Waking up and stretching out in bed before getting and running on the balls of her feet to the toilet. After taking care of business, she returned to her bedroom the same way, climbed back into bed and pulled the covers up to her chin. A tired smile spreading across her lips as she closed her eyes and stretched again. Blinking her eyes open, she looked out the window to the chirping birds and the dragonflies flying around. She didn't want to get out of bed. And she didn't want to go to uni and study between lectures and and tutorials for 8 hours, but it had to be done. She had an in-class exam today that she had been preparing for and not showing up was an instant fail. Throwing off the covers, she got up and made her way to the kitchen to the coffee pot. After setting up for a fresh pot, she turned it on and went into the bathroom to shower while it was brewing. Leaving the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her and a towel wrapped up her hair, she went straight to the freshly brewed coffee pot and poured herself a cup. Padding her way over to her bedroom, she took a sip from her cup and set it aside on the dressing table to get dressed. After putting on casual clothes for uni, which was what every one was wearing. No point in dressing up for a day for studying. Finishing her coffee, she got her books, laptop and bag together and left her apartment. Walking out of the building she headed to the subway down the street. Along the way, she brought a muffin and a barista coffee. Getting to the train just in time she boarded and took an available seat. She liked where she lived and this particular line because there was always available seats every time she was on. Getting off the subway, she threw her trash in the bin and left the station. Walking along the street to the traffic lights, she crossed with the change of lights and walked up the slight incline to the uni proper. She made her way across the campus and entered the building that her first class was in. Making her way to her lecture theater, she weaved in and out of the foot traffic. Opening the door to the lecture theater, she made her way the stairs to the middle, chose a row and slid to the middle section of the seats. Picking a seat, she pulled out her laptop and set up to begin that class. After her uni day was over, Kat walked quickly to the subway and just caught the train to home. She had to go home and get ready for work. She worked most nights at the restaurant and she only went to uni 3 days a week. She had the weekends to herself, which she enjoyed outdoor activities and hanging out with friends. The two weekdays that she wasn't at uni, she did the day to day living chores that everyone had to do.
