise...he was a typical clumsy, awkward teenage boy trying to fit in the world. He also was not allowed to join any sports due to his inhuman strength and speed. He had to keep his secret hidden and could not afford anybody finding out about him. Adjusting the straps of his backpack as he walked down the hallway and past the lockers, he turned when he reached his first class for the day. He settled in a seat towards the back. Their normal biology teacher was not their and instead they had a substitute teacher.

A rather attractive one at that. She had long dark hair falling down past her shoulders, and she was wearing a rather short dress. Good god was it getting hot in here? His best friend, sitting besides him as it wasn't only Jeremy. His friend and the rest of the entire boys in the class were ogling at the woman. The projector screen was lowered and Jer had trouble adverting his eyes. Suddenly and unexpectedly, heat darted from his eyes and caught the screen on fire. He shot back in his seat, a new power had emerged. Heat vision.

J
eremy yawned, pulling back the covers as he climbed out of bed. He slowly dragged his feet across the carpet floor as he walked over to the bathroom. Eyes still heavy as he held onto either side of the sink, lifting his head up slowly to peer at the mirror in front of him. The reflection that looked back at him, however was NOT him. He stumbled backwards, caught completely off guard by the figure he was staring at but they share the same facial expressions he was conveying. Long dark hair in a braided ponytail, his features had changed drastically as they had become feminine. He ran his hands down the front of his body over the newly developed pair of breasts and along his now curvy hips. He swallowed the lump in his throat.  Had he been drugged the night before? What the holy hell had happened?! He never imagined in his whole life would he suddenly wake up to be the opposite gender.
