Remember kids, Jesus was Black. Ronald Reagan was the devil and the Government was responsible for 911, also never meet your heroes. They never turn out to be Chris Evans without a shirt. listen to that song, it's great.

Yeah? I guess my kidnapper isn't all that bad, either. Despite having a mouth on you. Please me outta here, Red. NYC is becoming a sight for sore eyes. -Biting her lip, trying not to let her mind wander at the picture he painted- Hm..suppose we're both gonna be hungry after those sessions, right?
-Small Smirk tugging at her lips- Jeez, Red. You're speaking my language.ย Eatin' fancy food and ingulging in f-fests? That's a damn vacation in my eyes. I doubt the historic sites would be very happy to witness our..shenanigans but hey i'm up for that kinda party. Though you may get accused of kidnapping me, just a fair warning.
You would think the human race would learn when it came to their mistakes in history. But no โ not this time. Through fear and misunderstanding, history was repeating itself. Mutants were humans that have advanced through the general rule of evolution. Instead of being seen as people anymore, they were freaks. Some with powers so advanced that they could be compared as weapons of mass destruction. And such people were so feared that many believed they should be locked away โ or worse. Actually death was more of a freeing option then being placed in a cell with a collar around your neck. Mutants were being hunted in every corner like some damn witch hunt.
While Enchantress wasn't a mutant, she could sympathize with these people. She herself was seen as someone so powerful that she could end the world. While she was not locked away behind bars, she was a different kind of prisoner. She may have accepted to join Waller and her Suicide Squad under the promise she will find a way for June to get rid of the succubus that possessed her. Too bad that promise was leaning towards a lie โ a lie that June was beginning to realize. The last bit of hope she was given was Waller introducing Madame Xanadu to her. The ancient sorceress has become her mentor and been helping her in training with the arcane and to better balance her control of Enchantress. But that has been a few years now and Waller seems to have forgotten her promise. Which is why Enchantress was about to give her a rather large reminder.
Somewhere within the baren dessert of Navada was a camp that was housing mutants. Recently Waller has been picking through the occupants. Trying to find who caught her attention for new recruits of the squad. Enchantress wasn't the only member who was rather peeved finding this out. So Enchantress decided that maybe it was time for Waller to realize that she didn't need any new members โ she had all the members she needed right in front of her. That she needed to change priorities and to keep her word.
Blonde haired and blue eyed June Moone was sitting at one of the empty long tables within the cafeteria. She was able to feel the cold metallic material of her seat through the thin fabric of her orange jump suit. June had a food tray to the right of herself. The lunch today was a bologne sandwich with a cup of fruit and chips โ better than she expected but still lacking. June had already picked through some of it, she wasn't exactly hungry. Instead of having her attention on her food, she had a sketch book in front of her. While she was casually scetching what looked to be a horse. Something to sketch to pass the time. June would stop a few times. Using the pencil to scratch between her neck and the blasted heavy ass collar around her neck. Even if the damn thing didn't do anything with her powers since they were mystical and not genetic. She needed to play the part of being a mutant.
But as June stopped itching and went back to drawing โ it happened. โThat is the third horse you have drawn. What are we sitting around for?โ She would pause in her tracks and glanced up from the sketch book. โAnd for the one-hundreth time. We're waiting for the right moment to help these people.โ June would sofly speak between her teeth in hopes no one heard her.
โThe right moment, ha! If anything they deserved to get caught. They have powers and yet couldn't get away.โ The Succubus would comment in amusement to the situation. โOr maybe some of them didn't use their powers because they didn't want to make the situation worse?โ June would argue back with the creature speaking in her head. But June would glance to the side, even scooting her book out of the way a little. Where the scratched up metal surface gave a heavily blurry reflection. Long raven black hair and glowing green eyes โ it was the hag within.
โIf they didn't use their powers โ what a fool. The human race is evolving, there is no more room for weakness. Soon enough your species will be returning to it's primal world. Where the strong survive and the weak...โ June would roll her eyes. She was already annoyed with her partner. โWell I didn't realize that you were Mrs. Cleo.โ Only for The Hag to ask confused.
โWho is this Ms. Cleo you speak of? Was she also a devourer of souls?โ โNo she was a devourer of your wallets...She was a fake phychic.โ โIf I could see the future June then I wouldn't have been rewarded with you as my vessel. I do hope someone burned out her eyes with red hot pokers. Then took her tongue, sliced it off, and made her consume it. Claiming yourself to be a pychic when you're not is a grave offence in my shadow realm.โ As the evil Hag spoke about the punishment that would have been given to Ms. Cleo for her lies. June put down her pencil and raised her brows. She was a little taken back with how gruesome the punishment was for lying. But in truth โ it wasn't all to surprising considering what kind of creature she is. โWow, holy crap! Yeah...I think they outlawed that since the beginning of time.โ
But then all of a sudden, she heard a different voice. โYou have a voice in your head too?โ her right ear would twitch. June went dead silent as she felt not only embarassment rise within her but also her anxiety. She must have started talking a bit louder than she needed. She was even feeling heat on her cheeks as she started to go a little flushed. June wouldn't move her head. Only her eyes would glance over to see...well he looked like a burn victim. June would clear her throat as she was trying to think fast. She even took her sketch book and casually slid it over the reflection of the Succubus even though no one else can see her. But think June, think!
โWe-Well as you can see I don't have a friend here so...guess I'll be my own.โ She would give a anxious smile and even a bit of a anxious laugh to go with it. She then realized what she said was just utterly dumb. June would look up at Wade with those bright blue eyes. Then shake her head, her right hand raising and rubbing her forehead as her eyes closed, relax June. โI swear I go outside and touch grass from time to time.โ But she would put her hand back down onto the table and open her eyes to look at him again. While his looks would scare anyone else โ she'd seen worse. But that's not what was bothering her. She was beginning to pick up a smell, and it was all to familiar โ this man was dying. June's connection with necromancy allowed her to pick up when someone was on death's door.
