About me: I was born in Parkland, Florida on August 8, 1989. In Parkland, I attended Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School. I received a scholarship to Florida Atlantic University and had committed. But before classes started, I was taken in the sixth round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Boston Red Sox. In 2010, I was traded to the San Diego Padres. On June 9, 2011, I made my Major League debut for the Padres. On January 6, 2012, I was traded to the Chicago Cubs. In 2016, I helped lead the Cubs to their first World Series title since 1908. I remained a Cub until July 29, 2021, when I was traded to the New York Yankees.
