Powers Since Madelyne was cloned from Jean Grey'sDNA, she was essentially another version of Jean, and possessed Jean's telekinetic and telepathic abilities, although they manifested far later. It is unclear whether she inherited her template's full Omega-level potential although Sinister's use of her clones as a means of containing the Phoenix force suggests that she was of a similar caliber. When she was a psychic ghost, Madelyne revealed that she was so powerful that she, like Elizabeth Braddock, could only be contained in a body that was capable of housing such massive psychic powers, comparing her own powers to Psylocke's. So she is consider an Omega-level mutant. Telekinesis: Her telekinesis is powerful enough that Madelyne's abilities enabling her to manipulate matter and energy on a molecular level, can move, lift, and manipulate fairly large objects, channel her telekinetic powers to fire powerful, mental, concussive blasts or focus her mental energy at a specific target in order she can release devastating force blasts, and control the biological functions of other lifeforms including other humans, focus her psionic energy into weapons or projecting telekinetic shields capable of withstanding missile blasts and more as a near-impenetrable force field, and levitate herself in order to fly at fairly high speeds or merely hover. On a few occasions, she can make images in her mind become tangible.   Reality Warping: She has the ability to bend the quantum strings that make up reality within a localized area through precise telekinesis.   Molecular Manipulation: ability to rearrange the molecular structure of matter, or even up to a cosmic scale. (Using her telekinesis. She can even change her clothes into whatever she desires along with stimulate individual molecules to create heat)  Telepathy: She can read and manipulate the minds of others and even higher-order animals within a vast, potentially limitless, radius. Her notable powers include:   Telepathic Cloak: She can mask her presence from being detected by others. Her abilities can, at times, go undetected or be counteracted by more powerful telepaths depending on their level of skill in using their own psi abilities. She can extend these defenses to others around her as well.   Psionic Shield: She has the ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of herself and of others' minds.   Telepathic Camouflage: She has the ability to mask herself, and other peoples' presence from those around her. She can telepathically disguise herself, making her appearance to those around her quite different (changing the appearance of clothing, as well as more involved disguising).   Mind Control: She has the ability to control the minds of others upon mere concentration.   Mind Possession: She has the ability to possess the mind of another, and use that beings body as her own.   Mind Alteration: She has the ability to alter the minds of others by force of will, changing their personality partially or entirely.   Telepathic Illusions: She has the ability to create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.   Mental Paralysis: She has the ability to induce temporary mental or physical paralysis.   Mental Amnesia: She can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.   Psionic Blasts: She can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness and turning someone brain-dead.   Mind Transferal: She is able to transfer both her mind and powers into other host bodies if her own physical body could be somehow killed.   Mental Detection: Can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of herself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.   Induce Pain: She can also induce mental pain merely by touching the brow of her victim.   Cloak Mind: She has the ability to rearrange the “mental engrams” of mutants so their distinctive mutant though patterns cannot be detected by Cerebro-type devises or by other telepaths.   Mind Link: She has the ability to develop a mental link with any person which remains as a connection to that individual.   Dark Psyche: She has the ability to release the dark side of a person's personality, and make them evil.   Astral Projection: She can project her astral form from her body onto astral planes or the physical planes. In the physical plane, she can travel in astral form over vast distances. In the astral plane, she can mentally create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of her environment. She can communicate with others astrally through her own will or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others.   Astral Teleportation: Teleport over long distances by psychokinetically shunting herself in and out of the astral plane (she was also shown to be able to carry additional weight, such as another person, when she teleported, but her limits were never fully tested).   Psionic Siphoning: She is able to siphon the psychic energies from other psionic mutants. She could then use the stolen psychic energy to boost her own powers or channel the energy into someone else, usually Nate Grey, to temporarily increase their psionic abilities.   Psychic Vampirism: Though it is not confirmed in the pages of X-Man it is strongly hinted that Madelyne either learned new powers from Selene or stole some of her powers. The ability to teleport and the ability to drain mutants energies were both examples of Selene's influence. This was further hinted at in X-Man #52 when she was shown to be aged and withered after over-exerting her powers much like Selene.   Phoenix spark: After her reconstitution as a psychic being, Pryor was apparently still connected to the Phoenix Force. It was strongly hinted in X-Man #33 that Madelyne is indeed a living spark of the Phoenix which explains why Nate was able to psionically recreate her, though she is in truth only a living mass of psionic energy.   Sorcery: Madelyne possesses the ability to cast a wide variety of simple and complex spells. Possessing considerable magical abilities, having gained a great deal of mystical knowledge while as the Goblin Queen. She may also have learned some magic from Selene. The number of magical effects that she can create has yet to be cataloged, but it is known that she can cast and counteract spells and summon extra-dimensional demons.  Her sorcery might is such that she has been shown to heal wounds, locate spirits inter-dimensionally, and work in conjunction with technology to restore life to the long dead. First, I would like to say that roleplaying is important to me. I look forward to the creativity and imagination required to do it well. I love to get lost in the wonder of new worlds and see things such as an amethyst dragon flying at sunset, or smell the jasmine as it floats with the breeze, or feel the salt spray of the ocean waves and hear them as they sigh in to break on the beach and retreat. I love these things. But as with everything, there are those who knowingly or not try and ruin the experience. These are my rules that were written in answer and are provided to hopefully avoid any misunderstandings, and will be updated as new issues arise. I would appreciate any who reads them to also sign. It is the one thing she is still cold about with him, though he does try to make up for it by allowing visits, she feels as though she has lost a child. This is evident when Louis does visit, she does not see him as her child anymore, but as any normal person on the street, she remembers only when he was little. At times, she does show him motherly warmth, though it is brief, and often retracted. She does nothing to intervene in her husband's frequent beating of her children, instead, she turns the other cheek. Witty and smart. She does not like being treated less than her worth, and will go out of her way to prove others wrong. She is the girl that's 'one of the guys'. This is because she grew up in a mostly male household, where the boys were obviously favoured. Her closest companion is her twin brother, Lorenzo. Though, she does confide in her mother for more feminine things, such as boys and heartbreak. She is very close with her mother, but not close at all with her father. She is constantly stepping on her fathers toes, though she does try to bite her tongue most times. She just explodes when she has had enough. She will challenge her brothers constantly, and dares them to do things, just to prove themselves as 'men' and/or 'wizards. To see who is better. She is the only one that attempts to start a sibling relationship with Louis, though, her actions are often times shot down. She claims herself to be a follower of the Dark Lord, but sometimes her loyalty is looked upon questionably. Which causes friction with her family, and her siblings, Louis included. She is constantly trying to keep an eye on her estranged baby brother, popping in from time to time without warning.. much to Louis' disapproval. He is usually not up to anything good when she shows up. She has a thick skin, and doesn't let too many in. Emotionally, she is rather bruised, always fighting for and needing approval from her father and brothers, and usually men in general. Though, she is not a whore by any means, she does not get attached to others easily. So, if she were to sleep with any given person, that does not automatically mean there is any feeling behind it. She is rather closed-off in that sense. Like her mother, she is very big on keeping up her appearance, though it takes little effort on her part, usually.
